This was the first time coming to this comedy club. My wife and brought our son to watch Joe Machi perform. For those that may not know Joe Machi, he's on The Greg Gutfeld Show and has been on many late night shows. The Loony Bin hosts many great comedians. The prices are decent for the show, they have a menu you can order your food and drinks from and they do a pretty decent burger as well as nachos and other items. The waitresses are friendly. The seating is casual and was pretty packed for tonight's show. This show was 18 and older but they do have other comedians that will perform more family friendly events for the younger kids also. We all had a great time and got to get some memorable pictures of one my favorite comedian. Thanks to the Loony Bin for making the night a great experience. I thoroughly enjoy going to the Loony Bin. Every comedian I see is funny and has good energy. There is a two drink minimum when you get inside the room but the prices are reasonable and the waitresses are polite. It's just a typical comedy club. I recommend it and look forward to my next visit! read more

The Looney Bin is by far the best comedy club in Tulsa. I only wish they had the lineup that brick town has. for example, tonight I wanted to go see Mike Epps, he's in Tulsa for $60 a ticket, but it's at Bricktown, and it sucks in there. the people are nice but the seats are uncomfortable and they put everyone too close to each other. so instead, I'm going to go watch a Tik Tok comedian named Matt something or another or mark.. idk.. anyway, the point is, Looney Bin is so much better of a venue that I'd watch someone I didn't know over a comic I've wanted to go see for years, without hesitation... plus the tickets are less than half what brick town is charging... no brainer read more

First time going to the comedy club had a terrible experience. Comedians were funny. Service was BAD the server delivering our food knocked our drink over spilling it everywhere and on me. They were apologetic and said so sorry I will for sure get you a new one.. never showed back up with a drink leaving us to clean up the mess they made. Girls night out! Went there with a group of 8, we're all grown women, getting out of the house from our spouses or kids. We're a fun group, we thought! The staff continually came to or lingered around our table telling us to be quiet the entire night. So, apparently no laughing, giggling or discussing the joke amongst your table.... Take it for what you want, our waiter did well handling all of us and the comedians weren't bad. read more

Came here last night for the 2 buck chuckle - Thursday nights tickets are $2 if you reserve them in advance! When you first walk into the comedy parlor, there's a bar/lounge-ish area you can sit in and chill or pre-drink in until the rest of your group gets there - they won't seat you otherwise. Once you're ready to head in, you line up and someone will escort you to a table. Once you're at your table, you can order more drinks or food. Before the show, they play "funny" (or supposed to be funny) clips from the internet/SNL/Youtube on a screen in front of the stage. Then, a local comedian/the emcee will do his act, then an opener, then the headliner. There IS a drink minimum - I think 1 drink/person. Cost isn't that bad (under $10 for a large and strongly made drink...). I got the John Belushi, which was bleh - not enough pineapple and mango flavor. Non-alcoholic drinks were under $3 (pop, hot chocolate, bottled water, etc). Yes, service is a tad slow (there were only 2 servers working the floor when I went), but ours was really nice and continually checked up on us throughout the night. How much you actually laugh will depend on: the comedians you have that night and how fun (or lame) the other audience members are. Just go with people you like and you'll have a good time. read more

Was excited to see Jeff Leeson perform local as I've followed his comedy act for some time. First time at the Tulsa Looney Bin Comedy Club. We purchased VIP tickets because we were excited to see Jeff and to celebrate a recent birthday. We showed up early to get good seats and to eat at the club. We were one of the first groups in line to enter. However, because we had a group of four we were sat in the very back of the VIP section because of table layouts. There was a 6 person table and two 2 tops with better views. I politely asked the manager if we could move the two 2 tops together so that we had a better view and could fit the four of us. The manager offered to sit two additional chairs around one of the 2 tops vs moving the table beside it together to be comfortable because they wanted to keep their tables open for a group of 6 and two separate groups of 2. Since we planned on eating food we chose to stay at our bigger table in the back. There were several tables that weren't VIP that had better views. VIP only means center of the stage, not close seating. Interestingly though, we watched them seat three gentlemen at the 6 person table after telling us they couldn't accommodate our table request. That was as disappointing as the local act/MC. The first comedian was horrible. The two traveling comedians, Levi and Jeff, were both very funny! The food was typical bar food and the service by Tabitha was good. The decision by the manager on seating was a huge disappointment and started the experience off poorly. Even the old drunk guy they kicked out had better seats and was at the stage because he had two people. I would recommend NOT spending the extra money on VIP tickets; they were worthless. No need to show up early because that doesn't mean a better view of the act. And if you go, only go in groups of two separately so you can get better seating. I was a fan of the traveling comedians but not a fan of Looney Bin Comedy Club itself. read more

