Ordered on DoorDash it was great. Wish there was a little bit more stuff in the potato salad. There's no pickles or onions or anything, but I was impressed with the meat season to perfection cooked perfection definitely gonna probably try them tomorrow and get more stuff off the menu, not to mention Giving a cold soda was perfect. So, after paying almost $120, we only received $34 worth of food, and all attempts for a fair portion of a refund have failed. Realistically I would give this place 3 stars if this were a stand alone rating. However, I think 1 star is necessary to lower the total to something more accurate. The portions were meager. You would think a $20 plate with two meats and two sides would be enough to satiate at least one person. Shared among two was our plan. Not even after ordering two extra sides were either of us satisfied. A total of $30 for a regular paper plate of dry, disappointing morsels. The coleslaw and mac salad was great, I will admit. It just simply isn't enough food. I think it would have been rectified if they included rice or mac salad with the orders. I ordered a combo with two meats and an extra sauce. I didn't check my order before leaving: big mistake. When I got home I noticed I only received one meat and no sauce. I went back to have them remake the order: no such luck. They took out a significant portion of the pork, added a tiny portion of chicken, and handed the now cold food back to me. I guess the attitude they gave me was free. lol I will never patronize this business again. (And the food wasn't good. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. After an exhausting 10 hours drive from LA on the way to Portland...we made a spontaneous pit stop in Eureka and decided to give this place a try. From the minute we walked in I don't think I could've asked for a better experience. My go-to is teriyaki chicken, kalua pork, potato salad, and pineapple coleslaw, although the chop suey is also a peppery noodle delight. The meat is flavorful and has just the right char. I have never liked potato salad before, but this one us special magic. And the crunchy, sweet slaw is just light. The cake slices are also intensely good. We do take out regularly.
