Generally speaking, I rarely seek out chain restaurants for dinner. But I was pleasantly surprised with our experience at Longhorn on a Friday night. The staff was great, and although the restaurant has been around for a while, the decor seemed clean with a nicely themed vibe. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. My NY strip steak ($27.99) was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and it was trimmed well without excess fat or gristle. The side salad was decent, as was the loaded baked potato. Nothing special, but certainly filling, adequate sides. My son enjoyed his chop steak, which was rich and flavorful And though the French onion soup broth was a bit thin and too salty with clumpy cheese, overall, we enjoyed our experience. read more

I ordered my steak medium rare, and it was honestly a bit overcooked. I don't have high expectations from a chain restaurant, but it's decent. The sides were a bit cold, but we did have a big party. Service was okay, we waited a while for our drinks to come out. read more

I had the Ribs half slab baked potato and salad and bread. Service terrible waited almost 10 mins for my salad and had to ask another waiter for my salad. Ribs were good and tender first time. I wanted additional bbq sauce. That was another wait. Everyone else seemed to be acknowledged. Third time visiting this location. Ambiance fair. read more

Went on a Saturday night around 630pm. To be expected, they were packed. We were told a 15-20 minute wait and it was spot on. We didn't catch the name of our server, but she was very consistent and nice. From ordering to receiving our food, I would guess it was around 20-25 minutes or so. I ordered the new 7 Pepper Sirloin cooked medium rare and it was amazing. Definitely up there in ranks of steaks I've had from restaurants. The cook and crust were perfect. I also opted for the brussel sprouts as a side, and if you like Brussels but have never ordered them from here, then you're missing out. They were perfectly crispy and the sweetness of the sauce meshed so well. Hubby ordered the steak tips and those were also really good. He's ordered them previously multiple times and each time they have been consistent. Definitely will go back again! My first time visiting a Longhorn was well over 10 years ago and I wasn't impressed, but have definitely changed my mind! read more

Always a great meal here. Had amazing steak tips with onions and mushrooms that were so tender and cooked to perfection. Entrees come with a salad and side. Our server, Gianna, was excellent and always smiling. Great, generous birthday dessert. Lots of booths surrounding the perimeter with tables in the middle. Parking may be difficult depending on time. read more

We ordered take out from here a week ago. First of all, online ordering was not working, so I had to call in, which was fine. Spoke to person at 4:50pm, I was told order would be ready 20-25 minutes. I arrived at 5:20, called to let them know I was there, and was told my order would be out when it was ready??? Fifteen minutes later, finally received it, so that was 45 minutes after I placed order. I arrived back home, only to discover that my medium rare steak was cooked way past well done. So then I called and asked to speak to a manager, stayed on hold 20 minutes, and then was hung up on, 3 times. Finally spoke to someone again, and was told the managers on duty were way too busy to come to the phone and would call me back! Still waiting! read more

My favorite is Flo's Filet - just enough, and good! - I had requested "medium well" for my steak, but it came back raw in the middle - they were quick about fixing that error, and it was tasty. - Wishing that you took reservations - it was a bit noisy at 7 PM on a Saturday, but tolerable. - Terri is the BEST bartender, ever!!! read more

