Family and I decided to try something different so we went to Long Street deli to check out their brunch menu. When we got there, the waiter, whose name was Hunter greeted us with a smile in the midst of him being super busy. He allowed us to sit where we wanted, and he came to our table with haste. He brought out our menus and took our drink orders. We all ordered coffee and it came out piping hot and fresh. After a little while we were, we decided on what we wanted to eat. I ordered the omelette and opted for fresh fruit. I also added on a stack of pancakes. The food came out. It was nice and hot and fresh prepared the way that I liked it. They also provide the pancakes which were plate size and incredibly fluffy. I opted for the maple syrup versus the pancake syrup, but both were a great option.

We've eaten at many restaurants in Old Town but never here. We changed that today. Snagged a window seat and got served quickly. Mozzarella sticks were basic with a few flakes of cheese in the marinara for dipping. The burger was simple but could have used seasoning. The pastrami reuben was great! Plenty of meat and the Sauerkraut was delish. Note: $3 uncharge for the salad as a side

Very spacious. The service was fast and good. I went for a going away and it took both long tables towards the kitchen. I ordered the fried oysters with a side of spinach sauté and fettuccine with garlic olive oil. It was a 1/10. It was the first time that I had fried oysters. I'll definitely stick to raw!!! The food was super bland. I don't recommend.

Came for lunch and ordered some apps. Stuffed Jalapeño($10) and bang bang shrimp($14). Shrimp was a good size. Batter fry was average but lacked flavor. Decent bang bang sauce. Stuffed Jalapeño was decent. For the main meal I ordered the Reuben ($12) with sweet potatoes fries (+$2). Fairly average Reuben, good toasted bread, ok corned beef. Staff were friendly, but service was a little on the slow side. Overall decent "bar food" here, probably one of the better one you will find in the area. The food was great! Fresh and tasty! The service was friendly and personable. This will definitely be our new go-to spot. P.s. try the peaches and cream cheesecake!

I popped into Longstreet's and grab a window seat. I just missed the lunch crowd so I had my choice of seating. Normally they get a big rush throughout the day. I was greeted promptly by a very nice server. She came in, took my order and I didn't have to wait long for my food. It came out very fast. I ordered the California wrap with waffle fries and topped it off with a piece of cake. I have no complaints about the food. My only complaint was that they had the ceiling fans on and there was a cool breeze blowing. I work nearby so I know I will visit this deli again.

The Chicken Philly Wrap with Onion Rings

PICK UP REVIEW ONLY: So all I can say is that the food was SUPER filling. You are going to get what you pay for and they are heavy handed. I had the chicken philly wrap. It was pretty good. The chicken chunks were thick, they weren't super dry, but I also like to dip my philly in ketchup (don't judge me). I had a side of onion rings as well. . . . sooo good. I really wanted honey mustard and they provide it. They did have some type of sauce that gave a tang with them. It was pretty good . . . but I wanted my honey mustard. Overall, I would definitely try them again. Hopefully on a day that isn't raining. Oh, and the waitress that handled our call order was very patient and flexible with us.

Food was great sat at the window on a Saturday afternoon fun to see all the activity downtown. The Reuben was excellent as was the homemade potato salad. My husband has the burger it was large juicy and delicious. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

Dirty dishes left on our table

We visited LSD after many years and was surprised by the lack of entrees. Although it was dinner time, they only offered one entree special. We remembered that they used to have awesome southern fried chicken. But, no more only finger food and bar food. Which was good but disappointing. The service was even worse, our waiter was hurried and he was frustrated when we couldn't decide what beer we wanted. He didn't have any of our favorites and quipped "we have almost 20 beers!" So, we asked him for their list of beers, to this he said "they're listed on the board over here" and pointed to 4' high pce of plywood and we couldn't see. Then he walked away. He was so irritated by us that he didn't return, the bar lady came over after awhile and took out. Food and drink orders. If it wasn't for her we would have starved to death! The dude showed up later with the check after it was obvious that we were not going to order anything else-even though nobody asked if we wanted anything else! Leaving dirty dishes on the table is one of my pet peeve's-an the LSD wait staff did not disappoint. See attached phot.

We stopped in to get a drink and a bite to eat before a play. They were super busy and we were warned there would be a 30 delay for our food. We ordered or drinks and food and both came in a reasonable time. The drinks were decent (Cherry limeade l, blueberry lemonade and a craft beer). My Ruben was good (asked for toasted white bread but still ended up with rye). There were two large parties there and one was a birthday so we were able to join in with the happy birthday song. Our waitress was awesome and attentive even though they were busy.

