We got one can of smoked sturgeon and ate it outside. We wanted to see how good it was, so we could determine how much to buy for ourselves and as gifts. We went back in and bought 5 cans of smoked sturgeon, 2 of smoked salmon, 1 smoked tuna, and 1 regular tuna. They also ship nationwide. The sturgeon is special and not always available. The local Yuork Indian tribe are permitted to catch sturgeon, a protected fish, and if they have extra they sell to Katy's. So there are years where there is no sturgeon available at all. The fish does not look like your supermarket tuna, or even your Fishwife fancy tins. There are nice big chunks in the can. The smokey flavor is pleasant and the juices in the can are just from the fish--nothing else added. There are many comments from others about the disposition of the salesperson, and the price of the fish. It is true that on our visit, seemingly everything I asked about was answered with some kind of negative. However, he also offered a lot of historical and fishery source information about the product. If you had a fine food business, and people kept asking you why the price was so high, or other annoying things, you might be cranky too. In the end, he was glad to open one can so we could eat it outside. He gave us his sole plastic fork to eat, and packaged it so there would be no leakage in our car. when he found we were eating on his front step, he was annoyed because spilled fish oil will make it smelly in a way he can fix. i get it. I'd be annoyed too. Thursday- Monday They do ship

I purchased smoked salmon and a can of the jalapeño tuna. The smoked salmon was delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.

All of the volunteers were wonderful and very friendly. The ticket gets you one big plate of food (salad, corn, garlic bread, and bbq salmon). There was soda and bottle water available for $1. They had a few other local ice cream and coffee vendors there too selling items. They have parking at the marina but it fills fast. I suggest taking the shuttle from the satellite parking location. I had a wonderful time meeting people, listening to music, and nom'in on salmon. Thank you to the volunteers and the Salmon Restoration Association for this fun event.

The salmon itself was a mixed bag -- some pieces were grilled to perfection, others were slightly overdone. The flavor of the salmon was amazing across the board. The corn and bread, however, were elite--no notes. The live music was great. Overall great experience for people of all ages. Tips: -- Get there before 10:30am for parking in the marina, early in line to exchange virtual ticket for physical ticket, and secure a table -- Dress up and decorate your table--people lean into it and it's ton of fun -- Bring doggy bags; the portions are huge and you'll want the leftovers

We looked at the reviews here on Yelp! and were a bit worried at the low overall rating. Well, rest assured, we had a good meal and enjoyed our visit. My wife had the filet mignon, while I ordered the rib eye. I asked our waitress about upgrading to the pricier dry aged rib eye, and she surprisingly talked me out of it saying the regular rib eye was really good. She was right. The combination of the grilling and the buttery sauce was delicious. It didn't need any additional sauce, but out of curiosity I tried the house sauce that was on the table, and it was quite nice. For some reason, they have a Tesla coil (from the original Tesla, not the car company) and they fired it off while we were there. They give plenty of notice before they do as it makes a loud sound and sparks fly about the device. It was interesting. So, if you're in town and looking for a good steak, give this place a try.

Boy have I been eating so unhealthy on this trip, but you know that because you are following. Is that part of the reason I am having so much fun? This did not disappoint. I did not think it was very spicy, but my daughter said it was too spicy for her. Good thing she ordered the mild version of garlic chicken; see below. Decent portions. Garlic Chicken - A more mild version of the above. But with rice and mac rather than fries. A slightly healthier version. Ahi Poke Bowl - My wife's choice. Generous portions, especially the tuna; thank you. Because this is raw, we "forced" ourselves to finish this dish first. So good. And to wash it down, supporting local, Sticky Finger IPA. Ambiance - Small local business. The food truck was parked in the rear of the building. Due to the rain, I did not take pictures. Plenty of mall parking. Open 5 days a week, 11:30am to 7pm; closed on Monday and Tuesday. Service - Counter service. Overall okay. Price - $62 + tip. Reasonably priced as we pretty much took an entree to-go. We are light eaters. Owner Comment - Aloha, congrats on your success since 2017; we will be back!
