Top of vinegar bottle is not clean.

While we had a nice experience, food was OK I couldn't help but notice some obvious things. As you can see in the photos from where we were sitting, there was a table in the back corner with lots of dirty dishes on top of it. This table was there from the time we walked in at 3 o'clock until we left at approximately 4:15. A manager walked over there picked up an item probably needed it for another table.. Asked for oil and vinegar for my salad and look at the top of the vinegar container. Appears it has not been cleaned.

This is going to sound dramatic, but this was the worse dining experience I've had in Austin in a very long time. We came in around 8 and opted to sit at the bar at one of the high tables as we were told it's open seating. We were able to order drinks in a decent normal time then the waiting game started. We finally got our server back 30 minutes in and he took our order. I had ordered a margarita when we arrived, still had not received it. About an hour in. I got my drink. No food. Zero check ins, never asked if we wanted or needed anything, we finally asked if someone could check on our food as everyone around us had received theirs that had gotten there well after us. The server said, "sure." Never came back. At 1.5 hours of waiting we asked for a manager and explained we were going to leave and to bring our check for the drinks. He said to give him a moment and he'd personally check on the food. He also never came back. My friends left. I waited to pay for my drink as I felt it was wrong to not do so. I never saw any food. Two hours later I left hungry after a long day of working and choosing this place for dinner. I was looking forward to my food. And now I guess Taco Bell will get my business. At least in a drive thru they don't act like you're annoying them for trying to receive a service you're paying for. Did not feel welcome here.

It ain't fancy but the service was nice and we got a nice meal. Ambiance is a little dated but wasn't bad. Steaks were grilled well and the sides were tasty. We liked the Caesar salad, fries and baked potato. It was also much lighter on the wallet than a high end steakhouse.

First time to a longhorn the restaurant was nice and clean, classic outdoors woodlands look. The booth we had was cozy and comfortable. Restrooms were clean as well. All the food was good except the baby back ribs. The ribs were burnt to much it was a strong smell and taste of char for us. The rest of the food the bread was warm and soft. Shrimp well seasoned not greasy, salad tasty, tossed well not wet right amount of dressing. Mashed potato creamy and savory. Steak cooked perfectly nice sear and seasoned well. Sweet potato was hot and soft tasted better with the cinnamon and butter. You should offer Texas honey as a side as well just an option lol. The service was great our server was Melanie G. She got us everything we needed and came by checking on us many times. For a causal steakhouse it was better than some others out there. Will be back again.

The bartender was friendly. The bar wasn't crowded but there is not a HH. They did bring a loaf of bread with butter. That was the best part of my time here. The wine was overpriced. Hello and goodbye Longhorn Steakhouse- at least for happy hour.

Once again a delicious meal. For food the lady had her usual filet and baked sweet potato while I had the chopped steak with rice. The service provided by Chris was perfect. This was the first time we've been able to go out and it was a great experience. Nice quiet ambiance at lunch.

Why chain restaurants tend to have not-so-great Yelp ratings is beyond me. Maybe quality control is tough at a massive chain? My boyfriend was craving steak so we ended up here for dinner. First off - you can get a full steak dinner here for $15-40 dollars. That is UNHEARD of! I also appreciate the calorie counts posted on the menu :) Second off, that bread is crack. Our lovely server placed it right on the table as soon as we walked in. We happily devoured 3 loaves of the fluffy, warm, bread and spreadable whipped butter. Onto the food - We ordered the lobster shrimp soup ($5.99 a cup) - it was tasty, quality was alright and it had tiny pieces of pre-frozen shrimp, but again, it's a $6 cup of soup. We also ordered the Flo's 9 oz filet ($30.49) with a side of loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. The steak is juicy and delicious. Our first steak came well-done instead of medium. Our second steak came rare so they put it back on the grill for us - third time was the charm! I get it - steak temperatures are tough and they were busy. What we most appreciated was the effort and attention to getting our meal right :) The interior actually feels sophisticated and dare I say, high end. Though it is casual. Our server was amazing, I really wish we got his name. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us.

I ate here for lunch and it was amazing. There is a special lunch menu with reduced prices. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken. When I have eaten this elsewhere, the chicken might be 1/4" thick. Here, it was 3/4" to 1" throughout. The lunch entrees come with one side, with many to choose from. A side salad could be had for $1.49, which I went for. Finally, great service by Megan.

