Outback never disappointed (except one time but it's ok!) Food- We started off with some drinks, I ordered the Koala Punch and my Fiancé ordered their Ale. My koala punch was very fruity and sweet that you could not taste the alcohol. Very dangerous indeed! It came with a cute koala duck, I ordered 2 drinks and took home a yellow and purple ducky!! The bread was fantastic, came out fast and warm. We ordered the Bloomin Onion (who doesn't) it was fantastic. It was tender and soft, but crispy at the same time. The sauce was very savory for the onion. Last time we ordered it came out burnt but we got a refund. Next our dinner came out! Me and the fiancé ordered the same exact meal. We ordered the $20 meal, where you choose a soup or salad with an entree and it comes with the cheesecake slice! We got the Cesar salad with the 8oz steak (mine medium rare and his medium well) with some fries. The Cesar salad was delicious, the green was moist and there was some dressing on top wish there was more. The dressing was very tangy, the way I liked it! Our steaks were perfectly cooked to how we liked them! The steaks were juicy, and flavorful. The fries were seasoned and crispy of enjoyment. The cheesecakes were also really good, the raspberry sauce was very sweet and helped add more to the cheesecake! Service- The service was incredible! We had Brianna. When we arrived we were told that it was a 30-45 minute wait but were seated within 25 minutes. When seated Brianna greeted us and gave us time to order our drinks! When it was time, we ordered our meals and she was able to answer our questions regarding the desserts (I have a dark chocolate allergy). She was amazing, she kept our water cups full and even did great with our drinks (she made sure I had a different ducky). She was fantastic so kudos to her!! Ambiance- We came in on a busy night, it was Saturday. It was of course crowded so we had to wait out by the car but even when seated it was loud so we could barely hear much. Went to Outback Steakhouse with my neighbor, it was a busy night so we sat by the bar. Service was good and attentive. The servers wore cute holiday bands making it festive. Our server immediately put in our order for a Bloomin' Onion, which came out quickly and was great. And I love the honey wheat bread they serve here. We asked for two loaves, too good to share! Unfortunately, my steak was not cooked properly and had to be sent back. When it returned, it was overcooked, which was disappointing. The manager came over right away with a friendly and positive attitude think her name was Sharon (love her) and had a new steak prepared, which came out fairly quickly. However, I do feel a new steak should have been provided from the beginning rather than attempting to reheat the original one. And then new steak came out with the wrong side but was immediately corrected. The manager handled the situation well and was very kind and professional. Gosh it has been SO long since we've been to outback! Florida's location is WAY better than the one is Indiana! There's a slight difference in the atmosphere but food and service was just the same. We got the classics of course! Bloomin onions, cheese fries and shrimp on the Barbie or what's now bloomin shrimp. I LOVE their lobster and we always get their fillet mignon. I did notice that the ranch for the salad just isn't the same as the Outback back home but thanks ok Our waitress, Nay was so nice and we appreciated having her as our waitress for the night! Most people would have left by then however, we were going out of town early the next morning and the kids were hungry for Outback. Ordered the steak medium well but it was rare, along with a burnt, sweet potato and spoiled broccoli. When they finally brought my order out to the car thank goodness I checked it because it was missing half the order. A hamburger that was supposed to be medium. It looks like the hamburger was given to somebody else, and they made a mistake, but they just threw it in the box at the end when I asked for the missing item. The manager here is usually on top of everything, however lately, looks like the state of the economy is affecting the other part of the team. In the other day with my friend and her dog for an early dinner and Sat outside got the best service we've ever had there. Because we were outside that was a little concerned they'd forget about us out there but it turned out we had 3 different people waiting on us and make sure we had everything. Our server was Becca and the manager was Connor they treated us so wonderfully we both ordered the same the Sirloin and lobster medium The only thing was the stakes came out overcooked and dry they'd brought us brand new ones cooked perfectly and Just so nice helpful and friendly. Went to this Outback last week with my boyfriend and we enjoyed it! We were able to get a table within a few minutes on Friday night, and our server was great! I ordered the berry sangria, which was really good! For dinner I did the sirloin and lobster tail and it was very fresh and well made. My boyfriend got the espresso butter bone in rib-eye and brussell sprouts and loved it. I sure wish they didn't get rid of the twisted ribs, but will definitely be back! read more

