I came here for my birthday dinner, they were pretty busy but the waitress was ok she seemed like she had a lot of tables which isn't on her - she did refill the waters regularly and helped identify a dish I had walked past that looked good. I normally only get and always have only got the da Vinci and I tried something new which was amazing ! She did tell me tho they no longer offer a free slice of cheesecake for birthdays which was surprising they only offer a bite size Sunday which was mostly chocolate sauce - maybe if they are concerned with the cost of a free slice showing an ID for your birthday month should be a thing to allow a free slice still. Service was lacking to say the least. We have been to several different locations and tonight was a total wow even for me. 30 minutes for a cocktail, mind you my other guests were on their second round of drinks. My food was the worst Jamaican dish I've ever had must have been from their cousins not her fault. Our server Kim brought out a piping hot plate of chicken tenders and fries, for my underage teenager wow!!! That's first ever for me!!! I was a server too!!!! Finally ordered and then she comes back 5 minutes later to tell us they don't have what the hubs ordered. We wound up at the Cheesecake Factory about mid-afternoon. The service and food were above average but not what I would expect from this restaurant chain. Don't mid-understand my comment as we still enjoyed ourselves. I ordered the bacon-bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. Also finished out our experience with a cup of coffee. Food was great, but the coffee tasted as if it had been "on the burner" for a while. Lukewarm and not very fresh. If that's my only complaint, life is good. So I have been wanting to try this place and we did on a Tuesday thinking it would not be to busy . It was steady but, not busy . The noise level was awful the music was so loud and you could hear everything people talking so loud plates , silverware. I was surprised how loud it was . The server was precious, just a little unorganized. We were seated very quickly but, we didn't get bread until after our appetizer which was ok but, it would have been nice to have it with the drinks . The appetizer was 13.00 for 6 tiny stuffed mushrooms that were so delicious, so the price stung a little less . So , then we waited and waited and the server kept feeding us bread lol finally our food came and she acted like the plates were so hot but, actually they weren't . The food was not even warm definitely not hot . I tried the lighter menu 500 cal or less for the medallions. It was not bad the sauce. The wine sauce was amazing but that's about it. My husband got the bacon burger and he said it was OK and then my daughter got the steak and asparagus and the mac & cheese and the mac & cheese looked kind of hard like it doesn't didn't look cheesy like it was melted. She rudely said "it'll be a 10-15 minute wait." I said really? No thankyou. When I tell you this lady clearly hated her life and job, it was bad. No emotion, very rude. Not someone who should be a front face for a restaurant . Also, why would there be a wait when it was slow and there was 3 people in the restaurant but the table were very dirty? Yesterday we were celebrating my NO MORE CANCER diagnosis! Ask for Kim! She was an awesome addition to our celebration! The food and drinks were great! Thai Lettuce Wraps are my FAVORITE! But the part that really made a BIG difference was KIM. Kim shared that her best friend, Claudia is going through stage 4 cancer right now. We stopped, held hands, and the 4 of us prayed over Claudia, her children and her husband too. We absolutely were supposed to cross paths. I have been to this location a few times. Typical mediocre food at a ridiculously high cost. None of it healthy for you. After tonight's experience, I don't see a need to ever return to this national chain. I simply ordered a piece of cheesecake online. Was given a range for when to pick it up. I waited thirty three to twenty three minutes past the range of time for the pickup. I had to give them my name several times. I watched others come in, place an order and leave with their orders. I watched the few minutes it took to take the cheesecake out and place it in the to go container. So why the wait? Why did every other customer get their dessert before me? This has been our go to restaurant since we moved to Corpus Christi. The food is absolutely delicious, A+ on that. Bow tie pasta has such a unique taste that I really enjoy. We walked in on a Sunday morning for a pre birthday brunch. The wait was not long as our table was ready once we walked in. We were 8 total and everyone was pleased! Our server Isaac was on point and very polite. Always explaining menu items and answering any questions we had. We gave him a hard time with some "roasting" but he was a great sport!! First I want to remind everyone that they've only been open for a few weeks so extend some grace as they're still learning the ropes here. The atmosphere is great, music isn't too loud. The food is delicious we tried the hot spinach dip for an appetizer and it was delicious. My husband wanted the "pizza style" chicken Parmesan but they were out which was a bummer, so he got the Mac and cheese burger. The buns have sesame seeds and they don't have a substitute. With sesame seeds being a top allergen, I'd like to see Cheesecake Factory have a substitute. I ordered the Baja Chicken Tacos and they were delicious! We eat at Cheesecake Factory at least once a week. I don't order the chopped salad! Love the menu options and especially the Skinny Menu, and calorie counts for menu items. The Skinny Salmon and Mediterranean Chicken are two of my favorites as is the freshly baked sour dough bread and beet salad. We watched Solo take the next step into management and really enjoy keeping up with the long time employees. Great restaurant providing very good opportunities to their employees. I ordered the vegan Cobb salad, which was huge. If you are a fan of huge quantities, then this is the place for you. However, despite the number of potentially tasty toppings, I found the salad to be bland and mediocre. The cucumbers were soft and the tomatoes were flavorless. The salmon color of the tomatoes was a warning, I suppose. The avocado was very flavorful, however. :) unfortunately the two complimentary breads they served were both not vegan. C'mon, Cheesecake Factory! How hard is it to offer a vegan bread? I hope one day they will offer a vegan cheesecake. :) read more
