    Car being towed

Lorenzo Ford is hands down the worst dealership experience I've ever had. I bought a BMW from them and within FOUR DAYS the front differential blew. The car has 47,000 miles and was supposedly ready for sale. Clearly, that's a joke. Any inspection would've caught this, which tells me they don't check their trade-in cars at all. When I brought the issue to their attention, instead of helping or standing behind what they sold me, they immediately tried to wash their hands of it and said "you don't have a warranty" as if selling a mechanically unsound vehicle is totally acceptable as long as they can hide behind paperwork. No empathy. No solutions. No accountability. Just excuses. If you're thinking about buying a used car here, don't. Once they have your money, you're on your own even if the car catastrophically fails days later. This place is the definition of sell it and forget it. I regret ever doing business with Lorenzo Ford and would never recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the headache go literally anywhere else.

Converter box that wasn't accept it

Worst place to buy parts I came and bought an converter ford my 2015 f150 I came back with the box wet due to the rain a day before and I was told they don't want to take it just because the box is wet are you kidding me ??

listed cash price of $19,000 instead of $17,000 I agreed upon

UPDATE TO A PREVIOUS FIVE-STAR REVIEW: IF YOU ARE A WOMAN, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. The deal was already not working. I already wanted to leave. but against the better of my judgement, I stayed an extra few minutes to hear out the general manager, Diego, when he came into the room to salvage the situation. Diego gave me a final vehicle price of $17,000 + $1,000 for the gap insurance, bringing me back to the total of the vehicle price I was comfortable with of $18,000. I put a $3,000 down payment to cover essentially what would be taxes and fees. They have me a steep interest rate of 7.99%. The monthly came down to $412 for 54 months. Steep. But in my naivete, I signed the pad they handed me without looking. I trusted everyone at the dealership at this point. it was not until my return to South Carolina, 750 miles away, that I opened my financing documents (conveniently tucked into an envelope when the Finance Manager, Fernando, handed it to me at the dealership) that I saw he listed the CASH PRICE for the vehicle at $19,100 (after a $500 sales tax - outside any registration and dealer fees) in excess of almost $2,000 above the agreed-upon price of $17,000. This price gouge essentially making my $3,000 down payment useless. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in December as a Christmas gift for myself after having driven the same car for the last 13 years. And what should have been a pleasant experience has turned into a nightmare. PLEASE NOTE I have been trying to reach out to the dealership for a month in hopes of solving the issue - PERHAPS it was merely an error - but I have not been able to hear back from anyone and everyone so conveniently is now either on vacations or in meetings. Even the internet sales manager Orlando has gone MIA. The General Manager, Diego, has refused to give me any type of correspondence despite my multitude of calls and emails. Very disappointing. Please take your business elsewhere. ORIGINAL REVIEW 12/24/2023: Thank You, Mr. Frank Grullon, for helping facilitate the purchase of my next long-term vehicle; for going above and beyond, making me feel understood through my anxieties, and even checking in to make sure I made it home safe. The only things that could have made the experience better were not any things anyone had means to control: #1.) being that I I wish the extended warranty went further in mileage for its coverage and #2.) being that I truly look forward to better finance rates in the future. Even through these hurdles, the entire team worked with me to make sure I did not leave empty-handed. Thank You to Internet Sales Manager, Orlando for initiating a conversation and facilitating my arrival in Miami; Sales Agent, Mr. Frank Grullon, for being the absolute best one could ask for; the Finance Manager, Fernando, for his patience and willingness to present to me all possible scenarios; and The General Manager, Diego, for dedication to customer service in making this purchase possible. Happy Holidays and Thank You once more for my new car. Sincerely, SP

