Tonight was absolutely amazing! I went out with my aunt and despite them being busy, the wait was only ten minutes and the food was out so quick! Our waitress was on top of things and extremely kind! The restaurant itself was very clean despite it being busy, spacious in my opinion. As for the food- probably the best I've ate in awhile! We went here to celebrate my mom's birthday with family. To say we were disappointed by the overall experience, lack of service, getting up charged on a gross salad that the menu said was included in the meal, waiting for at least 20 minutes for Brussel sprouts, and our server, I really hope she is new. The food was so-so, when it actually came. My mom was not happy with her steak. They should not automatically put their weird lemon butter on steak. Each entree and salad were brought out individually, which was very strange. My aunt was charged twice for the Brussel sprouts. Plus free warm bread and butter every time! Just don't eat too much or you won't have room... The steakhouse lunch menu is a great deal starting at only $8.99 as well as $5 happy hour drink specials!!! Hubby and I most recently visited the Lancaster, PA location and another solid experience! Hubby got the surf and turf and I opted for my $8.99 lunch chicken sandwich special! It's hand breaded and fried to perfection, served on a brioche bun w/LTO and ranch! Went for Father's Day, will NEVER, EVER, EVER, E V E R return! We waited for a bit to get in, that's fine. We went at dinner time, it was Sunday, was a "holiday", etc. Once our table was finally ready (a little over an hour), we were notified and seated fairly quickly. We sat down and our waitress immediately gave us menus and took our drink order. There were 6 of us, and we received our drinks within just a few minutes. Guess it was my lucky day, I had noticed a chunk of plastic floating in my cup on top of the ice. Maybe a piece from the ice maker, or ice bin? Either way, was glad it was in my drink and not in one of my children's!! The waitress apologized and brought another drink, but the plastic was just the beginning of our disgusting experience... We were brought our bread order with serving plates. 1 of those plates had old food remnants on it which is just gross. What's even more gross is we also had dried up food on a majority of our silverware - we're talking visible FOOD BITS in between the tines of forks and dried up bits of food on the knives. We needed 4 out of 6 replacement settings of silverware! Guess the joke was on us though as the replacements we were brought were even freaking WORSE!?! How could someone NOT see actual food on the silverware when they're wrapping them in napkins?? Nevertheless, we decided we'd stop asking for anymore silverware as it was more and more disgusting and dirty with each replacement. We ended up barely able to split up the silverware to have clean utensils for each person to eat, but it was whatever. By then, we just realized our cups were "textured". Can you guess why?? Yep - dried up food bits on the outside of 3 out of 6 cups. I'm imagining probably dirty inside as well which is just absolutely disgusting!! Than came the food - ugh... 2 people got the French onion soup. Neither one thought it was great. My daughter said it was EXTREMELY salty and didn't feel well after eating it. 3 of us ordered the 6 oz steak and shrimp. One med/well, one well and I ordered mine "super, extra, well done" (sorry, don't judge). When they were brought out - the server mixed up 2 of the plates even though we told her which one was for who. Only 2 of the 3 dishes had garlic butter with the shrimp, and they forgot the premium side of Mac and cheese (which was brought later when we finally realized). So 2 people were very unhappy with the cook of their steak because one was over and the other under due to the mix up of their plates!?! ...and me? While the steak wasn't SUPER cooked, there was no pink, so I was actually happy with it! I was happy that my baked potato wasn't grossly/heavily salted on the outside like most steakhouses and was actually edible! I'm pretty picky - and I was actually happy with the cook of the steak and the potato - and i was lucky to receive the butter with my shrimp. My husband and son-in-law each ordered the 12oz steaks. My husband had to waste about HALF of his because it was just all fat. The other was okay, but both not cooked properly/as requested. The last order was for salmon and shrimp. No major complaints except for that it was very plain and underseasoned, but no garlic butter with her shrimp either. She had her side of French fries (which are pretty hard to screw up), so...? After eating, my daughter wasn't feeling well and we ended up using the restroom to wash hands and such. The bathroom here was absolutely filthy. My daughter was still feeling sick from the soup and ended up throwing up. Funny how her meal ended up pretty much where it belonged in the first place...?!? Between the filthy silverware, gross and gritty cups and my daughter actually getting sick - i would NEVER recommend this place and will NEVER go back! I will be sure to mention to everyone and anyone my experience and let them know this place should be avoided at all costs!! I'd recommend Outback over this filthy establishment (and i absolutely HATE Outback)! This was $200 LITERALLY flushed down the toilet. I can see this place receiving MULTIPLE health violations for being so disgustingly dirty and i should actually go so far as to report them myself! Hope someone reads this and advises them to buy a working freaking dishwasher, or to fire the person who pretends to wash their