Stopped in for my favorite appetizer and a glass of wine after a long day. Service was excellent and food was delicious. I ordered a NY strip and loaded sweet potato to go but enjoyed my Wild West shrimp and Merlot. I love LH and will always find a reason to stop in and indulge.

Hubby and I went to this new location for dinner with some friends. We checked in online before getting there. Had to wait another 10-15 minutes which wasn't bad. Hostess and manager was working to get people seated as quickly as possible. They were very inviting and pleasant. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The macaroni and cheese my hubby ordered as a side was really really good, no I really mean really really good. Shrimps were juicy and grilled well. I love mushrooms and ordered a side to go with my steak. They were fantastic. All in all a really great meal with great service from Kel and Josh.

I went to new local Longhorn for the first time yesterday. My wife had been there before and ordered the Salmon Salad again. She said it was awesome. I ordered the Filet Mignon (6 oz) with the brussels sprouts and Caesar Salad. Brussel sprouts were awesome, great flavor. The steak looked pathetic. Half the thickness of any filet I've ever had. I took a bite and it kind of crumbled in my mouth. The server, who had been awesome, with some fun humor, stopped by and asked if everything was great? I said the sprouts are awesome, but I'd give the steak a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. He immediately apologized and got the manager involved. They took it away and the manager asked if I'd like another side since I had finished the sprouts, when they brought out a replacement steak. They brought asparagus, which was cooked perfectly and the next steak was much better. I don't complain much at restaurants and look for the positives. They handled it great so I will definitely be back!

Wow! What an amazing meal!!…read more I arrived on a Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm, and unbeknownst to me, had just beaten the rush hour crowd that was lined up out the door when I left at 1:30pm! This place is a cool, converted house. I was led through the downstairs dining area, up the stairs to the second floor, through the second floor dining area, and into an adjoining room - the "Bar". This was one cool room. It consisted of several comfortable sofas on one side of the room, a few high top tables alongside a bookcase wall, and the attractive dark wood bar that could accommodate about 8 people. I was led to a high top table next to a wall of bookcases with all types of interesting literature, from novels to Encyclopedia Britannica. Almost immediately after sitting down, I was greeted by my server "Bre". She gave me a menu and took my drink order - coffee ($3), black, and a glass of water, TYVM. She returned within a few minutes with my coffee and water. The coffee was very good. For an appetizer, I decided to try their Irish Whiskey Onion Soup ($8), and for my main course, I went with their Cashew Chicken Montagu Sandwich ($15). My soup arrived and the "eye appeal" was only surpassed by the amazing taste! Caramelized onions, Irish Whiskey broth, and with Swiss and mozzarella cheese, this was absolutely, no doubt in my mind, The Best Onion Soup I've ever had!! I was just hoping no one was watching me eating it as it was a bit challenging with the long onions, but truthfully I didn't care because it was so good! My Cashew Chicken Sandwich arrived next, and with a dreadful feeling of an impending "let down" after such an amazing appetizer, I was just blown away after taking a bite of this masterpiece! Perfectly cooked, moist chicken breast with a cashew crust, brie mornay, cranberry-apple relish, on a brioche bun! Did you all see the photo I posted? Just Amazing!! So, after two home runs in a row, I'm thinking to myself, Who can come up with such amazing combinations? I mean seriously, What type of Mad and Brilliant Chef do they have working in the back kitchen?! Ha! (I'm sure the Chef isn't "Mad") I've hardly mentioned the Service, but Bre constantly checked on me, refilling my water twice, and my coffee three times, all the while asking me how I was enjoying my meal. The service couldn't have been any better. My only regret is that I had absolutely no room for dessert and I know it must be excellent Take this to the bank, For one of the best meals you can experience, come to The Goblin Market Restaurant! You can thank me later. 5+ Stars!! Hours of Operation: Monday Closed Tues-Thur. 11am-9pm Fri-Sat. 11am-10pm Sunday 11:30am-3:30pm

From start to finish this place was amazing. Service was outstanding. Supposedly our waiter was…read morerelatively new and I would never have guessed that. Nice selection of beer. Our table shared the Asian Seared Ahi Tuna - Sesame crusted grade A tuna seared rare, sliced over seaweed salad with wasabi, pickled ginger garlic teriyaki glaze & Chinese white sauce which was great. I had to try the Crispy BBQ Pork Belly - Slow roasted sweet & spicy pork belly glazed with house BBQ sauce over sautéed red onion with scallion & julienne pickled ginger, which was a little different than expected. It was more dry and less fatty for an appetizer like this and as unexpected as it was, I actually liked it that way. I also mananged a chicken dumpling soup that was on special. Wow! I could have made a meal out of this one. Heavy, almost like a chowder. I split the main with someone else at the table. We turned the special blackened mahi mahi and the 16oz Boneless Prime Ribeye - Tender, rich & juicy with an extremely smooth texture. Removed from the bone for easy carving, this robust flavored steak eats like butter, into a surf and turf for the both of us. The sides were shared as well. Steamed Broccoli Florets, Smashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, Sweet Potato Fries Drizzled with Honey, and Bacon Roasted Brussels Sprouts. All of which were amazing. It was a lot of food. Took about half home and I believe it was actually great value for the price. For a place in a strip mall that looks like nothing much from the outside, I really enjoyed the complete experience here. Sometimes places that are a little further out of the way end up with higher ratings based on their surroundings. Here, I believe that is not the case and this is a fair rating across the board.

Had a late lunch on a weekday while exploring the Mt. Dora downtown area. When I arrived, clearly…read morethe lunch rush was coming to an end, so I got to sit in the corner. Asked for a water immediately, and set my things down before going to the restroom... which was clean, easy to find, and well stocked, so zero issues there! Hehehe..... When I returned, I had a water and the bar menu as well as the lunch menu waiting for me. I ended up getting the Crooked Can/Frog and Monkey collaboration IPA, which was lovely. I ordered the turkey and brie sandwich, because reading it on the menu outside was what had originally drawn me into the restaurant, and a cup of the French Onion soup rather than getting the fries that came with. The soup was up first, and it was delightful- nice, hardy chunks of onion without being too big/sliding off my spoon, a well developed broth, and a fantastic amount of cheese. The sandwich was lovely, great slices of turkey and decently sized pieces of brie and apple to go along with it. Unfortunately, when I went to get the second half of my sandwich, I noticed what looked like a dark beard hair on it.... as I was dining alone, and my long hair was tied up, definitely not mine. I called over my server, and I pointed it out to her... she asked if I wanted to have a new sammie or get it taken off the bill. I asked if I could pay for the soup, since I had finished it, but not the sammie and she absolutely agreed to that. I wrapped up my meal and left to keep going on my day. Everywhere has issues occasionally, but this was handled well, so I will mention it, and I do knock off a star for this visit, but I am still willing to try again if I am in the area.