Ordered chicken fried steak. Came with no gravy. This is a Caesar salad. Lettuce and room temperature Caesar dressing with a lid that's gonna pop from being spoiled. Don't eat here. Waste of a gift card

The staff is super friendly- they'll talk to you about the menu while in line, update the board on what's still available if you go later in the day. And they have a whole menu of "anytime eats" that you can order directly from the bar without waiting in line. Been here three times. From the "anytime eats" menu, would highly recommend the chopped cheese brisket sandwich- absolutely divine. On Thursdays they do chicken fried steak which was VERY good- but I found myself wishing I had just waited in line for action bbq. Onion rings are some of the best I've had. And the cornbread is a next level version that beats out fine dining restaurants attempts- hands down. For bbq, I've had brisket, sausage, pulled whole hog, and Tri tip. I think the Tri tip is a sleeper hit here- it was melt in your mouth tender and still had that wonderful smokiness. The brisket was.... Brisket. Very good. Great bark. Didn't really stand out, IMO. But it was what you hope for with brisket. Sausage as well- very good. The pulled whole hog rivaled the best of the Carolinas. Smokey, tender, rich. Just delicious. And I guess this is what surprised me most- how two bbq dishes from different regions (CA for trip tip and NC for whole hog) stood out as excellent dishes here in Texas. Where many of the bbq spots here really focus on the brisket as the star- it can feel repetitive between all of the famous spots. But at L&L, all of their dishes are done to excellence and they have put their own twist on. As their slogan says, new school barbecue with old school service. Can't wait to come back.

La Barbeque was listed in the top 4 on Yelp for the city of Austin so we decided to go with it. We flew in and ubered straight to it. There was a line down the front of the building on to the sidewalk and around the corner. That is a good sign for BBQ. While standing in line a guy walked by and said they give you free beer. My husband was curious and went to the front of the line and found out THEY DO! Each person over 21 is provided 2 free beers while waiting in line to get your food. What a great perk and sets them apart from other places that you just wait there forever. When we arrived (it was 2pm on a Saturday) they were already out of all sausages and the beef ribs. Not a huge deal, but I did want to try some sausage. Oh well, I guess that means I have to go back... We waited for about 45 minutes and 2 beers later we are walking in the door. Cute, small place but does have seating inside. Thank goodness cause that Austin heat and humidity was getting to me. The guy that was handing out the beer cut us 2 pieces of brisket to try. OMG!! It literally melted in my mouth. I have never had such tender brisket in my life. So of course, we got some of that. We got 4 pork ribs and got the last ones, mac n cheese that was amazing, spicy pickles, and potato salad that was really fennel forward. If you like fennel it was delish! I was using a plastic fork and the brisket fell apart like butter. It was amazing. Between the excellent service and the killer food, we will be back for sure. Best BBQ I have ever had.

Loro is an Asian smokehouse and bar featuring grilled and smoked meats with Southeast Asian and Japanese-inspired sauces, sides, and a bar that boasts craft beer, boozy slushees, and batch cocktails. Parking at this location is a bit of a challenge. They have overflow parking in the back but the spots are really small. We sat at the bar area and worked our way through cocktails, apps, and dessert. We opened a tab and the bar staff takes your order which is convenient, versus how you normally have to order by waiting in line at the bar. The bar staff was extremely busy because they have to make all the cocktails and take the line orders at the bar. They are a master of multitasking. It was $3 martini night on Tuesday, so was excited to sample the four different drink options. lychee martini, Mexican martini, and Lucky Cat cosmo martini. Lychee martini is made with new amsterdam vodka, sake, elderflower, Mexican martini with espolon blanco, olive, yuzu, lime and cosmo with vodka, blood orange, naranja, lime. The lychee was hands down my favorite of the three. We started with the Dip Sampler that included a trifecta of smoked shishito queso, smoked salmon dip and Thai green salsa with the Siete blue corn tortilla chips. We went through the chips quickly and got a second round of wonton chips which I preferred to the Siete chips. Tried the Mango Chamoy frozen Slushee with Siete Chamoy Botana Sauce & Siete Chile Lime Seasoning Rim, passionfruit, Aperol, Sake and Sparkling Wine which was refreshing. All their boozy slushies are $5 during happy hour. Ordered the oak grilled edamame from the happy hour menu and it was a flavor explosion with a dusting of serracha powder, lemon zest and white sesame. They normally served this with Bavette, but the steak was a bit tough and chewy this time. Finished everything off with cheesecake with five spice crumble, yuzu marmalade for dessert. The vibe at the bar was relaxed and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the collab menu felt creative without trying too hard. The ingredients are very thoughtful for a fully developed flavor profile. Just what I would expect from the culinary minds of Tyson Cole and Aaron Franklin.