REALLY OUTBACK? I want a refund for the 3/4 cup of soup that is missing from my order. Seriously! We get take out no less than 4 times a week at this location and you can't fill my cup of soup? Add to that, but when I called to ask what the soup of the day was the outback or didn't know. She seem to think that that answer was sufficient so I had to literally say "could you find out please"?.... To which she responded, in sheer amazement, "I guess I can ask someone". She put me on hold only for me to be disconnected. I never found out what the soup of the day was and asked my daughter to just order the potato soup because it's always good. On Tuesday, October 21 at 5;30 PM I had just finished my 5 mile run in Wesley Chapel and stopped at my favorite watering hole, the Outback Steakhouse as I often did since live 2 blocks away. It became the evening n from hell. As I am standing at the bar (I am 6'2" tall and weigh 215 pounds, making me hard to miss). There were also less than a dozen customers at the bar. I am asking for service as the no name bartender continues to ignore me again and again. I soon realized who she was, the "bartender from hell." Twice I had left her a whole penny letting her know er service was terrible! terrible. As God is my witness and the video will show no Manager _was to be found. I decide to elevate my voice and wave my arms! As show she says "I didn't ''t know you wanted something because you were just standing there." I went ballistic and began looking for any of the Managers I knew: Miss Sharon, Miss Jodie, Miss Enole, Conrad and Ken).. Conrad or Ken. On my next visit just this week. I was greeted at the door and taken aken back by Managers Enole and Ken. Were they expecting me I asked. I could only sit at a table or bench and not at the bar. I asked if it was because of my disability being legally blind and he said no. Ken stated it was because the bartender that night had reported me for being loud and out of control during my last visit. I asked who had watched the video yet and they had not. Miss Enoli promised she would get back to me that night or the following day...still waiting. :-( Upset I asked for a table and to speak to Miss Jodie since I knew she was on duty. Now I insisted on seeing Miss Jodie who I knew was on duty. She comes out of the back and tells me she had complaints about me from both the bartender and customers. When I asked who had reviewed the tapes, she hesitated and assumed I did not know of the tapes, then said no one. Angered I left restaurant never to return. It was only now that I see why Outback Steakhouses are closing and have lawsuits against them. I wonder if this is why many customers call it the Outhouse Steakhouse. Miss Sharon knows what that means. Since discriminating against an elder disabled veteran, I now am in contact with the VA Legal Department. Abe Lincoln once said: "No man (or woman) has a good enough memory to be a successful liar." Because of my blindness. what ould have taken about 20 mites to write took me more than 3 hours. Yes I am motivated to write this review so others will know. Only now do I understand your 3.2 rating on Yelp. (My 1 star was a gift!) Finally, Heather is everyone's favorite bartender. She is a consistent "5" star performer! This is her MO: She sees me approaching the bar and has my drink, bread and acknowledge me by name BEFORE I even take my seat. This review is for the Wesley Chapel Outback # 1029 As for the Food, we ordered 2 Filet's one for my wife (rare) and mine was medium. Well, I have to say they both were cooked to perfection. I am 72 years old and have eaten at many Steakhouses' House's in my life and I have never had better than the ones we had last night. I do not want to sound like I am not an expert, however I have eaten a lot of steaks in my life that have cost twice what Outback charged, and they weren't as good as last night's meal. It was GREAT! Service was over the top; our server was Brandon T. We came in well before rush hour and were seated at once. They were busy but still made us feel as if we were the only ones in the steakhouse. Brandon was busy but never too busy to make sure we felt at home. The ambiance was relaxed and warm. It looked as if the whole place had just had a face lift inside. However, that wasn't the case. Just extremely clean and in place. Everything was wonderful, from the greeting at the front door to getting the check. We could not have asked for more. We even met the On Duty Manager Brandon and he even made us feel as if we were family. Wow, Outback has really listed to the customers and came thru beyond expectation. I ordered the boneless ribeye Pittsburgh style...it was too salty, too thin and too much gristle. Very little steak to eat...the thickness was so disappointing as well as the ruined flavor for one of the most expensive steaks on the menu--especially when combined with shrimp that were small, only 4 served. Me and my husband celebrated our two year wedding anniversary at our local Outback! We will most certainly be returning to this location as out of every restaurant I've been to, I have never had as great of service as our server Brandon and Miss Sharon provided us! Brandon was VERY attentive. Never missing a pass on refills etc. He also timed our meal (appetizer, salads, steaks) perfectly. Miss Sharon and Brandon checked in constantly and ensured everything was to our liking. Our food was amazing, I did have a small temp issue on my steak but it was resolved very quickly. My husband had secretly let Miss Sharon know that we were celebrating our anniversary and at the end of dinner we were given a card signed by everyone on shift. Went for dinner last night with some friends. Group of 6 adults. We went online early in the morning and put our names on the call ahead waitlist with an arrival time of 6:30pm. We arrived at 6:15. We were told 15-20 minutes. No problem The actual wait was closer to 45 minutes. And then we were given a booth for 4 to cram into. We were obviously oversized for the table. I ordered the 11 oz sirloin. My friend ordered the 6 oz filet. His steak was bigger than mine. Overall the food was average at best. And very over priced. A bit disappointed to find out that prime rib is only