dishes. My 5 year old niece could do a better job... I've never been so disgusted in my life with the cleanliness of a place I've been to, and I've been to some weird places! Let me just say I was highly disappointed. Me and my girlfriend came here for dinner and the food wasn't that great. The bread they served was ok. The corn was lame. Chillies has way better street corn. The corn barely has seasoning on it and was under cooked. The fries were good but the steak was not that good. It didn't have much flavor so I had to add salt, after I added salt it tasted ok. I just didn't like the texture it was a little bit too hard. The service on the other hand was amazing. The manager only charged us $3.50 for the meal. I would never come to this steakhouse for steak again at any location. Just a personal preference. In Lancaster for our nieces dance competition next-door heard we tried to come here last night, and they were lined out the door at 5 PM. Today we got here at 4 PM and there was no wait. Our server was kind and friendly and knowledgeable. The wings were excellent and the shrimp were phenomenal. However, the issue came out warm, and we asked for it to be reheated and it was. Was in the area and wanted to try something new, I know Longhorn's been around forever, but we have never been to one and we all have this theory when on Vacation we eat at places we cant eat at home (True Foodie Antics I know) So 40 min quoted wait, it was dinner time in a touristy area so we expected it, but just was considerably longer than the quoted 40, but whatever! Got in and was sat in a nice booth/half table, waitress took entirely too long to even greet us, and was SHOUTING the whole time, like OMG headache shouting. The place was also super loud. Ordered everything, had to continuously repeat things to her, she would often come back over to confirm what we ordered again, I could just tell this was going to be an entire shit show. The service was slow and like pulling teeth! The food, SAVED THIS REVIEW! The steak was delish and the shrimp was just as tasty! Can't go wrong with LongHorn steak anywhere. Their website seems to take call ahead wait list but this particular place actually won't put you on the list until you show up. This was very confusing and I think they should accept call ahead wait list on rainy night like when we visited. Once we got seated, experience was pleasant. (This was for a Saturday night dinner pick up during the time of Covidious. When things return to some state of normal, your experience likely will vary.) If there has been one good thing that's come from this pandemic it's that restaurants have really had to step up their take out/online ordering game. Granted for most it's been a move made out of desperation or duress, but still in my experience it's been mostly a huge step forward. The back end side of dealing with LongHorn is very good. Their site is very easy to use, the pick time was reasonable and because they ask for the make/color of your car we were parked for maybe 45 seconds before someone brought out the food and we were on our way. Chicken Tenders - Salmon - Cheeseburger - Sirloin Some of this was quite good, some not so much. Out of six tenders, two of them were inedible as the outer coating must have been fried in the 6th rung of hell. Super dark color and beyond hard. These should never have been served. The sirloin was requested to be done medium and it was very much a well done-all grey-zero pink experience. The cheeseburger was requested to have no onions or tomatoes on it yet both of course were on the burger. The salmon and it's accompanying rice & broccoli may have been the one thing that was fully done as expected which at over $18, it should be a no-brainer. A brief sidebar of wasteful humor. I asked for ketchup for the burger (no one else ordered anything where ketchup would have been in play) and very nicely they put 16 packets in the bag. WTH?` The moral of the story is that even though the site makes ordering pick up very easy and the food was brought out fast, when the staff can't/doesn't follow how you want things done or doesn't apply any sort of oversight before things get bagged it begs the question, is it really worth it when you just dropped north of $60? read more

Once seated, the waiters were super slow to get our drinks and orders taken, and after taking the order, nothing was put it to the kitchen so we never received our orders for the next 45 mins. I have eaten in other Longhorn restaurants the waitress we had by the name of Zulma H. Was the worse I have experienced. No greeting at all, brought wrong items we didn't order. My finances steak was rare not medium well, as he ordered. Then she brought the bill without asking if we wanted any dessert in which we were going to order dessert to go. This waitress acted like she didn't want to be there. One of the rudest I have encountered. We always enjoy the food at Longhorn . But I will make sure she isn't my waitress when we return. Came here last night because it's one of the few restaurants opened later after 9pm on a Sunday. Our server was so sweet and wonderful. She kept checking up on us and made sure we got everything we need. My only slight issue is I ordered a kids meal for my son, and I wish they had toddler friendly utensils and cups. Otherwise, food was delicious. I had the salmon (small portion) and it was huge! I also got the loaded baked potato and the fish came with rice. I know it's a chain, but I was happy with our overall experience. I think they're underrated because Roadhouse is right across the street, but they like a sweet hidden gem. read more
