I see some lower reviews but honestly had a great experience at this LongHorn steakhouse. We went late on a Monday night, close to closing so it wasn't busy but despite the staff starting to get ready to close, our server was great and inviting and made sure we had a great meal and were not rushed. I had the filet mignon which was actually cooked perfect with delicious flavor. I was very impressed. I will definitely be returning here when I'm in the mood for steak again. read more

I haven't been to a Long Horn in ages, but I happened to be staying in the hotel across the street so I went over for dinner and I had an amazing meal, for pretty cheap too! The service was fast and the food was great. The restaurant gives me a western/ mountain vibe. It was cozy. I started with the French onion soup, which was amazing. It was salty, but I absolutely loved it. Next, I had the spicy chicken bites, which were really good too. Then the entree came. I ordered a ribeye with a loaded baked potato, and it was cooked perfectly (medium rare). The prices are very, very reasonable. I'll definitely be going back to my local Long Horn. read more

This Longhorn is located at the Tampa Premium Outlets. Whenever I shop at night, Longhorn makes the perfect dinner stop before my 40 minute drive home. My PIC and I always sit at the bar and get spoiled by Eric. Whenever our steak isn't cooked perfectly, he'll immediately remedy it. Plus, he always keeps the pours coming. Longhorn is one of my favorite national chain restaurant exceptions. Instead of inflating like every other restaurant, they condensed their extra long menu and kept super old prices. First of all I have to say I was not prepared for the French onion soup delicious you must order it. I ordered the baby back ribs. They were a little overcooked, which was fine by me because I didn't eat the whole thing the mashed potatoes were buttery and delicious. The berry sangria was the finishing touch. The ambiance is always great at Longhorn. It's nicely decorated western style and clean. Our waitress was nice but not attentive enough. She checked with us once after our food was brought out and then she disappeared. Half way through our dinner we wanted refills on our beverages and had to ask a waiter to get her for us. My husband had the baby back ribs and broccoli and the bread and he was very happy with everything. I had the ribeye rare and it wasn't very flavorful and the seasoning wasn't very tasty either. Also it was not real tender. I had the salad which was good. 2 dinners and 4 drinks came out to over $100. I know prices are higher now for everything but I was kinda surprised because there were 3 of us at another steak house and ordered more and that tab was only $125. What a FANTASTIC experience! I was quickly seated and then greeted by my server, Christian. Christian was great! He got every little specific detail of my "special" order perfect. The food came out exactly as I ordered and it was delicious!! He was very attentive, always checking to make sure I had plenty of tea, and that there wasn't anything else I needed. The manager, Julie, came by my table to see how everything was and I mentioned how good the service had been - what an excellent server Christian was, how consistent the food and service always is, and then I mentioned that I also had an email coupon that I was having trouble with on my phone. She helped me with the coupon and I was then able to retrieve the code and give it to Christian to use, which further added to the phenomenal dinner. LOVE the mushroom appetizer, and the Mac n cheese. Parmesan crusted chicken was amazing. Have had steak there before too and it was good as expected, but was really impressed with the other items. Went here for lunch with Daughter Unit and her dear husband. Occasion was Queen Bee's upcoming birthday...we were seated quickly and after a couple of moments the waitress (Sydney) finally showed up. She tried hard to sell us appetizers. No: Just get us water and lunch. Queen Bee and I ordered 12 oz. ribeyes; baked tater for me; Brussels sprouts for her. Both our steaks cooked to more medium rare than medium. OK: we both dealt with it. Queen Bee almost spit up her sprouts; tasted old. My tater tasted like a tater; too hard to screw up. Next time don't rub the damn thing with so much salt. Daughter Unit had filet and asparagus; SIL Unit: sirloin and mashed taters. He's nowhere near a fussbudget as am I. He didn't complain, while Daughter Unit seemed okay with her filet mignon. One positive thing I can say for the nondescript waitress is that she brought a freebie sundae for QB's birthday. The last time I went to a LongHorn Steakhouse was over 10 years ago. Tonight, we decided to give it a try. We were a little skeptical since we were not sure after reading some reviews how our visit would go. We went there with zero expectations. Let me just say, I was blown away by everything..from the excellent service, to the cool ambiance, to the delicious food and drinks. No jokes here!!! I decided to try their In house Patron Dragon fruit Margarita. For the appetizer we chose the Wild West Shrimp. When they brought me the Margarita, they brought the fancy glass with ice and a shaker containing the drink. The sever poured the drink and to my amazements left the shaker with at least 10-15oz of drink at the table!!! It was enough for the two of us! It was so delicious and I highly recommend it to everyone! Then came the Shrimp. It was so fresh and fried to perfection. It had a little kick to it but was not over powering at all. We throughly enjoyed it. A must try!!! For our main entrees, we got the Outlaw Ribeye (10/10) and the 12oz Ribeye (10/10)!! Both cooked Medium. They came out perfect. The seasoning was just right and the meat was so tender and juicy. Our server was phenomenal and so happy they suggested the Dragon fruit Margarita which was the best deal ever! I am so happy we gave them a try after all these years. All I can say is they have improved and exceeding our expectations. We will be returning to this location very soon. read more

