Had a great lunch here. Really good lunch deals. Had the 7 peper sirloin steak salad and seafood soup 10/10. It was more than I could eat. My husband got the lunch chicken salad with fries. Service was great our waitress was AMAZING! The hostess that sat us became well....snippy since I requested a table not in the walkway. The issue was every plate (food and finger smudges) and every utensil was DIRTY (encrusted food) to the point we sent them back for new utensils and plates but here's the crazy part those were dirty as well! The carpet was old and filthy and smelled this place looks as if it has not had a thorough cleaning since the 1800's (LOL) Once we arrived and sat down I remembered why I stopped patronizing this establishment. We visited this location in November for a family birthday meal, and 5 out of six of the dinners were over-peppered and cold (each were steaks, sort of what the restaurant is known for). The only non-peppered item was the shrimp dinner my father ordered special due to his dietary restrictions. We decided to try another visit again this week to use a gift card we had received for Christmas and unfortunately had a worse experience than the November visit. Our server (who was rude from the time we sat down) took an incorrectly cooked steak back in a hurry as he was passing our booth when we flagged him down, and instead of listening to what we needed changed with it as he picked up the plate (it was undercooked), he then had to yell across the dining room (at least 15 to 20 feet away) to ask what was wrong with it like we were at a stadium and he was fixing my burger order. Then, as we sat uncomfortably at our booth with everyone staring our way, I took a look around me and noticed several spider webs hanging along the wall and dangling above the booth next to ours. The dust along the shelves and the decorations was very evident too. Just disgusting. As we were just about finished with our meal, we had to flag down the server again for drink refills - we never had a visit from him again throughout the entire meal after the take back steak incident. After sighing a "you're really bothering me" sigh, he finally brought the refills to us, and 2 out of 3 of the drinks were not what we had ordered. The only time the server said anything polite or mannerly was when he brought our check to the table (probably since his knew his tip was on the line). We never had a manager visit our table to ask how the meal went (or we could've said all of this to him directly). We also noticed more than just our table getting restless and upset waiting on food, drinks or their checks there were several people visibly upset with their situations. It's obvious that this Longhorn location needs some personnel changes, along with some deep cleaning and chef re-training. I would not recommend you waste your money or time going there for a steak. It's sad, this used to be a go-to eatery for us, but we'll travel whatever distance necessary to another location to use our gift cards in the future. read more

First walking in it was off peak time 1:20 (Sat) 4-5 employees were just "chit-chatting" with each other not a care in the world. Finally after a good 5 minutes someone ( supposedly the hostess ) ‍ walked over as if we were inconveniencing her day. Noticed right as we walking in, the place as a whole place looked tired, dirty carpets, dirty windows and sills.... Taking our order was really slooooow. Bread came out hard as a rock. Waitress after taking our order never made any attempts to come back, water or anything. After 45 minutes of absolutely no attention, no why is our meal taking so long we got up and LEFT. GRANTED there was only one party of 10 and one other 2 top. This was 2:00 on a Saturday. Everyone seemed to be more interested in checking in on their social media accounts at the kitchen doors than attending to guests. What can they improve on. Saturday March 14th we were in town to see a concert at MGM Northfield Park. Decided to have dinner before the concert. Put our names on the wait list in advance. Arrived at longhorn. The hostess said it would be a 30 minute wait. A high top in the bar area opened up. Hostess said we could have that table if we would like. The table hadn't been bussed yet. I stopped the bartender after we sat down for two menus. Then nothing! No service. No one came to clean the table! No one came to take our drink order nothing! After 30 minutes we left. I'm angry I gave him 30 minutes! Bartender was a white guy with a man bun. I only say this so if someone from the restaurant reads this they'll know exactly who I'm talking about. read more