The Looney Bin exceeded all my expectations I had coming in! The staff was all excellent and friendly, the food and drinks were tasty and well made, and the stand ups they brought in were hilarious! They made sure everyone was wearing a mask before we entered, and seated us accordingly to six feet apart when we were sat. We attended the Saturday night show at 7 PM and was disappointed by the staff I called almost a week in advance for a party when will got there the host seating us told us we could not all sit together I said I called and made reservations he told us it didn't matter we don't take reservations its first come first serve I said I thought we had to call ahead of time he said no, my husband and I had 3 mixed drinks and a diet coke our bill was $42 dollars a couple with us ordered fries and asked for salt they never got it, also fries came out before their drinks arrived, We have attended the show quite often and never had a problem till last night but we all was highly disappointed read more

Didn't order the food but spent $70 on drinks they are a little pricey for what you get and not very strong if I'm going to be there for 2 hours make the drinks a little cheaper so people will buy more. Your best bet is to get the $11 half pitchers Bcs those $6 tiny drinks add up fast. The comedy show was pretty funny. Also there really isn't any coved protocol at all. read more

I'm trying not to be biased, but I'm from Chicago which has one of the best stand-up scenes around. But this place really isn't that nice.... I went with my bf's family for a night out. Location - it's in a strip mall! Apparently it's not in a bad part of town, but late at night, the strip mall's not exactly where you want to be at night. I think there's a dollar movie theater right next door. There's a bar area right when you walk in to grab a drink while waiting for the doors to open. Seating is first come serve, and make sure you have everyone in your party with you, they won't seat you otherwise and they're kind of d*cks about it too. The setup inside is really poorly done, it's just crappy tables and chairs facing the smal lstage. But while waiting, they have a screen up and a projector playing funny you-tube video type clips - which is fine - but it was such poor quality, it was laughable that they'd even show you that on such crappy electronics. Drinks are pretty cheap though. The 2 people we saw were actually kind of funny, but I have to say they were funny "for Tulsa." They made so many ethnic jokes, it got kind of old after awhile. Oh well. Next time we are looking for something to do, this place is on the tail end of the list. It's not the club itself, but really, think about what comics go to Tulsa for work... read more

Visiting the area for a wedding, we hit up this place for some laughs. The decor is so tacky and cheap, I wasn't sure if that was an attempt at humor on its own? Slanting a poster? You so funny. It was decorated like your mom would think a comedy club should be decorated -- a bit 'on the nose' as they say. But whatever, who cares about that junk. The room was a large space. The table service was speedy and friendly. The comics were... well, they had their moments. Both comics felt like they went on a bit too long. I'd recommend a third to break up the set a bit more. The host seemed cool -- funny enough. For an evening out, it wasn't too shabby. Don't let the name of the place or it being in a minimall scare you away. read more