My dining partner and I came here on a Sunday afternoon. We knew there would be a wait but that wait was 15 minutes longer than stated --- we waited almost 45 minutes to be seated. And yes, we came hungry! Once we were seated a server came over immediately. We ordered food and drinks all together. Drinks and bread took over 10 minutes to come out. Our food, from that point, took almost 20 minutes. So 30 minutes to get food from the initial ordering time. The salmon salad was quite good. The ribeye was acceptable, cooked to temp, but nothing amazing. Fries were good. Our server was ON POINT and we were well attended to. Safety issue: more than one person complained about slippery floors all over. We told the greeter and our server. Wife ordered a Flo's filet (medium rare) and it was kinda tender, but not what you would expect from a filet. My daughter's sirloin (medium) was almost inedible it was so chewy, and my sirloin (medium rare) was super chewy, completely unseasoned, and just not that great. I grill sirloins all the time at home and love them. I realize they're not typically super tender, but these were just low quality. Ambiance is ok. Service was very decent. They did bring my daughter another steak since hers was so tough, but that's the only thing we mentioned. It's hard to keep complaining when there's so many issues. My wife and I have eaten at several of these chain restaurants for dinner. Food usually good and steaks cooked to order. Decided to try this location for lunch. We were promptly greeted by a nice young waitress who seemed to know the menu items. My wife and I inquired about the steak sandwich. We wanted to know if was sliced steak, and could we get it cooked medium. She said yes. When the sandwich came out, it turned out to be a single piece of steak on grilled rye with carmelized onions and swiss.. It looked and tasted good, but we soon found out it was difficult to eat. There was a good amount of fat and grizzle that was not trimmed off. We had to open the sandwich several times to trim off the fat. After finishing lunch, I asked the waitress for the check and to speak to the manager. The manager did come right over and we explained that the cook needs to cut off the fat, if he is going to serve the entire steak in one piece on the sandwich. Also we were told that it was sliced steak. He was not very sympathetic, and actually told us some patrons like the fat. I then told him some patrons have heart disease too. We paid the bill and even left a generous tip. We will not be returning to that location. read more

We decided to just order Appetizers. Which is cool with me. I would not have eaten an entire meal. The restaurant is nice inside. Haven't been to a Longhorn in a while. So I was glad when we decided to come. I ordered the Firecracker Chicken Wraps. Very tasty. Down side.... they put them on a bed of cold lettuce. Kind of weird. The plate was ice cold too. A baked potato with butter came instead with sour cream. But the worse part was one of our steaks was so tough our knives had reall difficulty cutting it. I saw many low rating reviews about this place. Since I have not visited this place, I like to give them a try. I saw many low rating review during first month of the opening. I hope they have improved when I visit them. We have ordered shrimp and lobster chowder and signature salad to start. The chowder is creamy with small size shrimp that cook for long time. It blend well with the lobster and potatoes inside. The signature salad got good dressing. The most intriguing is the honey walnut with strawberry. Our main entrée are the Grilled Lamb Chop and Flat Iron Steak. I would not recommend flat iron steak since this steak have a lot of tendon. It difficult to bite. A lot of cutting to remove make smaller piece. The lamb chop is nicely decorated. The only complaint is they cook these lamb chop to almost well done which I ask for medium. I also asking for sauce to be on the side which they didn't do. Overall service is attentive. Chef skill on mixing the spice is An "A". But grilled technique need small improvement. read more

It's been many years since I've been to Longhorn. I remember the first time we enjoyed the steak menu and sides. We used to frequent often. I stopped because of bad service at one in a Tampa. We decided to visit this one in Wesley Chapel because this area has grown a lot with new stores, restaurants and malls. To my surprise I was hit with a smelly carpet as soon as we entered, which is a big turn-off for me. There was no wait so we decided to dine there. The food was very good and the server was friendly and handling her area very well even though she had large groups to serve. The portions were reasonable and the food was hot , which I really appreciated. Overall, it's a nice place to go to if you have a urge for a steak dinner, however, I can't deal with eating in a place with a smelly carpet. Restaurants are best designed with tile, linoleum or hardwood floors because of the amount food spills and traffic. If they want to buffer the sound in the dinning area, posting sound resistant wall fixture would be a better choice. read more