I haven't been to longhorn in a while but when I'm craving steak and margaritas... where else would I go? The new dragonfruit margarita was SO good. I hope they make a long pour version! and of course the steak tips were perfect! We actually started with the spicy chicken bites, which were WAY better than i expected. The sauce is so good & THAT is what I'd recommend to someone even though it's a steakhouse! (also forgot they did bread service. loved that) We got a booth which is so much better than the tables in the middle, where we sat last time. I didn't catch our servers name, she was super quick to get our orders and check on us after it came out. She seemed busy though, which it was.. but she also walked away while we were ordering... (probably our fault because we are just two people ordering as if we were a party of 4) I stopped her to order the last of our sides it just felt kind of rushed but I can't complain because she made no mistakes and it all tasted great! We'll definitely be back and will order everything we did this time. We got there just before 10 PM after doing some Christmas shopping in the area we were greeted cheerfully our party of five which included my two-year-old granddaughter very high strung just an absolute pleasure. This is my second time coming here and I must save this time. Excellent service food everything perfect .. I had the salmon which was really good above my expectations we ordered a fillet, ribeye, lemon pepper, chicken, salads, and sides, all perfectly executed. A nice bottle of Woodbridge. Nice server, Keith, pleasant and professional. Got in at the right time - no wait and choose our own spot to sit. Good meal and happy tummy. While going to my car, outside of the restaurant in the parking lot I got hit by a small child fist size rock on my ankle around 7:46 pm, no clue how it happened thus really put a damper on my perfect evening out. Saw a few young kids up the hill by the restaurant a few minutes later-- oh well. What if it hit someone in the head? That would be unthinkable. There was a hard burnt piece of stem? or even a piece of wood or metal --it was that hard and would have got caught in my throat--inside my sweet potato and then I picked out 4 fishbones from my salmon before I quit trying to eat it. My fiancé and I frequent the Marlborough Longhorn regularly. Last week the hostess Nina was downright rude and nasty to the servers as we were finishing our meal. The manager was nowhere in sight at that time, but I absolutely plan on making a formal complaint in person. Her behavior was absolutely unacceptable as she berated some of the servers saying they didn't "tent" their tables properly. I was horrified at how she was treating them. Nina seemed miserable and perhaps needs to retire or find a job that doesn't involve customer service. I would have quit on the spot. I do plan on addressing this with her directly and her manager the next time we are in. People should never be treated that way. Our server, Chelsea, was professional and top notch as usual. The food was on time, exactly what we ordered and delicious and except for the hostess, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. read more

Excellent food, fast service. Problems began when the server tried to take our plates while food was still on our plates, we were still eating! We were a party of 7 and we were requested by the manager to finish up as other people were waiting! One person still had a full beer! We were only there for 1 hour! Disgusting. First and last time eating here. On 9/1 ~8:30pm I ordered three meals for takeout (NY strip steak, kid's sirloin and kid's chicken tenders). A blonde college-aged girl brought the order out to my car. I thanked her and got no response. She simply told me to "sign the top copy, and keep the bottom one." As I went to hand her the signed copy and her pen back, I thanked her again and without response she essentially shoved the bag through my window and began walking away without me even having a chance to grab it. I got home and my son's "medium" steak was rare, and my NY strip steak which I ordered medium rare was rare at the ends, and raw towards the center. It looked like they seared the outside to leave grill marks and then instantly took it off the grill. There was nothing wrong with the chicken tenders. The sides were the only thing we ate, and tasted very bland. $51 for raw food we had to throw away, and a bad attitude. They sent me a survey after I picked up my order, and I let them know it was horrible. No response as of 9/2. read more

Was there around 1:30 pm on a Wednesday. Ambiance is ok. ( Except the Fan outside of ladies room was huge and a trip hazard) . Coffee was weak , cold and absolutely unable to drink it, had to settle for the One type of Salada tea they had. No milk, he brought a lemon, but I use milk in tea. Never asked me. The salad was given with a dressing I did not ask for-as the waiter didn't bother to ask me what dressing I wanted. The chicken on top was dry , overcooked. Certainly not juicy. We arrived at about 7:30 pm on a Sunday night and were seated quickly. We were in a nice comfy booth that was a bit dark for reading the menu. Even though the restaurant didn't seem packed, our waitress took about 10-15 minutes to greet us and get our drink orders. The drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive and we were finally able to order our meals. I ordered the 9 ounce filet mignon medium rare with a baked potato and vegetable. My boyfriend ordered the 20 oz. steak with the same. Our salads came out quickly but were delivered by someone who looked like a manager. About 15 minutes after we finished our salads, our meals arrived via another manager. My filet was overcooked (warm pink to gray) but I ate it anyway because I was starving. Normally, I would have sent it back, but I didn't want to wait another half hour. That's on me. Both the waitress and the manager asked how everything was and we told them it was fine. I almost felt as though they knew it was overcooked, but hoped for the best (which worked in their favor). One of the things I expect from a steakhouse is a perfectly cooked steak. The ribeye and the filet were very tough, overcooked and way over salted! They did try to work with us and I got a shrimp dish in exchange but it was a disappointing evening, since we went for the flame fired beef. I have since learned you can ask for light to no seasoning, but their high end beef cuts should cut like butter and they didn't even come close! Add to this, it was a busy Saturday night, they should have had their best chefs on, who might not have overcooked two expensive cuts of beef! Longhorn is now my FAVORITE restaurant. The Mac n cheese for kids is super good and the steak, chicken, any type of protein is so good. The cheesecake there is fantastic and the workers there are so kind and generous. You can instantly become friends with the people that work there and it's just the best. read more

