Wow. Usually love coming here. But. Tonight was different. Greeted nicely. MJ at the host stand stand was epic. Happy. Nice. On point. Server Pradeep is stellar! Not sure there are many servers in the world as kind as him. Incredible. My wife and mom ordered Flo's Filet. 6 0z. Medium. My wife's was excellent. It was a filet. Thin pink. Slightly charred outside. Tender. Perfect. Mom's. Gray. Pale. More tough. A top sirloin. No pics. Sorry. But. Definitely not the same steak. At all. Braulio the mgr came over. Looked at the steaks. Stated there was no way meat could be mixed up because they use skewers on outgoing steaks. Weirdly, there were no skewer markers in our steaks in the three steaks we ordered. He semi-apologized and conveyed the least amount of empathy ever witnessed. He still denied the wrong steak was delivered. He offered to send out another filet. But, an 86-yr-old lady can only eat so much. She ate 1/3 and was over it. At the very least, the mgr could have said "So sorry. We sometimes make mistakes. Let me down-charge you to a top sirloin." It's ok to admit the kitchen maybe, possibly, might have made an error. And that's ok. But to say there was no error, you are doing a disservice to customer service. Heck. If he had even offered a $10 gift card for a return visit, I would have been impressed. See. It wasn't the point of being delivered a wrong steak, it was the point that the manager denied it. I never do this, but I took pictures of the floors. Oof. Never seen this before. Trash. Food chunks. I showed Braulio, and he couldn't have cared less. He said "Ok." Great experience, great food, worth a visit and a return for more. Let's start at the arrival. Plenty of parking, and it's free! Greeted at the door upon arrival and because we were mid-afternoon diners, we were seated quickly by a friendly host. No sooner did we sit and our waitress was there for our drink orders (and appetizers). Menu is large enough for all eaters, but not overwhelming. Fish, chicken, steak, pork all available, including salads. We went withe the shrimp appetizer, and were we surprised when the portion was HUGE! Certainly shareable among more than just two diners, and they were really good. We went for the ribs, we were in a mood for barbecue, and they did not disappoint. This place for me is a little overrated their meat. Both times I have been here was dry not have much flavor. I've been to other places that I've had way better. The wait is always crazy and then the price is ridiculous for me. Personally, I wouldn't recommend there's so many other better places that you can go to. Updated review: Food is okay. Service is good. The atmosphere has dim lighting but is decorated very western. We had a strawberry salad with a sweet potato side as well as the cheeseburger lunch with baked potato as a side. The strawberry salad was good. For the price of the salad the portion was quite small. I asked for no butter on my sweet potato and to have the butter on the side. They had put the butter on the sweet potato and then took it off the sweet potato and put in a bowl so the potato came with some butter already on it. The sweet potato was extremely overdone and mushy. It was not enjoyable at all. The cheeseburger was ordered cooked medium and came out as medium rare to rare. It had to be sent back and a new burger had to be brought out. The food was good and longhorn is a place you can go to have a quick lunch. I love this place, from the time you enter you are treated so well! We got here early 11:45, and I am so glad we did, because when we left that place was popping, with a line out the door (worth it). The waiters/waitresses are so friendly and funny! Drinks were never empty (thank you for that) and that's usually a problem for a large group of 13. We were split into two tables but we were back to back so it was perfect. The steaks we ordered were grilled to perfection! I had never been here before and assumed it would be like black angus, or another chain steak house. Well that is not the case.... NOT THE CASE!!! This steak was better than the steak I had at flemmings. I could taste the char on my rare steak and that's what I like to see on a ribeye that's grilled rare! Baked potatoes are usually a disappointment, their either day old warm ups or just overcooked and you see the discoloration near the skin, NOT THESE ONES, these are beautifully coated in a olive oil and salt, then baked to perfection. The insides are soft and fluffy, and don't leave the skins, they're equally tasty. You get two sides, don't waste it on a salad, get their chili, it is outstanding! So packed with meat and bold flavors like a real Texas chili NO BEANS!!! You can't go wrong with anything in this restaurant. Stuffed mushrooms were absolutely amazing! All the food tasted amazing! Unfortunately, something I ate on my plate made me sick and gave me the runs. I took home half of my food. After a little recovery I ate my leftovers and it reset me having the runs again. Service was mediocre just the typical order taking and how's the food. Really cute spot for date night. Love Longhorn Steakhouse! I was so excited to see it by our Hotel in Temecula. We used to go all the time when we lived in Florida. I hope they open some in Orange County CA since Outback sucks!! Came here for dinner for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, it looks like a formal steakhouse, but very casual and informal inside. Longhorn was definitely delicious. Had been wanting to go for a while and it did not disappoint. The