Pick-up orders should be simple......check the list, bag the items, done. Ours was missing five things. If you're offering to-go orders, please make sure they're complete before sending them out. The food is ok when it's Togo. They still didn't follow order instructions...... who puts onions on sweet potato? We never ask for that. The Brussels were bitter this time around. We have gone to the Long horn in Temecula CA several times and always had quality service. However on 24 July 2026 that quality service was NOT THERE. My wife and I both ordered the Long Horn Porterhouse, bake potato and steam asparagus. We wanted our steaks cooked medium well. The asparagus looked like shoe strings and your could not even chew them. The steaks were under cooked and we ask them to take the steaks back and cook like we wanted. We also asked to have the asparagus taken back and give us steam broccoli as a replacement. When they brought my wife's steak back it still was not cooked right. They also charged me for both steamed broccoli which is a normal side. The quality of the ASPARAGUS was not very good at all and should not even have been offered as a side. Been here two weekends in a row after a day of wine tasting and we've always left satisfied and on a good note. Both times, we walked in without reservations and we didn't have to wait to get seated. It must've been the timing because there were a lot of people dining in. There were 4+ people in our party. We were warmly greeted and the servers we had were friendly and helpful. We ordered and the food came out in a timely manner. Our steak and seafood dishes were seasoned well and absolutely delicious. And cooked as ordered. Temperature and texture of food on point. We were being treated to a steak dinner and opted to come here vs some more expensive places. My wife and I were on our way to Pechanga Casino and resort. We found the Longhorn steakhouse in Temecula. We used to go to the Longhorn steakhouse in seal Beach when it was there and we loved it but they closed 15 years ago. We came for lunch on the way . The Restaurant was beautiful. The menu was very similar to what we used to have in Seal Beach. We started out with a warm loaf of bread and creamy butter, which is complementary. For an appetizer I had the Loaded Potato Soup a Creamy potato soup loaded with smoky bacon, aged yellow cheddar and fresh green onions. It was amazing. I asked for some Tabasco sauce to spice up the soup. It was amazing. For my entrée. I ordered my favorite a 10 oz. of fresh ground beef loaded caramelized onions. This seasoning they put on the beef is amazing and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was divine. My wife ordered a Caesar Salad , Hand-chopped romaine tossed in in a blue cheese dressing with croutons and shaved Parmesan cheese. it was her favorite from before. For her entrée she ordered was a Renegade Sirloin Lean and hearty center-cut top sirloin generously seasoned with our signature Prairie Dust™ and grilled to perfection exactly as ordered. Her favorite side was a Freshly baked sweet potato loaded with cinnamon sugar and butter. She had them hold the cinnamon sugar and just have lots of whipped butter. All the meats were cooked exactly to order. Our server Cat was amazing and gave extremely exceptional service. Longhorn was definitely delicious. Had been wanting to go for a while and it did not disappoint. The parm chicken, the corn, and the shocker was the steak. I'm not a big steak eater but the ones I have tried lately have been more expensive steaks at literally triple the price that they cost here. This steak was a strong contender against those! Absolutely HORRIBLE! We ve been Longhorn fans for over 20 years and loved the Temecula restaurant since it opened but the last three years it has gone from five starts to one! This must be either an owner or manager issue or the staff is just super incompetent. We ordered ribeyes and were given New York Strip steaks and the 20-something waitress guaranteed us they were ribeyes. After 50 years of cooking and eating steaks and 20 eating Ribeyes steaks at Longhorn we know the difference. Steaks were way over cooked...both well done! Baked potato sloppily prepared. Highlight of the meal was the drinks. Not a good sign! Staff lounging around joking llike the boss or manager was off on vacation without a competent backup. We've seen this before and seeing the parking lot that used to be full and a line outside on evenings to now half empty and open seats at rush hour means a restin decline! Never thought A Black Angus or Sizzler would put a Longhorn to shame but the Temecula location has accomplished that feat! Handwriting is on the wall and this Longhorn's days are numbered! Claim Jumper was on the other corner and had a great run until it also fell into the same trap...bad management, incompetent staff, and a complete collapse of food quality and service! After 20 years of loving Longhorn...last night was our absolute last. Texas Roadhouse coming to Temecula soon! Longhorn has seen its last rodeo...and is headed for the glue factory! The steaks were good. The service was ok. The atmosphere is excellent. It was a bit loud but it's the holidays. I especially enjoyed the brussel sprouts. I love this place, it has become a holiday tradition to come have dinner at Longhorns. The staff are all dressed up in Christmas sweaters and it feels festive inside. One of my all time favorite cocktails is at this place, it's called the dragon fruit margarita. Longhorn is solid. My wife says the ribs are some of the best that a restaurant makes. I usually go with the ribeye or surf & turf. Sides are nothing special. But in my experience they do a good job of cooking steak to your liking. We do prefer this over Texas Roadhouse. We like to sit and eat at the bar. The dining area does feel a little cramped in my opinion. Parking can be a challenge when they're busy. read more

My son took me here for Mother's Day at my request since 90% of the time I've gotten a great steak. I ordered a sirloin steak, medium rare. When it came it was obvious that the steak had been pan-cooked but had not been finished in the oven. It was raw inside so I sent it back for more cook-time. The manager brought it back and waited until I cut into it again. It had obviously been thrown back into a pan for another minute or two but still never made it into the oven to be cooked properly. When I expressed my disappointment, she said, "If you want it done medium, just let us know" then walked away. I'm leary about returning or recommending Longhorn to friends. I brought it to our server Mary B attention when she asked how everything was tasting, she apologized and offered a replacement, to which I declined. I had lost my appetite. Mary B. advised me that they do heavily season their food, it's in their tag line "boldly flavored". When I shared it was our first time trying the restaurant her suggestion was in the future I should request "lightly season". I am still not sure how I feel. We really enjoy the lunch specials they have at Longhorn steakhouse. They run from Monday to Saturday 11am-3pm and it's a great deal. They have 5 options ranging from 9.99-11.99 with choices like a cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, steak salad, chicken and strawberry salad, and soup and salad. You get to pick a side and the portions are filling. You get also a little loaf of the brown bread with butter. Whenever we go on a Saturday it's usually pretty mellow if it's before 2 pm, then it's starts getting busy. Ambiance is like a western steakhouse and our service has always been good. read more

