    Crab Eggroll

Ambiance*** I love Harvest Hall and the mini food court concept. I like they provide napkins, silverware and big water cups. It's a cool funky and fun vibe. Service*** was decent staff was pleasant. There wasn't anyone there when I waked up. There were two guys sitting at a table close by. Once they saw me walk up one of them came to take my order. Food*** it's hard to really review as I only tried one menu item. For this reason I will go back again and try a few other items. The crab egg rolls were tasty. Full of crabmeat and great for a quick snack. I just thought they were average though. Nothing wowed me enough about them. I also wished the sauce would have been a sweet chili sauce. The remoulade wasn't a good fit in my opinion. Next time I would swap that out. Now this 3 STAR review isn't bad. I have nothing really bad to say. I just thought overall my experience was ok. So I will visit again to see if my next experience will be better. Just like the name I am hoping for a dynamite experience! Side note*** I like the fancy decorative toothpick that's stuck in the egg roll. This was cute! Wishing them the best as I do like the egg roll concept!

Decent food in the spacious Harvest shall. But feel it is overpriced. New spot in Harvast Hall to choose from. Figured we would give it a go. Sadly with the prices, don't think we will be ordering from them again. Did our normal ordering via website. Took longer than we would normally wait for food. From our perspective there was not much going on in their kitchen. We ordered their OG egg rolls, brisket fried rice and orange chicken. Friends got the teriyaki shrimp. None of the food was bad, it just wast good enough. The consensus from us and friends was they everything lacked seasoning. The OG egg rolls were $12 for 3. Normal small egg rolls. $4 each? Brisket fried rice was $18..... good. But no "wow factor" for the price. Orange chicken had a nice sauce and was crispy, but the chicken inside was flavorless. Not bad food, but hard to recommend with the prices.

Second time trying Dynamite Eggrolls, and it was just as amazing as the first time! Came with a group of friends and everyone was raving about the food. I had the Orange Chicken and the I Want 'Em All (full which is 2 of each eggroll for us to share). I had no idea Orange Chicken could taste this incredible. Apparently, I was told that the sauce is made from scratch using fresh oranges and orange zest. Whatever goes into it, it's fire. This time with some friends, we tried the I Want 'Em All - full which is 2 of each eggroll and they were all equally delicious. Each has its own unique flavor profile and is paired with its own sauce which really elevates the whole experience. If I HAD to choose, my favorites would be the K-Pop, Brisket, and the Lobster Eggrolls, but I'm not sure I can narrow it down any farther they're all that great. The employees were just as nice as the first time and made sure I knew what was special about each item on their menu. Harvest Hall was quite happening just like the last time and was a great place to spend time and hang out. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they have trivia and a fair amount of people came to play.

Egg roll taste descent but if you want a full meal, you have to order $25-$35 worth of egg rolls as they're tiny.

Very disappointing visit to Pappadeaux Grapevine, TX…read more Been there many times and generally have enjoyed it. We had not been there for a while having moved my business. Returned on a Saturday late afternoon and were excited to visit again! Different players this time. Wasn't impressed. Sat at the bar and it just never got off the ground. Slow. Uncertain. Not professional. Seemed like the staff needed more training. The management never engaged to make sure things were right after several things going wrong. A LOT of standing around looking clueless. 7-8 people standing behind the bar at one end chatting away. That's not a typical Pappadeaux. I won't name anyone but it was a train wreck in every way. Pappas concept is usually a well oiled machine. But not today. Was honestly an awful experience. It comes down to management and training. They're lacking. One excuse after another. The wait times and lack of accountability was sad. End of the meal we waited almost a half an hour for two desserts (ordered at the beginning of the meal by their request) and the manager came over and said the kitchen was backed up. Restaurant wasn't that busy. Forgetfulness by the woman that handled our order is more likely the reason. Was BS. I generally don't complain - but this was not a good showing for Pappadeaux. Management never even offered to make things right or make up for their lousy service. I know restaurants - and I've even been a part of Pappas' restaurants in the past. This location has serious problems. Doubt we'll be going back to Grapevine Pappadeaux. Spent $250+ for lunch and felt very unhappy when we left with our 2 desserts in a to go bag. Oysters were small and $31.95 Caesar salads had no croutons. Waited 15 min to get them and was told "yeah there should've been croutons on the salad". Asked for potato puree instead of dirty rice and was charged $9 for a dollop, and was still served the dirty rice on the dish after I told her I wouldn't be eating the rice. Mid rare request on the salmon was past on the degree of doneness. Prosecco refills on the $56 bottle was slow and frustrating. Empty glasses and waiting. Just felt genuinely ignored. Consider the Dallas Tollway, Lombardy, Oak Lawn, FW, Arlington, Richardson or Bedford before this Grapevine store.

The manager said he had the air set on 69, and it just couldn't keep up. Well ... maybe turn it down even a tiny bit more. We have been to other restaurants this week and they were VERY cool!!! Now for drinks - We ordered dirty martinis - there was NOTHING dirty about them. Two olives and vodka. We asked for some olive juice which was brought to us so we could mix them ourselves at the table. I just think at $28 each, your drink should be made as requested... Appetizers - Calamari was great!!!! $27 Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was about the size of a Hostess Donette (you know the little powdered donuts). But in all fairness, we were told it was small; what we weren't told is that it was very runny - ewwww.. Dinner - The Miso-Glazed Seabass was really good! We had to constantly asked for things, he was not the least bit friendly and .. I have NEVER been to an upscale restaurant where the waiter had NO recommendations on wine... or at least had a sommelier to help! Desserts: Carrot Cake, Key Lime Pie, and Baked Alaska - all greatness!!!! Decaf Espresso Martinis - delish!
