Yes you are going to pay more than you would pay compared to Golden Corral, Old Country Buffet, or any Chinese buffet for the same quality/quantity of food, but you are at a resort and you always pay more when you visit, which is expected. As for the good, it's pretty good for what you pay for. The kiddos love the Mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, rolls, pasta and peas, as well as the desserts. Cause kids just live and thrive off of that type of food. So when you take your kids here they will be full and happy. For the parents, there is also plenty to choose from depending on the day and time. For breakfast, it's your typical super expanded breakfast experience of Eggs, pancakes, bacon, waffles, omelettes, cereal, you name it from a typical American breakfast and boom it will be here. For dinner you can range from prime rib (which is great), salads, pasta, Salmon, chicken, soups, meatballs, bbq ribs and brisket. Service is good depending on how busy they are. Great service if the place is half full, ok service if they are packed, which is to be expected. Overall, if you are fine eating at the resort this is the place to be. If not you are literally minutes from the rest of Grapevine by ride share, or a quick drive. Convenient only. Not a "good" breakfast spot but will certainly do the trick if you have big eaters looking for quantity. For those entertaining littles you don't really get the value of a buffet and your money can go farther elsewhere. Buffet has your typical guest, fruit, potatoes, pancakes, omelette bar etc. They also had some chef items like Chilaquiles. The buffet is a solid three. Dining with little kids I didn't feel the value was there for the prepaid breakfast I opted for but if I had big eaters, I definitely take the all you can eat option just to fill up the belly before play and get the high price tag out of it. The food is decent. We went there for dinner buffet that begins at 5 PM and the cost is 25.99$ with drinks per person. I like the brisket, the grilled salmon, the macaroni and cheese, the cream corn, dinner rolls with butter. For desserts I like the buttermilk pie and the bread pudding. The servers will attend to you quickly and made sure that after every plate you used they took away your plate right away and the iced tea is always refilled. For a restaurant inside of a waterpark, we had fun. After speaking with the chef, they were able to accommodate my son's food allergies well with a variety of options. I do believe the Hostess area should do more to accommodate customers with disabilities rather than waiters saying "you're fine," when clearly a booth is difficult to maneuver in a wheelchair.