Honestly, I'm really disappointed. I had been looking forward to dinner here all day. I'm visiting from NYC and have dined here several times before, always leaving impressed--which made tonight especially frustrating. While I understand the long weekend may have caused delays, we were told the wait would be about 20 minutes, and we ended up waiting over 35. I didn't mind too much at first--I've always felt the food was worth it, and I even convinced my family to wait it out. But what really soured the experience was the service. It took 35 minutes just to get a glass of wine, which I only received after the salads were served and just before the main course arrived--and only because I asked. When I mentioned that I was really looking forward to enjoying the Caesar salad with my wine, the server gave me attitude, seemed dismissive, and walked away quickly. She wasn't attentive or warm, which made the experience even more disappointing. To top it off, the food was surprisingly subpar. I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye, which has been a favorite of mine in the past, but this time it was bland and poorly seasoned. My sister's burger was also overcooked and burnt, which just added to the overall letdown. I love Longhorn's lunch special. But DO NOT use curbside to go. You see the bartender is responsible for bringing out your order, and it seems to be a real inconvenience. I waited 15 mins after checking in on the link they sent. As instructed by the signage after waiting I called the phone number #3 for curbside to go. Nobody answers this line instead you listen to phone tree music while you hold. After another five mins. I finally rather then waiting for my food to get cold I walked inside. The hostess was less than cordial and said that to pick up a to go order I needed to go to the bar. What's the point of curbside to go if I have to come into the restaurant and get my order from the bar. When you order curbside to go, it automatically adds a tip. As I was waiting, I spoke to the new assistant manager, who quite honestly could have cared less. His response to me was "I'll let the people know that are involved in that area". Moronic. true to form my order was bagged up and sitting in a side area next to a printer getting cold. My take is Longhorn has great food at a reasonable price, but the service is lackluster and subpar for restaurant of that caliber.. Side note: as I was leaving the restaurant, a woman had parked next to me in the curbside to go and had been sitting there almost as long as I had. I told her she was probably better off just going inside and getting her order. She said that last week she waited 45 minutes until she went inside and got her own order. Living in Vegas we no longer have access to Longhorn, so we decided to try it on our latest visit to Temecula. I recommend checking their website where you can get on the seating list ahead of time. This worked great for us and resulted in virtually no wait once we actually arrived at the restaurant. The ambiance is very western, and they have a lot of booth seating which is great. Service was ok but a little uneven. The server did not check on us too often, and drink refills were not very proactive. I tried the dragonfruit margarita cocktail. It's a generous portion, but it tasted very weak. Juicy but hardly any booze. We had the Wild West shrimp starter. Crispy shrimp but less flavorful than we remembered. Decent but not bad. Meals include a salad. I had the Caesar which was quite good with fresh and crunchy croutons. Meals also include bread service. The bread is sort of a darker molasses bread. Fairly tasty and fresh but a bit light on the molasses flavor. I had the flo's filet entree with a baked potato. The filet was quite tender, but don't expect the top quality meat of a high end steakhouse. The potato was excellent - crispy skin and fluffy inside! For dessert we had the strawberry creme cake. This was very good. Tender and moist cake with a light custard filling and tasty but not overly sweet strawberry sauce. Overall, this was a good meal. Dinner for a party of 4, our server was horrible, never came back to check on us, I counted 32 food servers who walked by without even looking at us as I tried to get their attention. I have been here 3x in the last 5 months. First time ever was 5 months ago. We loved our first visit. Filet was delicious and cooked on open flame, spinach dip, spicy chk bites great. I did not order a filet because I was worried it would be like the last time. My daughter order a 6 ounce sirloin medium rare. It was cooked on a flat top and almost well done. When I went to cut it for her it had a weird smell, not horrible or rancid but definitely off and not so fresh. My husband ordered filet and lobster and his filet was exactly like mine was the last time. We ordered spinach dip and chicken bites again. Chicken bites were delicious every single time. Spinach dip came out after our food and was luke warm the bread chips were extra extra crispy, but super greasy at the same time. My husband and I both agreed we will not be coming back. I personally wanted to send the spinach dip back, but he told me just let it be. I was waiting for the server to ask something since we barely touched it. She never asked and to be completely honest service wasn't the best either. It was ok. I did ask her how they normally cook the steaks... flat top or open flame? My husband is a big steak guy so this is one of his favorite restaurants. He loves the big ribeye and is obsessed with the spinach dip with the soft bready pita chips. I honestly like steak at home better since I feel like it's always more flavorful at home. So I usually order the grilled shrimp here & love the sweet potato side dish. The shrimp is so yummy when the cook seasons it enough & the sauce or seasonings caramelizes or thickens enough on the grill. I've had it barely seasoned & not caramelized or thickened enough before so it can be a hit or miss depending on the cook.