available Fri-Sun. I opted to try the Bloomin' Burger & I upgraded one side for the spicy/hot cup of Chili. The steak fries looked over cooked in old oil, the bloomin onions on the burger was very greasy. I was not going to eat a hamburger with oil dripping all over it. The chili seasoning was too salty; I asked the waitress to replace it with broccoli. I did get a fresh hamburger with the bloomin onions on the side and a fresh side of hot french fries. My company had two lobster tails which was cooked perfectly, with a salad and baked potato. The primary reason for the one star is that the dining area smelled like a dirty bathroom mop. Although this place was not crowded it was understaffed. I was given an incorrect bill because I was charged for two burgers and for an upgrade on the chili I returned. The bill was corrected per request. I suggest they use different mops for the dining room area and the restrooms, also get replace the old mop heads. Waitress should make sure the tab they are giving to the customers are correct, otherwise they could be hoping that we do not catch this. This was at the Wesly Chapel, FL., location at approximately 2pm, on a Wednesday. I will be going to a different location soon to get my prime rib! read more

Never thought I'd give Outback a low review because I love Outback, however, our server, Summer I believe was her name, was far less than superb. I asked for broccoli with my meal and she told me they didn't have broccoli and only had "seasonal veggies". Like okay cool no biggie. Not less than ten minutes later someone was brought their food with, you guessed it, a lovely serving of broccoli. Like why lie and say you don't have it? What made it even worse is I saw someone else have broccoli with them when I left as well. She also did not check on us much despite having the time to stand in the back and talk with her coworkers. It got to the point where after we had left, my family legit asked if this girl had something against me because of how rude Summer was to me specifically. Mind you, she was completely fine to my boyfriend and family. The salads and soup took FOREVER to get there which was disappointing. My family and I made multiple comment as to the confusion on why it was taking so long for such simple items when it was not incredibly busy. We stopped in today for dinner while there was a wait, and the place was packed. We joined the waitlist online, prior to arriving. After checking in, we were seated almost immediately. From there, everything ran like clockwork. We received our food timely, our drinks were never empty, and the service was excellent. The food was good too. We frequent Outback in different cities, and I can honestly say that this was the best experience we've had in quite awhile. A female manager (I thought they called her Sandy?) did not stop walking around to make sure that people were sat timely, tables were bussed, and people were happy...all while maintaining a great attitude. My wife and I went for a late lunch around 3:00. She ordered the salmon and I wasn't wanting much so I had an Outback burger and a wedge salad. The wedge salad was and is one of the best salads in Tampa Bay but the hamburger was a complete disappointment. I know that costs for ingredients have skyrocketed but the ground beef was like it was market grade. Almost every bite had a gristly tidbit in it and I had stringy bits stuck between my teeth that I had to use a toothpick at the table which was rude but necessary. I guess I will get Alice springs chicken or a filet next time. I remember when the that burger was the best ever. I used to go to Henderson blvd at lunch because back then it was the only outback open for lunch and the others didn't have it on their nighttime menu. She claimed someone would contact me to send me something in the form of a gift card/credit it was called something else but no one ever emailed me did so I let it go and stopped ordering. Fast forward to tonight, i decided to place an order thinking they still can't doing orders as badly as they were before. Wrong! Not only was my shrimp was cooked in old oil, it was black and overcooked, hard as a rock, I even recorded hitting the shrimp with my plate to show how hard they were they didn't even break or fall apart. My salad had a lot of brown pieces in it and no ranch dressing was included either and my carrot cake was dry as the drought between my grandmother's legs. Only thing good was the bread which I asked for extra butter and that wasn't included either. So basically I paid $40 for a little load of bread since it was basically the only edible thing I received. I know I can't be the only person getting messed up orders. I'm not even going to bother calling or coming in to talk to anyone because I did that once before and nothing was done about it. I just won't order ever again as it's like throwing money out the window with the horrible food and the horrible customer service. I wouldn't order here as there are so many other better options to choose from that will make your food right. Do better Outback, you've gone downhill! All you have to do is cook your food correctly and make sure items aren't missing in orders before you send them out! You literally have one job and you cannot even get that right. Best Outback I have ever eaten at. Great management, wonderful food, and good bartenders. I ate here 7-8 times in the last two weeks, visiting for work. Shout out to Miss Sharon (manager), whose happy, energetic personality is infectious, and to Heather and Robin at the bar for excellent service. I had the Ahi Tuna appetizer - the tuna was fork tender, and various steak choices, including the filet and the steakhouse salad, with tender and flavorful meat.