parm chicken, the corn, and the shocker was the steak. I'm not a big steak eater but the ones I have tried lately have been more expensive steaks at literally triple the price that they cost here. This steak was a strong contender against those! My son took me here for Mother's Day at my request since 90% of the time I've gotten a great steak. I ordered a sirloin steak, medium rare. When it came it was obvious that the steak had been pan-cooked but had not been finished in the oven. It was raw inside so I sent it back for more cook-time. The manager brought it back and waited until I cut into it again. It had obviously been thrown back into a pan for another minute or two but still never made it into the oven to be cooked properly. When I expressed my disappointment, she said, "If you want it done medium, just let us know" then walked away. I'm leary about returning or recommending Longhorn to friends. Experience: alright experience. I came in on Friday at 7pm with a party of 6 and didn't wait long. I called in the afternoon to get added to their waiting list. We ended up being a part of 7 (a child joined us for the night). They took us to our table, and there was a it of an awkward moment as we needed an extra seat, so I had to hunt a chair down--no major problem. The food itself was okay. went to the bar and had a great experience ordering and receiving a takeout which was $40 worth of... well... a waste. I got home and was going to share my parm crusted chicken with my daughter. I took one bite out of my chicken and pulled a long black hair out of my mouth, which was baked under the cheese on top. we are blonde people so I know it wasn't from us. disgusted, I spit it out and couldn't stomach eating anything after that. The appetizers came out and were outstanding (which is always my indication in finding out whether the main course will be good or not) For my main course I personally had myself a New York Strip steak that was off the wall Plenty of people use A1 sauce for their steak but you know the steak is done right when you don't need anything but the juices that come out of that steak! The sides I ordered were mashed potatoes and asparagus - both seasoned well. The service was outstanding and the ambiance reminded me of being invited to someone's tight and cozy house. Stopped in on a work trip. Had the salmon plate, and Caesar salad with Ice Tea at the bar top. Bartender (she, bling hair) was very nice and attentive. I ordered the Lemon Garlic Chicken with a baked sweet potato and strawberry pecan salad. The salad and sweet potato were delicious. Unfortunately, the lemon garlic chicken was extremely salty. Been here two weekends in a row after a day of wine tasting and we've always left satisfied and on a good note. Both times, we walked in without reservations and we didn't have to wait to get seated. It must've been the timing because there were a lot of people dining in. There were 4+ people in our party. We were warmly greeted and the servers we had were friendly and helpful. I love Longhorn's lunch special. But DO NOT use curbside to go. You see the bartender is responsible for bringing out your order, and it seems to be a real inconvenience. I waited 15 mins after checking in on the link they sent. As instructed by the signage after waiting I called the phone number #3 for curbside to go. Nobody answers this line instead you listen to phone tree music while you hold. After another five mins. I finally rather then waiting for my food to get cold I walked inside. The hostess was less than cordial and said that to pick up a to go order I needed to go to the bar. What's the point of curbside to go if I have to come into the restaurant and get my order from the bar. When you order curbside to go, it automatically adds a tip. As I was waiting, I spoke to the new assistant manager, who quite honestly could have cared less. His response to me was "I'll let the people know that are involved in that area". Moronic. true to form my order was bagged up and sitting in a side area next to a printer getting cold. My take is Longhorn has great food at a reasonable price, but the service is lackluster and subpar for restaurant of that caliber.. Side note: as I was leaving the restaurant, a woman had parked next to me in the curbside to go and had been sitting there almost as long as I had. My wife and I were on our way to Pechanga Casino and resort. We found the Longhorn steakhouse in Temecula. The menu was very similar to what we used to have in Seal Beach. We started out with a warm loaf of bread and creamy butter, which is complementary. For an appetizer I had the Loaded Potato Soup a Creamy potato soup loaded with smoky bacon, aged yellow cheddar and fresh green onions. It was amazing. I asked for some Tabasco sauce to spice up the soup. It was amazing. For my entrée. I ordered my favorite a 10 oz. of fresh ground beef loaded caramelized onions. This seasoning they put on the beef is amazing and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was divine. My wife ordered a Caesar Salad , Hand-chopped romaine tossed in in a blue cheese dressing with croutons and shaved Parmesan cheese. it was her favorite from before. For her entrée she ordered was a Renegade Sirloin Lean and hearty center-cut top sirloin generously seasoned with our signature Prairie Dust™ and grilled to perfection exactly as ordered. Her favorite side was a Freshly baked sweet potato loaded with cinnamon sugar and butter. She had them hold the cinnamon sugar and just have lots of whipped butter.
