My friend and I came in on a Thursday at 7pm for the Endless Shrimp promotion ($25 per person), but the experience quickly turned frustrating from start to finish. After being seated and placing our order, we waited over 40 minutes with no updates from our server, despite her repeatedly passing our table and checking on neighboring guests. The ambiance was calm and the restaurant was not busy, which made the lack of attentiveness even more noticeable. Although our server was very friendly, customer service requires room for improvement. The food runner brought out our second order and asked if we needed anything else, so I politely requested cocktail sauce and lemons. He never returned. I then asked the hostess as he walked by, but still did not receive them. After about 20 minutes, we finally saw our server again, asked once more, and were eventually provided with what we had requested. Our order also arrived incorrect at one point. On top of that, the food quality was inconsistent. Some shrimp lacked flavor while others were over-salted, and the orzo rice was stale, dry, and flavorless. This restaurant is in need of renovations ASAP! Visited last Saturday for dinner and was with a large party. Service was a bit on the slow side but it's understandable with the party size. Over all the food is ok but definitely not amazing. I ordered the fish and chips and the fish was great but the French fries were not crispy or hot and the meal came with just 2 small hush puppies. The coleslaw was not good at all and drenched in dressing. Caesar side salad was good and had a good portion size. The cheddar biscuits are not what they used to be either, very dry and tasted like they were missing something. Visited the restroom and it was gross. Smelled like it hadn't been cleaned. Why 3 stars? Sadly the location was VERY quiet and only 4 tables of people for lunch. Service was good, staff was friendly. The prices are always a little high but my issue was the food quality. The clam chowder was always a favorite but it seems they have changed it. Salad was old. Pasta had a piece of plastic in it. The biscuits as always were amazing and a saving grace for an old memory. Lobsterfest with dad and sister. The food was extremely filling and delicious. My favorites (after trying everyone's food) were the lobster mac and cheese, the lobster roll, and the coconut shrimp appetizer! I would recommend dipping the coconut shrimp in a buttery sauce instead of the sweet white sauce that comes with the dish. Stopped in at Red Lobster to order 2 lbs of snow crab legs and a side of steamed broccoli. Hayley took our order. We advised her of the gluten allergy and to note it on the order. We were given our steamed crabs after just a 20-minute wait. Apun getting home, We daw rhey gave us Cheddar Bay biscuits eveb though we told her to denote the order as a food allergy. Our crab legs were placed on top of crispy potatoes. We didn't ask for the potatoes at all. They aren't on the menu or the allergen guide, and we could not tell if they were fried or roasted. The whole meal was cross contaminated. Due to this, I couldn't eat any of it, and I did test it with my gluten tester, and it tested positive for up to 20ppm gluten.  Thanks a LOT, Red Lobster. I haven't been here in almost 14 years due to the fact that you didn't have a gluten-free menu. I got a gift card for 10$  when I ordered a gift card for a family member and decided to order snow crab legs, steamed with no sauces bc how can you possibly mess that up? But it was messed up, and it was a simple order at that. Furthermore, the "steamed" broccoli was soaking in butter water. Since when is it somewhat that's steamed soaking in water in the container? I would give this 0 stars if I could. I do not recommend this Rrd Lobster location or any Red Lobster for that matter to anyone, especially if you are a Celiac. If they can't get an order this simple right, there is no hope. I completely wasted 60.00$ on a meal I could not eat, and everything I ordered is naturally free of gluten. I deserve a refund. Is it safe to come back yet?  2-3 decades ago Red Lobster was awesome. Lines out the door with wait times, you often needed reservations, the food was great and reasonably priced. In the last decade, it has become a ghost town with tumble weeds in the parking lot. Why? The food stunk! There were always some "safe" items you could count on but the food quality took a huge hit overall. Satisfaction turned to anger and contempt. Lobster. Wife loves it. The Red was a place we could go to get it. Then, 2 consequetive visits where we spent well over $120 for 2 lobster dinners with soup and salad that did not taste like real lobster, it was more like wet and mushy cardboard. It has been over a decade since our last visit. News came that there is new ownership. So, here we go. Right away, at the door, I knew the lobster option was off the table. The tank was full of baby slipper lobsters. I thought there was a size limit in Maine. Excellent service and a team work environment made for a pleasant visit but the food was very mediocre and the place was nearly empty for Wednesday lunch. The wife had Shrimp 3 Ways and I had the Shrimp and Scallop Skewers. The food was very bland overall. Especially the scallops, broccoli and rice. The shrimp, in all it's forms  was the best feature. I was able to add flavor to my meal by adding the wifes leftover scampi sauce to it. As I scanned the room, the median age is fairly high. The older crowd seems to have been a bit more loyal to the The Red. It was only about $20 per person but I can make it better at home. My date ordered Diet Coke and received regular coke...I opted for water and lemons...finally the food arrived... my sirloin was overcooked which I sent back at this point I asked if I could get the flounder grilled and waiter said they could do that after saying they couldn't...the mashed potato was okay not great but the broccoli was good...my dates fish was very fishy and greasy like it was old sitting in old oil...coleslaw was good but the potato was a mess of salt and covered with everything! And the corn was nowhere in sight!!! I asked for the manager at this point as the whole thing was a bad experience...I finally got the grilled flounder and my date received the corn and a new baked potato...the corn was old as the it was hard to eat of the husk...it was really a terrible experience and I will no longer come to this establishment....the bill reflected the experience as it was vastly discounted...there's too many other restaurants around and this one is definitely off the list!!!! read more

He apologized and got new biscuits himself immediately! BUT THEN! THE WORST PART OF IT ALL! We got our food. I got the choose 2 shrimp combo. I ordered two shrimp scampi's and fries for the side. As I was on my last 3 shrimp i noticed something black on a shrimp I was about to eat.... IT WAS A BUG!!!! I IMMEDIATELY THEW UP MY FOOD, TOLD MY FIANCE I NEED TO GO TO THE CAR BEFORE I SNAP. I don't normally come here any longer however it's my grandmas birthday and we wanted to deliver her food to her at her assisted living facility to help make her day better given we can't visit with the lockdown. Red Lobster makes it so easy to order your food online and pick up at a time you specify. You can choose pickup in restaurant or curbside. If doing curbside you pay online and when you arrive they bring out to you. If you pick up inside, you can choose to pay online or at the restaurant at time of pickup. Arrived and they were not crowded at all. Masks are required and staff is also wearing them. I was immediately greeted by what I could tell was a smiling face from the pickup window. Walked up and she gave me my food as I paid. She made sure utensils were in the bag and the food was already packaged and still hot. Great service today. read more