This is a restaurant I do want to see succeeded. Been coming here for over 10 years now and the service has always been pretty good. However, the food quality with certain menu items I think has backslid a bit. Either that or I feel that they have been cutting corners. Burgers here were always something to look forward to and we're very fresh now they have a very mediocre fast food quality to them. Chicken dishes are rubbery and lack flavor. Desserts are also mediocre and nothing to write home about. We had ordered curbside pick up about two weeks ago and the server literally shoved the bag right into my face instead of putting it in the backseat like we instructed her to do and she stormed off into the restaurant. I don't care if you're having a bad day or not you do not take it out on the Customer. I am always pleasant and polite and this is clearly the opposite what they have shown me. Please make an effort to do better because I don't want to see this place go or have to go to a different Longhorn. read more

This was my first time at this particular location and with this chain. The food here is absolutely delicious so I would highly recommend trying if you like steak! The reason why I knocked it down one star was because there was a male staff member who was loudly arguing with one of the female servers in the hallway right in front of the bathroom. Now, it wasn't loud enough to the point where we could hear it from our table but if you needed to go to the bathroom, you could hear everything the guy was saying! He was talking about calling HR on this female server and I'm not sure why this wasn't done behind closed doors! No pictures to document this visit, but I wish I could bring this location to me! Stopped in while traveling home from a long weekend. There was tons of traffic on the roads, but this location was the perfect dinner stop. Craving a burger, but not wanting a fast food establishment, LongHorn Steakhouse to the rescue! I've dinner at other locations before, but most recently takeout; it was nice to sit back and relax and have a drink and dinner. We were quickly sat and our waitress, Liz came over not long after, took our drink orders and returned with my personal favorite, bread! The perfect nosh before the main event. I also opted for a salad as an add on to my meal. I decided to get a margarita to end out vacation and ordered the Perfect. Only regret, I should've orders the Long Pour, it was that good. The sweet & sour mix was definitely quality - no artificial flavors. The drink is brought out with a cocktail shaker and the first glass is poured by the server, and then you can fill your glass with the remainder. I got two full glasses out of one shaker. Impressive! The burger was perfectly cooked to my liking too. I am very picky about my burgers, I like a nice medium well burger, judge me! Overall great food and wonderful service. Again I wish this LongHorn location was my local establishment because I definitely would be running back at the next possible moment. read more

Surprising visit for sure. We've been to the Longhorn many times (Marlborough), and aside from an occasional overcooked steak, it's been a good overall experience. Not recently! They have flipped the script! Granted, it was getting busier, the day before Mother's Day, but there was still no wait when we got there. A list of things went wrong. I'll leave out the smaller ones. We ordered an appetizer (the tunion), and it came quickly. The first problem was that it was so salty that it was gross. Once we found the lad serving, he said he could replace it no problem, but it might come after the food. Okay. Yet another tunion one was brought quickly. Great - not over-salted, spiced. As we began eating that, there were unchewable onion peels in several of the deep-fried petals. Seriously... The steak tips I always order were well done, not medium well. Small oversight for me, but the onions were limp, undercooked and saturated with grease. They are usually blackened and done well. These were gross. I felt embarrassed at that point. I mentioned it later, but didn't return them. No concession was made. The waiter responded, Yeah, the tips are usually not like that. I know what you mean, but these things do happen in a less-than-perfect world... Unnecessarily bad experience. read more

This LongHorn was my family's go to for a long time. Staff has always been friendly, and establishment can fluctuate on how busy it is depending on day, time, etc. Regardless of those gating factors they have always done a good job of delivering consistent service. I enjoy that the menu does change regularly with season so there is always some more signature dishes to mix it up with in addition to the standard steak and family fare. I will say for the kids chicken strips they do have one of the better baskets out there. Between here and other chain steak houses, I think LongHorn does a slightly better job of bringing the menu and quality up more then some of the competition. read more

