We knew before our trip that we had to try ladybug pizza, there's simply no way we were going to miss out on a vegan pizza option on Orcas Island! We ordered two slices between us (ok, who am I kidding, three...we ordered three because I have poor impulse control and had to order two for myself ... oops!). The pizza was a NY style thin crust (as if any other kind really counts .... ha!) but with a thick crust and a good chew. I've had thin crust pizza in the past where it was so thin, the poor cheese and tomato sauce were practically holding on for dear life lol. For the cheese, they use a cashew cream instead of vegan cheese so, while of course you don't get that melty cheese component, it all comes together very nicely, really tasty! The bakery also has coffee and pizza available, but we didn't try any of that. Seating wise, there's both indoor and outdoor seating available for guests and water on tap. The ordering process was smooth but we sat, bussed, and served ourself which was fine.

As he was eating he pulled out a massive dark hair fully baked into the cinnamon roll, and as one does, was completely repulsed and threw it away. Sadly it tarnished is experience of the bakery which I had highly praised and was the first stop on our anniversary trip. Aside from this, the bakery has a variety of pastries that usually go quick in the mornings, my favorite is the chocolate croissant. They also have a full sandwich and pizza shop as well as indoor and outdoor seating areas. Service is always fast and they get your food out to you quickly. Again usually this is our go to so hoping it was just a one off experience.
