On arrival, my hairstylist was running late, which was fine because I knew I wanted to be here because of the recommendation. She greeted me happily. The front hostess was also very friendly. Everything fell apart once I was in the chair. It began by her picking at my hair and basically telling me it looked terrible. On several occasions the words "so it at least looks pretty" came up. As if my hair looks terrible. She then brought over her manager because they were unsure of what to do with my hair and were not "comfortable" bleaching my hair in fear of "breakage". They both picked at my hair as if it was diseased. And I will assure you, it is not. I take pride in myself and hair. They then took pictures of my "terrible" hair and then sent them to the owner asking her "opinion". They then came back and told me about something I would have to sign in case they had to CUT MY HAIR OFF after. My hair is no where near that. Sure it has had some heat on it, and had some color, but no where near that. At my age I am well aware of what my hair can take. The manager kept picking up my hair and dropping it and telling the hairstylist "I wouldn't do it if I were you," with this look of disgust. I have never been more humiliated at a salon. I said then what can you do for me. They told me there was nothing they could do for me. On their social media and individual pages they all claim what experts they are. They share pictures of women with perfect hair the before and after. But what about women who come in wanting a change and needing a change that don't have a "blank canvas" as the hairstylist mentioned she wanted? After the disgusting looks at my hair and sitting there for 45 min I finally told them thank you for their time and walked out. If you are looking for a salon to help you with your hair, THIS IS NOT IT. They are not confident in skill and make you sign a waiver. Not to mention, I was ready to shell out the 325.00 they quoted me to even do my hair and STILL they were going to have me sign a waiver. I have NEVER in all my years been told it is impossible to do my hair, and for a salon that charges so much, and has such a great reputation I was beyond disappointed. Do not come here if you have used heat on your hair, have any fly aways that may look like "damage". Unless you want to be made to feel like I do. Trash.

At my second appointment yesterday (six weeks after the first), he did a partial and haircut. I am so thrilled with the way it turned out! We spent a lot of time talking about what I wanted and he took his time, asked questions, and didn't do anything that I didn't ask for. I can also say this salon has a really fun, cool vibe. I came in to get highlights in my hair, expecting one of the professionals to help me out. After I get there, some random dude comes out who barely speaks English. Barely asks me questions about what I want, and barely talks about what he is going to do starts to do the cap thing on my head. He was extremely rough using the tool, stabbing my head very hard. After he finishes he finishes dying my hair, charges me $300 then when I ask how to maintain it he responds "I trust you will make the right decisions"... like no I know nothing about this, this was my first time. Then a couple hours later, when it drys, I look at it and it looks TERRIBLE. The sides of my head looked like I had cheetah print and the top was VERY orange. After I realize. I go back in a couple days later. After having to take time off of work because of how bad it looked and how anxious it made me. They agreed that it looked terrible and they told me that they would fix it free of charge.... They schedule me for the next day and I come in, then as they start they say "btw we are going to charge you $150 for this". They said this AFTER they started and told me they'd fix it for free. Then I asked why it wasn't free anymore and they ignored the question and walked away. When I went to the register they gave me a product to buy and told me I had to pay and when I asked why it wasn't free anymore again, they said because a different person fixed it. Which made no sense because they scheduled me with her and said it would be free to fix. Again, normally I don't leave reviews. Look at my profile for proof. This was such an incredibly terrible experience, save your money and your mental health and go somewhere else.
