Decided to stop by here while waiting for my flight, and this is one of my favorite places inside of DTW. It's not the best food in Detroit, but it's definitely top 3 in the airport for a good meal. The service was great, they were very busy and still checked in on me a few times and food came out quickly. The Texas Tonion was amazing until I ran out of sauce and it was a little bit on the saltier side with a tad bit too much seasoning, but still good. The caesar salad was great, fresh and kept a nice balance in the meal. I also had a filet mignon with some fries and the cook on the steak was near perfect to what I ordered. Flavor was good, very tender and juicy. The fries were standard steak fries, slightly above average.

Went here on my lunch break and unfortunately sad that I did. If you have a limited amount of time avoid this restaurant. I came in a 10:45am it wasn't super busy a few people at the bar 3 servers one bartender. The host advise me to wait at the bar to order so I did. I wasn't greeted by a server until 11:00 am at which time I was told my soup would be awhile because the kitchen was behind. I waited bc the other restaurant nearby didn't have soup and I was under the weather. I got my soup at 11:16 with only about 3 mins to try and eat it. The waitress was very apologetic but unfortunately the service is this way at night or in the day. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We were put on a 30-minute wait list for the nearly empty restaurant because it allegedly had only one server. They take your name and do not contact you via phone, so you must wait near the hostess area. Note: if you have a drink at the bar, they will seat you before the people on the waiting list. The premeal cocktails were fine. The appetizer was the wild west shrimp that was only warm with soggy shrimp. The salad was good, but my fillet was underwhelming and not medium. My son's ribeye was overcooked and not medium rare. Both entre presentations were unrelieved. Our empty plates and glasses were not removed from the table and stacked around us. Low top, booth, and bar seating. Clean with cloth napkins. Loud. Competitive prices for an airport restaurant. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

Decided to eat at this location whilst waiting for our flight! The service was quick and the staff was friendly which was helpful as we were on a time crunch to catch our flight. We had a view of the runway which was nice as well. We had ordered the salmon and the sirloin and the food was okay. It was a bit pricey however we received a salad and one side with our meal which was nice. Would go back again if we are headed to the airport.

Pork chops and steamed broccoli, surprisingly good

Pretty good for airport food. It wasn't much different from fast food places, depending on what you get. You could have a decent burger meal for under $20, which seems to be the going rate at even fast food joints in this stretch. Service by the bus girl was slow though she was nice... but then the rest of service was better. Samm was stellar. Pork chops with broccoli was great. Meat could have been a bit more tender, especially since they don't have steak knives. But seasoning was very well done and person was huge! There were three good sized pieces, and I was full with just one. Burger was on the saltier side, but solid. Fresh ingredients. Caesar salad didn't come tossed, but with sauce on top, so I had to continually mix it up. Oh and the fries are good! I good fries. All in all, nice dinner before heading out to Paris.

The place has a sort of industrial feel that didn't lend itself well to a date night. Cocktails run about $16-18 and wines by the glass are $15-20. I had the El Diablo with Joven Tequila, Rescoldo Beet, Amaro, Ginger, Lemon which I thought was good but nothing groundbreaking. Most of their cocktails are riffs on classics. My husband had a glass of wine. To eat, we got the rescoldo beets ($19) which was priced steeply for a simple albeit tasty dish. He got the black rice (Peruvian Bay Scallops, Moqueca Sauce, Preserved Lemon) - $38 and I had the chicken with chimibutter and mustard - $35. Portions for mains were larger than expected. Unfortunately, we weren't wowed by any of the dishes. If I had to order one again, it would probably be the chicken, which was cooked well. We took quite a few leftovers home and honestly barely touched them. It was a pretty big let-down based on how much people rave about Barda. I can't say I would return.

Every item was fresh and flavorful. We definitely will come back - though not all the time as that is cost prohibitive. While it definitely is on the pricey side, we are very happy to have dined here tonight.

We ordered a few appetizers, artichoke, squash and asparagus. The squash was unique. It had pickled summer squash, a vegetable that I never considered pickling. Simply delicious. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the sauce really enhanced it. Great side dish. I did not try the artichoke, but my wife and daughter both said they were amazing. I can confidently say London Chop House ruined my life…read more Make no mistake, this is a five star review. I'm just genuinely disappointed that I now have to live with the knowledge that the best mac & cheese and carrot cake I've ever had exist in a city I don't live in. Our server, Lola, described the mac & cheese as "divine" and highly recommended the carrot cake. I should have known better than to trust her. The mac & cheese was, in fact, divine. I told Lola she had ruined my life because I will never be able to eat another mac & cheese without comparing it to this one. But the carrot cake? That was personal. Carrot cake is my favorite dessert, and I had a genuine emotional response to the first bite. Like, I actually wanted to cry. It was THAT good. I've spent my entire life loving carrot cake just to find out every piece I've ever eaten was apparently preparing me for this one. Now nothing will ever measure up. So fair warning, do not order the mac & cheese or carrot cake unless you're prepared to ruin perfectly good versions of both for yourself forever. The food was incredible, Lola was fantastic, and I'm honestly a little bitter that I don't live locally. 10/10. Five stars. Completely devastating. Would absolutely let them ruin my life again.
