First time at a Longhorn Steakhouse. There was no significant wait time to sit. We sat at a booth and were comfortable. We reviewed the menu and since it's a steakhouse, 3 of the 4 ordered steak - the NY Strip. 1 ordered a full rack of ribs. Each meal comes with a choice of salad (garden or Caesar) and one other side. The steaks were done right. Tasty? Yes. But, not out of the world. The ribs were good and it was a good sized portion. We tried a few side dishes: sweet potato, Mac n cheese, broccoli, and the corn on the cob. These were all good. The dessert was sold as a turtle cheesecake. It's not even close. It's a plain cheesecake with a slight drizzle of caramel sauce and a few broken pieces of pecans. There's no evidence of chocolate at all. Isn't that a big part of a turtle? When I walked in it was pretty full, lighting was low, but we were seated immediately. The waitress was nice and took our order right away. We ordered a few salads for our appetizer and they were fresh as well flavorful. For entrees we ordered a full Rack of Ribs, Chopped Steak, and Chicken Tenders. The ribs had a nice bbq sauce flavor and the meat just fell off the bone effortlessly. The chopped steak was a pretty big portion and the mushrooms/onions were well seasoned which really enhanced the dish. The chicken tenders were crispy and tasted like any average tender. Great location near the airport. It's a pretty spacious space with a nice size bar area. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Our waitress, Ashely A., came right over to take our order. She was very polite and attentive. We started with Sweet Tea and the Blaze Berry Sangria. The sangria was much larger than I expected but it was good. Ok so I admit I have never been to the Longhorn steak house which is a national chain. That said just about the only restaurants in Orlando are chains so when in Rome... The restaurant has that chain like decor. Service was fast and friendly. My tenderloin was tender with more of a prime rib flavor and consistency. I ordered the fully loaded potato and it was fine. My usual favorite is Flo's Filet, it's always cooked to perfection and so tender. On my last visit, I decided to switch things up and try the Renegade Sirloin. While everything else was great as usual, I found the sirloin to be a bit tough for my taste. I'll definitely stick to my usual next time. We sat down about 15 minutes later. The service was good but the food quality was not so good. We ordered the ribeye steak, Flo Fillet, and the stampede for dessert. The steaks were cold as if it had been sitting out for a while before they brought them to us. We let our waitress know and she offered to put the steak in the microwave for us. So let me start - people might look down on a 5 Star Review for. chain restaurant but our meal and service was fantastic. The staff is friendly and the restaurant seemed well run and staffed. We both ordered their Sirloin Steak and it comes with 1 Sade and a Side Salad. The Side Salad was a very nice portion, well made and various dressings to choose from. We selected a Loaded Baked Potato that was prepared very nicely. Our Steak was cooked to perfection. We ordered Medium Rare and it came out Medium Rare. My wife had the 6oz and I ordered the 8oz but would have been satisfied with the 6oz actually but I was hungry. When we were seated, our waiter offered to bring us fresh bread with butter. Dee was our waiter tonight and he rocked it. He knew his craft and did a great job checking on us and his tables. When we come back to Orlando, I would go back for another good meal. I was told to try to Flo's filet and it did not disappoint. A great cut of meat and cooked very evenly to what I would call a true medium rare. It was tender, juicy and flavorful through out the whole steak. The mushrooms and broccoli sides added to it and the Caesar salad was solid with some very delicious croutons. While in town during a long layover, I decided to check out Longhorn Steakhouse near the Orlando Airport. Plenty of parking, nice cool a/c blasting as soon as you walk in, and professional service throughout the dinner service. I ordered the New York Strip cooked Medium along with a Sweet Potato and House Salad. The meal itself was great! Perfectly cooked steak, sweet potato, and grilled shrimp (not seen). The flavors of the steak were perfectly seasoned, the sweet potato was so good! Plenty of brown sugar and butter and to top it off their salads are sooo good! Freshly chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Not to forget their ranch dressing - it's awesome!! The waitstaff was nice. My waitress was very professional and precise. The food came out at a reasonable time and I had zero issues. I really like the way the interior of the restaurant looks.