Eh. It's really the only option we have, but that doesn't make it great. The lobby bar is fairly nice. The waitresses don't give great service after that initial 1-drink minimum round before the show starts. The comedians are occasionally funny, but it always goes like this: Some lame "crowd-warmer" gets up there and does a terrible job. Then the opening act is hilarious for like 10 minutes. Then the headliner gets up there and is just mediocre. Blah. Like I said, the service is pretty awful, and they act like they're doing you a favor by seating you. The last time we went, they FINALLY would split our check onto different credit cards (when we've gone before, they had some stupid rule about only 1 credit card per group, it was ridiculous. Who uses cash these days?! I hope they have given that stupidity up for good.) I only give it two stars because their nachos are really good. My husband and friends love coming here. We randomly go to their $2 Thursday nights because who can't resist that price. Last year we had a party of 12 for my birthday and everyone enjoyed themselves. Looks like we're doing the same this year! My wife and I went out with some friends here on a Saturday night, I can't remember the comedians names but they were really really good and we enjoyed the show. So as far as Comedy goes I would give this a 5 star rating, at least for that evening. Now on to the rest, the atmosphere is pretty good and the establishment seemed to be clean, bathrooms were clean also. There was a bar in the front and they have all types of alcohol, I got an old fashion and it was made well. When the show started the wait staff came around to each table and took orders. We were at a table of 4 and each of us ordered a mixed drink from the menu, nothing fancy. The show lasted about an hour and a half it took every bit of an hour to get our drinks! All of the tables around us received their food and drinks but we were forgotten. The waitress came over and acted surprised that we had not received our drinks and apologized, a few minutes later she brought them out. She again apologized and once it was all said and done gave us a break on the tab. So overall we enjoyed the show but the service could definitely use an upgrade. read more

I didn't know what to expect when I first came here, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Loony Bin! I don't usually expect fun late night activities to be out South, but this was an exception! We always come on Thursdays since tickets are only $2 if you call and reserve your group ahead of time (you can pay for your tickets separately when you arrive). You enter through a nice lobby where you can pick up your tickets and get a drink. Then you have to have your entire party together so they can seat you in the theatre space. There are menus available there and you can start a tab for drinks with your server. Our servers have always been very attentive. I have to say that I was surprised with the quality of comedians that come in. I have never been to a bad show! This place is bringing in great talent to Tulsa, so come and check it out! read more

Friendly, professional staff, very funny line up (Christine Stedman and Brad Tassell) and the room is set up the way I like it - tables right up to the stage for an intimate feel. Meh. It's okay for seeing road comics and the occasional name I've heard of but I don't like they have a purchase minimum. You have to pay to get in and then they force you to buy food and drink?!?! i was given 3 free tickets and had never been here. i wasn't aware that it was required to buy dinner and so i told the server we weren't getting anything. she told us that every person was required to order something, so we looked over the menu to decide. when the server returned, my friend said she was still looking and i started to tell her my order, but she cut me off mid-sentence and okay "okay, fine" and walked away. then, another server approached us and proceeded to tell us again that there was a one item minimum per person and that we were taking money out of their pocket by not ordering. i told her that i was going to order, but that the other server was extremely rude and cut me off when i was about to order. my friends and i just got up and left. definitely one of my top 5 worst service experiences ever. i've been serving at restaurants for years and i know if i were to treat a table like that i'd he fired. i was going to spend money and tip her probably 50% even after she was rude the first time, because i know what it's like to be a server. and i also don't ever write negative reviews unless i am truly shocked with my experience. we didn't get to enjoy the comedy at all and this was my first comedy show. she also said that her boss told her to tell us, so i can see that nobody who was working really cares about good service. read more

The staff were terrible tonight. The menu clearly states the drinks were 7.00 and the manager and bartender said they were 8.50 and did not have the new menus updated. When I requested my money back the rude manager came shouting in front of the audience that it was state law. This was April 27th 2018. The comics were okay. Staff is very rude. Seemed racial. I love this club. My husband and I were looking for somewhere to go for our date nights. We decided to come here, and I'm so glad we did. I always have a great time when we come here. In my opinion this club is great for parents wanting a cheap but fun and relaxing night out away from the kids. The cover cost is a great price for the experience you will receive. The food is great and at a reasonable price. The drinks are a little pricey. My favorite drink is the laughing gas. The staff is awesome. I noticed some people gripping about the severs. I honestly think that they do a great job. Yes sometimes you have to wait to place an order or for a refill, but come on they are busy and doing the best they can to take care of everyone. The comedians are great. Every show I have been to the comedians have kept me laughing so hard that it hurts. I believe the experience is worth the money. The only thing I don't like is the end of the show because I have such a good time I don't want it to end. This is just my opinion go check it out and see what you think. read more
