I came in to get highlights in my hair, expecting one of the professionals to help me out. After I get there, some random dude comes out who barely speaks English. Barely asks me questions about what I want, and barely talks about what he is going to do starts to do the cap thing on my head. He was extremely rough using the tool, stabbing my head very hard. After he finishes he finishes dying my hair, charges me $300 then when I ask how to maintain it he responds "I trust you will make the right decisions"... like no I know nothing about this, this was my first time. Then a couple hours later, when it drys, I look at it and it looks TERRIBLE. The sides of my head looked like I had cheetah print and the top was VERY orange. After I realize. I go back in a couple days later. After having to take time off of work because of how bad it looked and how anxious it made me. They agreed that it looked terrible and they told me that they would fix it free of charge.... They schedule me for the next day and I come in, then as they start they say "btw we are going to charge you $150 for this". They said this AFTER they started and told me they'd fix it for free. Then I asked why it wasn't free anymore and they ignored the question and walked away. When I went to the register they gave me a product to buy and told me I had to pay and when I asked why it wasn't free anymore again, they said because a different person fixed it. Which made no sense because they scheduled me with her and said it would be free to fix. Again, normally I don't leave reviews. Look at my profile for proof. This was such an incredibly terrible experience, save your money and your mental health and go somewhere else.

I'm not going to name the stylist but seeing the look on her face after she complains to the woman who usually is at front that I talked to much was just school girl antics. To the stylist if you hate your job that much QUIT . Long term customer for before 2018 Sad to be teased and the reaction from the stylist was totally uncalled for. Edit on response: I didn't want to even go back to your place because of the look of disgust and teasing about me talking a lot that I received. Why confront it? It made me feel horriable ! I was very nervous and the stylist looked like she smelled something replusive when Trudy asked if she took a picture of my hair. I guess I should of just shut up and stuck my nose in my phone . You know me I don't cause drama and was totally friendly and festive all those years. I glad you talked to the stylist. Maybe she needs a bit more training. However I won't be returning.

I found the vidogi salon by total chance. Today I was driving and saw it was near my hotel in…read moreScottsdale so I called and asked if they had last minute availability and they did. I immediately looked them up on Yelp and saw great reviews so I came in. The price seemed a little on the high side but they are in old town Scottsdale which is an expensive area. So I said screw it and let's splurge a little. From my moment I arrived the stylist Nikki noticed my hair needed a special shampoo after she ran her hands through it. The shampoo was called a clarifying shampoo. I'm 40 and no one has ever once used that on me before I didn't even know what it meant. But I really felt like there was attention to detail happening from the moment I walked in. I got a cut from her and she asked my goals and made some immediate recommendations and gave me some options. I picked to grow it out more so we didn't layer it yet. And she styled my head really nicely and suggested a product that was lighter on my hair that I should use and she showed me how she styled it. She also gave me a blowout and did some really fancy style in the back of my hair too. I got my hair color done by her too and she's the first one to notice the parts of my hair that had more stubborn follicles and she went into it with more detail and made extra passes in those parts. Lastly when she did my beard she put aluminum metal sheets over it so the color sets in better, no one has done that with me either. I don't remember everything she said in detail but she spoke like she was a true expert of hair and color. Not your typical stylist that just knows how to do the job, she's a real professional. Lastly she's super friendly and personable, and she made the entire experience very delightful. Worth every penny and more, I'll definitely be coming back here for my hair.