Usually Longstreet's is a 5 star experience for me. Had this been my first visit here i probably wouldn't want to come back. Our food took SooOoooOoo long to come out and I have no idea why since nothing extravagant was ordered. Now that I've got that off of my chest, let me start from the beginning. We were seated immediately. Our waitresses was very nice. I LOVE the drinks here. I ordered my usual blueberry lemonade and it did not disappoint. My food partner got the limeade which is pretty good and it reminds me of cherry lemon sundrop. They came out pretty quickly. One drink does not provide a buzz but they do taste amazing. Ordered the fried chicken club with waffle fries and the cuban with fripps. This took over 30 mins to come out :( once it finally did... everything was very hot and delicious. The bistro sauce is a nice touch to the fried chicken club. Sandwich is a total 10/10. The Cuban comes on Ciabatta bread which made it less appetizing to bae. He rated the sandwich a 6/10. I just really wished the food would have come out faster and then I would have had more drinks and therefore more fun! Overall, I recommend this place.

My husband's salad was old and my food wasn't that good either

Our food wasn't good and my husband's salad was spoiling. My chicken salad sandwich only had about 2 tbsp of chicken salad on it. Don't eat here.

This pasta salad was swimming in oily goo and inedible

There is a pretty small public parking lot directly across the street, and it was full, so I'm not 100% sure if we parked in the public parking or the parking lot of the glass shop next-door since there weren't really any signs. I really hate parking in the middle of any town, but it wasn't too bad. But I'm still not sure if we could've gotten a ticket or not. You seat yourself in this really awesome classic rock themed restaurant. The decor is great, a perfect mix of interesting things to look at, without being super claustrophobic-ly overwhelming. It is really cute. We took a minute to look over the menu, and decided on the house cut chips appetizer, and both a beef and chicken Shawarma for us to try both. The beef Shawarma was delicious. I really like the seasoning that they use on their meat or sauce or something. I never could place what it was or where it was, but the flavor is just heavenly. A little sweet, a little savory and delicious. The fresh pickled veggies were also amazing. They were still crisp with that snap that you really want with pickled foods. Chicken Shawarma was definitely my favorite since it had slightly different pickled vegetables. They were both good, but the chicken was definitely my favorite by just a touch. The bread was a little hard and chewy for my likings, it definitely stood up to the creamy sauce and the juicy pickled vegetables, but it almost hurt my teeth if you just had a dry spot that hadn't been soaking in some form of liquid. The house cut chips are just OK, nothing special by themselves, but that trio of dipping sauces was amazing. We were dipping our fries into it because we liked those a little better than the chips, but we ate almost every drop of that sauce trying to figure out which one was our favorite. one of the hot sauces is blueberry and very sweet with a mild spice, one is I think mango and not spicy initially, but when you swallowed, you definitely felt it burn in the back of your throat. It was a nice sneaky heat, which I love. And the third dipping sauce, we could not place, but we literally could not figure out which one we loved the most. They have a patio outside with lots of tables, but we did not go out there. It looks cute in the pictures though. The downside, is that while the service was very great, if you catch them out a bad time, they don't yet seem to be able to handle huge amounts of orders. They've only been open for about two months, I think, so that will come in time. It seems that they only have one guy cooking in the back, so we were unluckily there at the same time as a table of eight people. If we had all the time in the world, I could have sat and stared at the decor for ages. But unfortunately, if you are on a lunch break or have to be somewhere, they could potentially be so backed up it takes quite a while to actually get your food. It was a rare and random set of circumstances, and probably does not happen often, and she generously comped our chips which was not necessary but was very appreciated. The service here is absolutely top-notch. We will definitely be back for more of that delicious Shawarma. Definitely earlier in the day though, so we can sit as long as we want.

I found the chicken pita/wrap dry and bland. The burger way too large, overcooked and dry. I'll admit, I'm a saucy person and like lots of flavors and textures, which I didn't find in my couple of visits. The fried cauliflower was tasty, but wish the pitas accompanying them were warm, or at least not cold.

The decor was absolutely breathtaking. The space itself is HUGE. There is ample space for large groups, as well as, space to accommodate special events. We ordered the She Crab & Mushroom soups as appetizers, as well as, the Oysters Rockefeller. Our soups were bursting with flavor & very fulfilling. Both soups were seasoned perfectly. The Oysters Rockefeller were ample in size & earthy in flavor. They were not the best both my daughter & I had tasted but they were also not the worst either. As our entrees, we ordered the Baked Sicilian Spaghetti & the Seafood Pasta with vodka sauce. Both dishes were absolutely delicious & the portion sizes were substantial. We definitely had leftovers. I found the calamari disappointing and wouldn't order it again, but the Mozzarella balls were delicious and I would recommend them. I then ordered Atlantic Salmon with mashed potatoes. The salmon was ok; it was seasoned and flavored very well, but it was nothing to write home about. However, I enjoyed the mashed potatoes. Overall, the food that was ordered by everyone else in my party looked delicious, and they seemed satisfied. We ordered the lava cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert, which was really good. I enjoyed the live Jazz music that was playing. I would give this experience a 3/5, but I think it's due to the food I ordered, as the rest of my party seemed thoroughly satisfied.
