We took our two younger ones there for a quiet Easter Sunday dinner together. So many interesting things on the menu, we way over ordered. But everything was delicious. We had the pork belly confit, the cheese bread, the octopus, and the parm wings to start. They were all polished off quickly. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed trying our steak and risotto. My daughter and I both enjoyed mixing my son's Yucca mash with the risotto. She practically scrapped my plate clean. We all had our eyes on the pineapple, but all agreed we were overstuffed and will defer to next time. We even had leftovers to bring home to one happy Puppy. Will definitely return!

Always a warm welcome once you arrive, Ember & Alma is not only a place to get delicious food but a spot where you can feel connected and a sense of belonging. Whether you're settling in for a quiet date night or a leisurely dinner with loved ones, the cozy atmosphere wraps around you like a warm embrace. But it's the food and drink that truly steal the show. The menu is a love letter to Brazilian and South American cooking -- bold, soulful, and bursting with creativity. Every dish tells a story of a rich culinary tradition, taking you on a journey from bright, sweet notes all the way through to deep, satisfying umami. Both the cocktail menu and non-alcoholic offerings match this spirit, offering drinks that are every bit as thoughtfully crafted as the plates they accompany. If there's one dish that captures everything Ember & Alma stands for, it's the bananas bravas. Memorable in the truest sense of the word, they are the kind of thing you find yourself thinking about days later, and the reason you'll inevitably find yourself making a reservation to return.

The pizza was cooked perfectly except for one slice, it wasn't raw or anything but it could have used a little more time. Overall we really enjoyed it! Our server was on top of everything, fast and friendly! Fresh decor and an amazing outdoor area! Giving 5 stars, more like 4.5 but I'll round up. Definitely worth a stop to Cold Harbor!!

Got there on a Thursday at 5:30 and could barely park it was so full. I was worried about a big wait but it turns out there was a party in their back room space (that looked amazing BTW). We were greeted and seated right away and our server Olivia T came right over. She never stopped hustling the whole night! Beer was still great, one click off the big boys but noble contenders in the mass beer game. The food was, quite honestly, nothing to look at but the flavor was pretty good. The avocado on the turkey burger looked like it came out of a bottle, but it tasted great. The corn salsa on the burger was also delicious, just wished there was a tiny bit more. Overall, it was another great visit only this time in a wonderful new space.

Ventured off to TNT which was not that far off 290 and easy to return to 495 North. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Large bar and plenty of seating for small and large groups. Lots of TVs to watch your favorite game. World Cup was on. Great menu options. Staters to main courses and full bar. Very friendly server. We had fish tacos and BBQ Chicken flatbread. Did not take too long to see it on our table. OK. I do t usually say this but we were both impressed. The presentation, amount and taste. Off the charts. Well done. I like a hearty pizza that's not soggy in the middle. Mine flatbread was crispy from start to finish and great taste not too much cheese. Fish tacos were well presented and full of taste. The drive out was great. We have to come back again. Maybe next time we pass through.

One bartender took our appetizer order but didn't ring it in for several minutes. After waiting about 20 minutes, my husband asked about it, and we were told, "It's only been in for 7.15 (we ordered it at 7:15 funny enough) minutes." That may have been how long it had been in the system, but it wasn't how long we had actually been waiting since placing the order, which was frustrating. What stood out even more was the management. While we were talking to our bartender friend about the issue, the manager abruptly told her, "Find something to do" in a way that came across as unnecessarily dismissive. At the same time, he appeared to be spending more time chatting with someone I assumed was his girlfriend than engaging with guests or checking on the dining room. During our visit, I never saw him greet or speak with tables or bar guests. I also watched him stop at the service well and stir a cider as though he was trying to create foam--a drink that normally doesn't foam in that way--instead of running drinks or delegating them to the appropriate staff. It gave the impression that leadership wasn't focused on supporting the team or the guest experience. The disappointing part is that the issues didn't seem to stem from being busy--they came across as a lack of urgency and leadership. I hope management takes a closer look at how the restaurant is being run, because the staff and guests deserve better. Both of us have been in restaurant management 15+ years each and can confidently say this was one of the worst experiences we have seen in a very long time