On 4/11/2026, my disabled brother purchased a vehicle from this dealership after speaking to someone who works at this dealership that encouraged him to purchase a vehicle by speaking to him about his disability program he currently attends, she expressed knowledge and experience with these special need programs because this person once had a personal matter to these kind of disability outreach programs and presented herself as someone my brother could trust, he believed he was making a safe decision because this is someone that he felt clearly understood his limitations, the way she approached my brother in order to gain his trust and it was completely disregarded how it was made very clear of my brother disability limitation. Unfortunately, that trust was not respected by this dealership. Throughout this entire process, We felt his disability and trusting nature were not treated with the care and consideration he deserved.. Instead of receiving patience, honesty, and guidance, he was put through months of stress and frustration. When my brother first looked at the vehicle, it had a flat tire. He was told it only needed air, but it was later discovered that the rim was cracked. The dealership removed the damaged rim, installed a spare tire, and promised that the rim would be repaired. Instead, my brother was left driving on a spare tire for approximately five months. A spare tire is not meant to be a long term solution, and leaving a customer in that situation was extremely concerning. The financial process was one of the most frustrating parts of this experience. My brother was told (in a text) he needed $1,500 to get the vehicle released. He gathered the money he had and brought it to the dealership. After receiving that amount, he was then told he needed another $200. He provided that as well. After she had that money in hand, he was then told he needed another $300. At that point, my brother had already given everything he had available and had to call me asking for help because he needed transportation to get to his medical appointments. After we became involved, it became clear how uncomfortable this situation was. My brother informed me that they repeatedly reminded him that they controlled the tow service, which made him feel pressured and concerned about losing access to the vehicle, which felt like unnecessary pressure and intimidation. From our perspective, it created the feeling that his situation was being used against him because they knew he needed the vehicle. Later, we were told there would be another $250 added to his next two car payments. The entire process became a constant battle over money and communication. What should have been a simple vehicle purchase turned into months of stress and frustration. The registration process was also unacceptable. Instead of receiving his permanent tag in a timely manner, my brother was repeatedly given temporary tags while the dealership continued delaying the situation. The entire experience felt like going through a painful divorce a long, exhausting process where every step became a struggle and where getting basic responsibilities handled required constant effort and confrontation. After months of phone calls, delays, and having to personally step in to help my brother resolve issues that should have been handled by the dealership, we finally reached the point where the rim situation had to be addressed. Even then, we were told the mechanic was unavailable and that my brother would need to pay someone else to reinstall a rim that the dealership had removed. That was unacceptable. The final interaction with management was extremely disappointing. After everything my brother went through, there was no accountability, no acknowledgment of the frustration caused, and no willingness to have a professional conversation about how this situation was handled. A dealership should make customers feel respected and protected, not pressured and ignored. This experience left us feeling that my brother's trust, financial situation, and disability were not treated with the care and respect they deserved. I strongly recommend anyone considering doing business here to carefully inspect the vehicle, document every conversation, and make sure every promise is put in writing before moving forward. The owner needs to hand the business back to the old GM Mr colón or her husband.

On June 6, 2026, I decided to trade in my K5 and went to Kia of Homestead, where I purchased a 2026 Sportage. The monthly payment wasn't exactly what I wanted, but that's something that can happen. My bad experience started with the trade-in. My K5 had positive equity, and I was told I would receive a $1,000 refund check within two weeks or less. To make a long story short, I've called several times, and nobody seems to know anything about the check. No one can give me a clear answer. I also called Kia Finance, and they confirmed that my previous vehicle was paid off a while ago, but they don't know anything about a refund check either. My advice is simple: if you want to avoid this kind of experience, sell your trade-in to a company like CarMax instead. They pay you on the spot, and then you can take your money and buy the car you want from any dealership. This won't happen to me again. I won't be doing business with Kia of Homestead in the future. I feel very disappointed and misled by the way this situation has been handled.

It was a Friday afternoon on Easter weekend so I was expecting to sit for a while. I called Bromnin and Jason the service advisor said to bring it in and they could check it Saturday, but probably couldn't work on it until Tuesday. I took it in on Saturday morning and they actually got right on it saying it should be done by closing. I called before closing and they said they needed parts, so it would be Monday. Right ater the call I got a text that it was complete. Obviously it wasnt so I called Monday and the cashier said it was done. Went in and of course it wasn't. OK, I'm cool with that. But that's where it went downhill. Monday afternoon comes, no call. Left a message for the service writer, no call back. Tuesday morning I go in, not ready yet- doing a regen and he'll call. Since I couldnt get a call back, I went in every morning and every evening. No info. No call backs. Saturday comes and they need another part. If you get the drift by now, the service department tek works on it but no one else knows whats going on, because the truck is still marked as done. The service advisor will not return calls. So were stuck paying daily rates on place to stay and rental car. I could have just paid weekly rate if I had only had a little more info. All we really needed was information. I'm very appreciative that they started right on it, and I can't blame the teks. I understand how not everything shows up on the initial eval and more stuff needs to be done. But seriously!
