We first visited Siggy's about 23 years ago. This review is way overdue. Siggy's features a large menu with several options breakfast, lunch and dinner. Portions are big and quality is of the highest for a fast food establishment. We ordered their famous pastrami sandwich, Greek salad, and fries for our dinner last night. The pastrami was piled high and the huge roll was soft and fresh. The sandwich was outstanding. The Greek salad was also large with plenty of olives, feta cheese, cucumbers and even came with pita bread. The fries were both plentiful and flavorful. Siggy's has served Temecula for years and there is a reason this place has survived while others might struggle. Good quality food, fantastic service and a menu that has something for everybody. The Vanilla Crème coffee was my favorite! You never see restaurants offering Vanilla brewed coffee so that was a very nice surprise! Food is ok. Prices are great. People taking your order all are unfriendly and have rbf. They like hate their job and being there. Doesn't inspire a return. Asking for tabasco because it not readily available like the A1 sauce causes you are bothering the staff. The you hear their banter between each other. It's hit or miss with this burger stand. I do like their salads, when they're fresh. But have been times I got one or two with wilted, brown lettuce or hard stale carrot pieces. Honestly, price is also a factor. They're a little higher than most hamburger stand drive thru's but keeping in mind Temecula area prices are higher. For that, I would hope the quality would measure up to that. It falls short. Service is Ok, it can get slow during rush hours like lunch or dinner. First time at Siggy's and we bought dinner for 4 people. My husband liked his Steak sandwich and my dad liked his burger. My mom's taco salad was really soggy but mostly edible. We used the drive through to fulfill a request from our 6 year old grandson for chicken tenders and fries. Being the doting grandparents we happily obliged. We've gone through the drive through many times in the past and we've been always served by the same young man. He is consistently friendly, efficient, and accurate. We have never had any problems with anything missing from our orders. Wish we could remember his name. I will be sure to add it the next time. It is evident by the quality of his service that he takes pride in his job, which is rare these days. I'm still trying to find a good vegetarian "burger" option and it's safe to say that this wasn't it... but it wasn't bad, I ate about half. I placed an order online and decided I didn't want to go in to pick it up so I rolled through the drive thru. They allowed me to grab it that way and said it was fine in the future as long as they weren't busy. As for the rest of the food, the fries weren't crispy so I didn't love that but the fried mushrooms were great! We had breakfast at Siggy's in Temecula this morning after not having been there in quite some time. The last time we went, our food was not very good so we said we wouldn't go back, but today we were looking to kill time while we were in the area, and decided to give it another try. I had the pork chops breakfast which came with hash browns, eggs, and toast. My husband had the carne asada breakfast which also came with the same. The eggs and pork chops were okay, but the hash browns were burnt, mushy, and bland. My husband did not finish his carne asada because he didn't care for it at all. He also had a glass of water and it had an odd smell. We agreed this was the last time we would eat here. My husband said even IHOP would be better. I've been coming here for decades. The food does not seem as fresh as it used to be. It seems like shortcuts are being taken: pre-cooked bacon, a slice of cheese plopped on omelettes and grilled cheese sandwiches,.... Big servings though. Prices have been raised more than seems necessary based on current egg prices. A $3 increase for two eggs is excessive. I wish they wouldn't play Fox News, especially in the evening when the "opinion" broadcasters are dishing out snarky content. This was the most horrifying experience! We have come here for years! Today I got black iced tea and when I put sweetener in and stirred this slime developed. I pulled my straw out and it was full on all over. The most disgusting thing I've ever experienced over the years of eating out. Before I had the thought to take a photo my husband got up to tell someone. They took the cup like it was no big deal and then one of the servers threw it out. Yep threw it out. Didn't say sorry. When our food was brought to the table it was brought with disdain and dirty looks. Why are we getting dirty looks? Are we responsible to clean your machine? No we're not. As we sat and ate the surly large built lady continued to give off her bullying dirty stares. The anger is a bit misplaced lady. We didn't cause a scene but thinking we should have. Something said to me try this place... so I did. It's a typical little diner/dive. Good old frozen burgers on a flat top grill. I am not mad at it at all. It's tasty. It's expected. What I didn't expect is this place was clean inside. Smelled clean. Looked clean. The owner guy sitting in the booth facing the kitchen and watching the workers work. Haha it's is what it is right? Again kind of unexpected but expected. Hear me out. These guys were good. The ranch is that hand made stuff that all diners have that we wish we knew how to make but always get it wrong. He gave me the total and I asked to pay with tap ( I have paid tap every time I go through the drive thru never having an issue) he very rudely snapped back "I can't do that" I kindly explained that I have done this many times he again "no, I can't do that" ok so I hand my card to him. He comes back to hand me my card and I asked for his name he rolled his eyes and slammed the window. A female opens the window and hands me my order. I love the pastrami sandwich here! I get it without mustard and extra mayo. It's really filling. Whenever I feel like something different than the mcdonalds or taco bell, this place is such a better alternative. Sometimes I get the zucchini sticks or other sandwiches they have.
