Wow! My first time here. Loved it. I got a lunch special which was grilled chicken with a strawberry salad with a side of seasoned fries. Absolutely yummy! HORRIBLE service. As someone who hardly goes out to eat, I strongly encourage to go elsewhere because our server, the angry man with cauliflower ears, was extremely rude from the start. We were sat near the entrance and politely asked to be moved to a less crowded seat... this waiter decided to take his anger out on us and became very verbally disgusted when told about this, and he complained loud enough for us to clearly hear. He then moved us to a new table and proceeded not to pick up our menus or silverware and then left. Then came back to ask us if were ready yet without looking or speaking towards us. Seemed distracted. We Ordered an appetizer and he quickly walked away before we even finished, leaving us to wait again for him to finish our appetizer order. Once he did come back many minutes later, our appetizers were not warm and he set them on the corner of our table, with half of the plate hanging off the edge. First off, Food! I enjoyed the food tremendously. Starting with the appetizer's to the dessert. Delicious with a few constructive criticism added. Onion soup could have been a little less saltier. Almost tastes like package and I've had a lot in my lifetime to distinguish it. It just makes it even saltier. Appetizers are topped with heavy crusty breading which I definitely love but shouldn't. Be aware and ask if it can be lightly sprinkled or removed, I'm sure they won't mind. Wait help was on point. Almost overly attentive. For a chain and all they have amazing cuts of meat that they cook perfectly. I'm a steak snob and they always nail it. I'm nuts about the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms, sometimes I get that as my meal haha. They really drop the ball in the chicken rolls department. Last time they were mushy and we had to send them back. This time they were so raw in the middle they were like bubble gum even though we ordered them crispy. We showed the waitress and she agreed and said she wouldn't eat that either. I'm perturbed I was still charged for them when not only did they get my order wrong, but it was unacceptable by any standards. Fried pickles were so overcooked they weren't juicy and the batter just fell off. We didn't even bother to complain because we were annoyed and our waitress was busy. I got takeout from this location and first thing I noticed is that they take the COVID protocols seriously. People were waiting outside and maintaining social distance and the host was masked up and doing a good job of crowd control during these COVID times. The order came out right on time. The staff was super friendly and the quality of food was excellent. The bread was still warm and so fresh and my steak was cooked exactly to order. Tried this steakhouse one year ago and wasn't terribly impressed but we got a gift card so we thought we would give it another go. We got seated immediately but it was 8pm so keep that in mind. After getting seated we got served a bread loaf with butter and ordered our drinks. Our drinks came right away. Our server was polite and attentive but not overbearing. My wife order a ny strip with a sweet potato and Caesar salad. I got a rib-eye with a loaded baked potato and a Caesar salad. I was sitting enjoying my salad which was actually pretty good when my wife found a lady bug in hers. Yep really happened lol. She handled it pretty well and mostly laughed it off. We called the waiter over who apologized and offered an extra side, then the manager came over with the same kind of speech. She got steamed asparagus as her side. All the food was cooked perfectly except my baked potato which was a little dry. The flavor of the steaks was surprisingly good and the service was excellent. Food was to my liking but my experience was horrible considering it was my birthday. I did not tell the waitress because I did not want the normal family-style restaurant staff stupid song if there was one. We waited for everything FOREVER. I ordered a chocolate dessert but never got it. I guess Longhorn and I are at the end of our journey together unless you can convince my family that we shouldn't just go to another one the infinite number of other restaurants in the area. So, I don't give many 5 star reviews and I don't think that I have given one to a chain restaurant, but I simply love Long Horn for their value and quality. I have only ever eaten at the Long Horn location in Erie, and always with my wife's family. As a kid my parents used to take my brother and me to Ponderosa for steaks and salad bar. I grew quite fond of cheap steaks, cooked up on a fiery grill. Well, Long Horn has vastly improved on the 1970s cheap steakhouse experience that I loved as a kid. Let's talk price - wow. My only experiences here have been for weekend lunch and they nail the price point perfectly. I usually order a Pick 2 luncheon special, which includes unlimited bread, a generous salad, a side or soup, and a steak. The French Onion soup is delicious, rich and meaty broth, tons of onions and perfectly baked cheese. All that food for around $12! The steak is always cooked to perfection (I like it medium-well), seasoned and sizzling hot. I have never had a fatty piece of steak here. The sirloin cut is just right and it is not too big. Sandwiches are delicious as well, half a baguette with prime rib is melt-in-your mouth goodness! Pro Tip - you get a free sundae on your birthday (and they take you at your word, no ID required lol) and it is awesome! Also, if you sign up for their email newsletter you get a coupon for a free appetizer :). If you go for an appetizer, try the chicken bites with the yummy sweet and spicy southwest sauce. Hello to everyone looking at reviews, I am your recent reviewer. I have went here over a dozen times in the past 2 years, and have enjoyed myself. A bit of a note, I do not eat at places that are not top tier and expensive. Back to the review I will start with wait time and pricing, then onto the service and food. The wait time is generally okay. As expected anywhere around 5-7 you should expect more wait time, especially on a Friday, the weekend, or a holiday/break. Probably close to 30-45 minutes on those selective days. Not that bad, sometimes they will say 35 and you will wait 20 and get in. Sometimes not. And simply put with pricing, they are not very expensive. Although depending on the cut, or some special drink it will add up quickly to a more costly experience. Starting with the service, out of the several different waiters/waitresses I've had they have all been good. Well selected members of the team. No rude attitudes, rushing you to do something, or just being a bad worker. Efficient staff. When it comes to the food, I will also say its good. The general meal really depends person to person as the variety of options is pretty good. But taking on a classic meal something like a ribeye, fries and salad. Then a review can be done. Personally my steaks have come out exactly how I wanted them (medium-well) so I have no complaints there. However for other guests who have been with me they have had a level too high or low on the steaks cook. Same with the seasoning. Mine have generally been well seasoned and pretty good on that end. However other guests of mine have had it be beyond salty and such. Ruining their experience. The fries here are pretty good. Most restaurants easily mess up the fries, but here its well seasoned, crispy, and good. I like it with their ranch or honey mustard. Now onto something that they seem to get very good, and that is their salad. The salad is from every single one of my experiences, fresh and delicious. Perfect greens and the dressing just makes it perfect. Oh yeah they also have complimentary bread and butter, and that tastes pretty good. So overall I will give this a place a 4/5 comfortably after being here over a dozen times. Good food, good service, but may mess something up on the occasion. So they are not perfect. However I enjoy this location, and hope to up the rating a bit with this four star. :) read more