Went there for my mom's birthday today. We waited 10 minutes at the door before being greeted and sat down. We ordered French onion soup and the spinach dip as appetizers. The soup got sent back as it had no flavor and the spinach dip had to go back to be warmed up as it came out cold. I ordered the Parmesan chicken and the waitress had to take it back as it wasn't cooked and was visibly pink. She never came back to check on us and we had to flag her down several times. I would assume a manager would come speak to us since my meal wasn't even cooked and had to go back. My parents and I celebrated my dad's 70th birthday last night, as this is where my dad chose to go. Amy was amazing by being attentive, anticipating our needs, and assuring everything was to our liking. She provided me the allergen book when I mentioned I was vegan. She also asked if I still wanted the cinnamon sugar when I ordered a plain sweet potato and explained to me it is separate from the butter, which was thoughtful. She was able to list off all the beers available when my dad tried to order one that was not carried. When the bar accidentally made a tall beer, she still gave it to us and noted we would only be charged for the short, which was nice. My mango margarita was so so good also, great portion and great price. Prior to arriving I called and explained to the manager that I had signed my dad up for the email club the night before, but assuming such short notice, did not receive the birthday coupon. She noted it was a big birthday to be celebrating and didn't mind taking care of it for us. I'm not sure if it was the same manager, but when my dad tried to tip $200 it needed to be approved and while at the table she mentioned the surveys, which I'm sure often get overlooked. It was such an enjoyable and memorable night, and since we don't have much family to do a large 70th party like some can, and my brother was unable to join us for dinner, it was still made even better with great food and great service. This review is a little bit late, I went here last Sunday the 8th with my mom before a movie down the street. It was around 2, 230pm. The only small negative was that the hostess never once smiled or reacted to anything that was said. She literally had the same facial expression the entire time. If your job is to greet people like you're glad they are there she failed miserably. She walked by the table a couple of times as well, looked like she'd rather be anywhere but there. Now having said that, our waitress was awesome... wish I remembered her name! She was quick and efficient and the food was perfect. I've eaten steaks on 5 continents, and have had everything from $3.99 steak specials in dives to $300 steaks at high end places. For the price, you aren't going to beat Outback. If you walk into a western themed chain restaurant and get a large, satisfying steak for $16-30 depending on cut, which includes a side, salad, and bread, and have any complaints, then you should consider your life. Service here is friendly and accurate, although on this visit it was pretty obvious that they are understaffed. If you don't like that, blame the President for such low employment that no one can find help, not the restaurant. On 7/2/2023 I ordered dinner for my husband and I. We go there 1 or twice a month usually and have been since Covid began. Over the years the management and quality of the food has changed but nothing that was not able to be fixed. Well this time I am not sure if it is fixable. I ordered a common appetizer of white cheddar mushrooms and it was not in my bag when I got home. So I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager which I have had to do before and reached Belle. She apologized and reassured me that I would get a refund and not to worry. I called again at the end of this past week and she stated that she would call me back when she had sent the email for my gift card. Walked into the Solon, Ohio location to be greeted by a young man who was quite unpleasant. He did not speak, gestured at me as if to ask how many people. I said, two and while he was gathering menus, etc.. the girl behind hostess stand was picking her teeth with what looked like a cocktail pick while twisting her hair with other hand. Her hair clip was clipped to the front of her uniform. The young man walked us back to table threw menus on table and walked away before we were even at the table. The ONLY reason we are giving four stars is our server Jordyn. Jordyn made our evening WONDERFUL. She was an excellent server, pleasant, kept table cleared, drinks filled. Jordyn was fantastic!! We ordered our steaks medium rare, they came rare. We left five bites on plate that was inedible due to amount of gristle and fat. I felt overlooked, embarrassed, and profiled. The following occurred: I sat for 20 minutes watching 5 wait staff walk pass me attend to other guest in the section, not even being offered water . I finally waived down a waitress who didnt give me eye contact and dismissively said my waitress with be with me. THREE wait staff looked at me and offered to serve a glass of water. When I asked for the manager he came over indifferent, aloof and offering very little help and quite frankly looked overworked, tired and uninterested. While the service and drinks were good, the food was mediocre - especially the steak. They apparently can't get a good char anymore, so if you are looking for a Chicago/Pittsburgh/Black and Blue you are out of luck. The sides were fine, but I wasn't there for them. We went there last weekend. A party of 6 at 1pm. The restaurant was slow, but we had to wait almost 15 minutes for a table. When finally seated, it took our server forever to meet, greet and get our drink orders to us. They were severely short handed, but you shouldn't make it a guest problem to deal with. My order came out wrong the first time. I ordered a soup and 1/2 roast beef sandwich. My first bite of the tiny sandwich was nothing but horseradish. I opened it up, and there was only 1 piece of beef on it. We spent just shy of 2 hours there for lunch. The service was entirely too slow.
