An excellent representation of the franchise. I was greeted and promptly seated on my visit on a November week night. I was quickly greeted by the waitress who took my drink and meal order and accommodated my customizations. Within 4 minutes my drink, bread, and salad were delivered. And 18 minutes later my steak and side of french fries were delivered. The steak was cooked to order and wonderfully seasoned. The fries were crisp and also well seasoned. My waitress checked in on me regularly and I never lacked for a drink refill. We had the steak which was perfectly made with some asparagus and corn if you haven't had their corn just try it you won't regret it!! OK so we were gonna go to the Fuji, but it had a really long wait so we ended up at Longhorn and when I tell you, the steak was good it was good. I got the sirloin and it tasted like a filet mignon. It had a great crust and was very filling. The service was great. They got our food fast even with there being lots of people in there the little details on the wall of the lake Texas theme was nice. Went to the bar. 4 people sitting on the right side, dirty dishes covering threat of the bar. Got seated at high tops near bar and waited 15 minutes and did not get waited on. Servers out front on phone and standing around. Got there at 8:10 pm on Sunday. They were not busy. Come here often and never had a reason to complain. I'm not the biggest fan of steakhouses, so this is potentially biased. I would much rather buy and grill my own meat if I have access to a grill. There really wasn't anything special about the LongHorn Steakhouse, in my opinion. Your options literally are limited to either getting an overpriced piece of meat, a mediocre burger, sides, or one of their three salad options. I ended up going with the burger with a side salad. Again, nothing more than average. By far the best thing about my experience was the service. The waitress was very personable and did her job well. The restaurant has a nice feel to it. Brooke our server was very pleasant. She answered all our questions including suggestions for restaurants in Chattanooga. We started with the spinach cheese appetizer. It was really good and will order again. They serve a small wheat loaf which we enjoyed. We both had the chicken parmesan and half rack of ribs. Both were enjoyable. We chose salads and opted for the upgraded Mexican corn for our side dishes. For me, the corn was the only slight disappointment. I ordered a cheeseburger for lunch. It was very tasty and they cooked it to order. Most places will cook a burger well done and then some. These guys executed it perfectly to order. The rice as my side was also very good. The service was very friendly. My only complaint is simply that she walked by my table multiple times when I needed something. She could've saved herself a lot of work by asking the two tables she had beside each other if they needed anything on the same trip. I chalked it up to her probably being newer. The staff has been unsuccessful in turning tables in a timely manner which will cost the restaurant in lost revenue. I witnessed many parties leaving upon hearing about the long wait. I'm in Dalton, GA for a business trip and stopped by here for dinner. Came in at 5:30pm and the place wasn't packed. Nice hosts and waitresses/waiters. Got seated quickly within a minute. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, and upgraded my salad to the Pecan Salad. The lamb chops were undercooked. I asked for medium rare, but some parts were still raw. The salad was really good, and I loved it. There are a couple things: as you may or may not know, when you sit down at Longhorn steakhouse. They give you bread and butter. For some reasons, they gave me half loaf of bread (maybe I was by myself?). In addition, the food came out really quick, the salad and lamb chops came out at the same time which I thought was weird. But it's whatever I ate the lamb chops first before it got cold. I gave it a 4 stars instead of 3 because the service was excellent. read more

We either eat there or order takeout about once a month. Our experience has always been good. On a recent visit we thought that was going to change. My wife ordered chicken parmesan chicken. She told me it was tough and I tried to cut it up for her. The steak knife would hardly cut through it. I noticed that the crust on the bottom was the main problem. When I told our server, he immediately said that he would bring her another serving. He did that and the replacement was perfect. We agreed that they had left it on the grill too long. When he brought the check he also had taken her order off the bill. The manager also apologized and said that he would make sure the kitchen avoided making this mistake again. The last 3 times I have gone I see cockroaches. One was on my silverware the next time in the bathroom and this last time it was around the table. Never had any issues before hand but cockroaches is not something you want to see when you go to a sit down restaurant. They should at least spray the place to keep them away. Ate here two nights in a row. Walked up the first time on a Friday and was seated in 10 minutes when they said it would be 15 and on Saturday night we walked up again and were seated in 15 minutes when they said it would be 25 and it was prom night too. Both nights our server was Kristy H and she was great both nights. Very attentive without hanging all over you. The food was top notch the first night I had the 6oz fillet and lobster which was awesome the second night I went a little lighter and had the sirloin and parm chicken. Neither disappointed. The only minus was no seat covers in the bathroom (I'm from California so I'm a bit finicky about my bathroom) but overall excellent. Then we were seated and our waiter was very wise with the time he was kind took our order and made small talk which I enjoy. To the food. I started with a nice fresh bread which was good but after a few pieces it got grainy, to the actual dinner; the sirloin steak cooked to a medium well, the steak was a little over cook but the flavor was great it had a lot of A-1 sauce. garlic potatoes which seemed overwhelming with the garlic. It was tense and stressful asking her for water or bread because her answer wasn't even verbal. It was just a "mhm" and than she walked away. Management please get rid of her, even if the food was spectacular I would never return because of who you have as a face of your business. Being in the customer focused industry, she is just not where she needs to be career wise.