Although I can have many opinions of a restaurant, one of my most particular issues that I can have is the condition of there washrooms. Shortly after entering, I went to wash-up for my meal. Entering the washroom I was overwhelmed with the smell of urine. Although the visual condition was barely acceptable, the smell was unbearable. Upon returning to my table, I noticed the "what seemed" to be the floor manager and numerous employes in the waitress station chatting, and not an attendant around. As my friends and I were seated, the waitress seemed prompt, friendly and attentive but did not advised us of any meal or drink specials. We were handed menus that were clearly handled by a school bus of children returning from a BBQ contest and this all within the first 15 minutes of arriving AND at 11:30am. I would be less critical if it were 11:30pm but the day was just getting started. However the dinning room it self was sufficiently clean. We started our lunch with an order of Parmesan Asparagus, and two cocktails. The cocktails were arrive quite promptly and the appetizer took 17 min. The asparagus was crunchy but not really a strong enough Parmesan flavor 6 / 10. Our entrees were 7 oz "Flo's"filet with a baked sweet potato, and a rack of ribs with fires. The filet was cooked well as my guest requested and stated it was tender and juicy, for flavor it was about a 4 / 10. The sweet potato was barley recognizable and had a pile of brown sugar and cinnamon over the top. The potato itself seemed to be left from the steamer box from the night before and had the texture of pie filling. The ribs were tender the sauce was sweet and the fries were cold. I would give this dish a 4 / 10. For desert we ordered the Caramel Apple Goldrush & Key Lime Pie. Both deserts were mediocre store bought style deserts. Nothing mystical or magical. Extremely sweet and heavy. I have not mentioned anything about the presentation of the food due to the fact there was none. I have attached photos of the appetizer and two entrees, and as you can see, not even a sprig of parsley. Overall experience I give LongHorn Steakhouse in Erie P.a. on Peach street a 3 / 10. Steak is great when cooked correctly. Have had quite a few issues with steak temp and them forgetting sauce or rice.

''Twas the night before Christmas and all through Longhorn Steakhouse..... ok ok, I'm not gonna do that. Anyway, the food was ok and the portion sizes were very small except the ribs, it was a full rack. But the chili cheese fries app was really tiny, the special surf and turf was small and less than presentable (just look at my pic). Typical chain restaraunt food.....middle of the road. Again, I wish we could give 1/2 stars because they would have gotten 2 1/2 not three. Service, well, management understaffed the crew so service was slow. This definately needs improved read more

I pointed it out to the bartender, who served us, that the remaining pile on the plate was sinew not fat....we got a "sorry" ... It was disappointing being dismissed like that without care.