I would say three stars is accurate for this establishment. Never been to a LS before but I always drive by/shop at Hannaford next door. I got the steak tips, contrary to the pics and reviews on Yelp. They was actually delicious, cooked perfect, tender and smothered in onions/mushrooms. Did not disappoint, the baked potato on the other hand was exactly what pics show. Unseasoned skin, dry, cold, unmelted cheese.. instead of "loaded" it should say "Lacking" didn't even eat 2/3 of it. It was a no go. I would of taken a second Cesar salad in a heartbeat because that was as good as the steak tips Decor was nice along with country music, very clean place with very nice staff Our waitress was not good at her job, drink orders was wrong, she dropped our bread and said she would bering more (she didn't) didn't refill any drinks, forgot to bring side dishes for some of the peoples main courses. Personally I wouldn't of left a tip. Didn't matter though because it was a business dinner and I wasn't paying for it. All the desserts on the menu was amazing. For 6 people ordering steaks and desserts, the bill came to $200.. which was reasonable. I will be back for sure with my woman to try some other stuff on the menu. I really wanted a steak and tried to find a local stop. My expressions after sitting at the bar and receiving my menu was the place needed a good cleaning. The bar top was smudged and greasy looking. The restroom was wet and not attended to. Complete turn-off for ordering food. The bartender was friendly, nice, and made a good drink, but unfortunately, I just couldn't get past the upkeep of the place. There are currently too many other options for that area. read more

I have had a torrid love affair with Longhorn Steakhouse for many years. Many years ago, there was my first love, the Longhorn in Boston. Then, years later, the Longhorn in NJ near my office. Now, I have started a new affair with the location in Marlborough, MA. I had been traveling all day, rolled in about 40 minutes before closing and there was only 2 other people at the bar and almost no one in the restaurant. I desperately needed a good meal. I was worried I was going to get lousy service so close to closing at a near empty restaurant in a suburban strip mall. But no! I was greeted warmly by the bartender as soon as I pulled up a barstool. She took my drink order and promptly brought me a Perfect Margarita - which was perfect by the way (booze comes in a shaker and ends up being 2 margs for the price of 1). Longhorn is owned by the same company that owns the Capital Grille, so not only do they have Stoli Doli drinks, but they have excellent steaks. This may be an overly-themed restaurant, but the steaks are no joke. I got the Flo's Filet cooked medium. The steaks come with a salad and a side (I got fries). On top of that, they bring you warm multigrain-type bread with whipped butter - oh so good. My steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. My fries were gross, so I asked for fresh fries. The bartender apologized sincerely and went to the kitchen to get a new batch of fries going - and minutes later, produced a plate of piping hot, brand new fries. Excellent stuff. The bartender did a great job of taking care of me and the food was excellent, what more can I ask? read more

I had a pretty good experience, I would group this with Cheesecake Factory and fridays lol it's just one of those places for the price it is, convenience, it's pretty good. I had the ribeye cut, medium, it was cooked well, the mash potatoes were good. 7.5/10 I had the fried shrimp appetizer that was good as well. The bread was good too! Enjoyed a late lunch today around 2:00pm. Lunch combo options are $7,$8 & $9. I had the $8 combo with a 22oz beer. My combo was a Caesar salad and Steak house burger (1/3 lb lunch size option). The salad was fresh with crunch croutons and shaved Parmesan cheese. The burger was on a soft but toasted bun and cooked medium. It was juicy and very good. The beer was a draft and served in a frosty glass. I tried the new appetizer Sausage and Cheese curds with spicy mustard and pickle chips, The sausage dipped in mustard was very tasty, the cheese curds were nasty. Tasted like they were cooked in the same oil used to fry fish. read more

I know Longhorn is a chain restaurant but honestly, out of any steakhouse, they are my favorite. I always get extra seasoning on my Renegade sirloin (it makes it extra juicy) and cooked medium. Although, the temperature I request is not always met, it's delicious regardless. As we have been ordering out a lot lately during the pandemic, they never mess up an order and have our meals brought out curbside on time (if not early) every time. Staff is very friendly, which is hard to find in these tough times. This is by far my favorite location. I drive twice as far from the Longhorn that's closest to me, JUST to come to this location because they never let me down. I'll update you if it ever happens, but I doubt it. read more
