Negative: - There are some days when the seasoning seems to be a little heavy handed and too salty. - Sometimes the service is a little spotty with the drive-thru "agent" being a little snappy, but you can't expect Michelin ambience on a drive-thru budget . Not only do the prices KEEP going up! But the portions are getting smaller. Then when you get to the window your total doesn't ever match what the prices say on the board. They make up totals. Ordered rolled tacos and carne asada fries. Rolled tacos were crunchy, there was a good ratio with the shredded beef filling and the quality of taste was okay. The carne asada fries were okay. They use thick fries and add beans as well. Red and green salsa was good and not as hot compared to others. Been coming here since I was a kid, and my parents have been coming since they were kids. I've never been disappointed with their service. It's a shame that prices keep skyrocketing. Can't believe I'm paying almost $30 for fries and a quesadilla sometimes. That being said, I keep coming back, they have the BEST red sauce in San Diego. And their carne asada fries are to die for. Always completely loaded up and perfect. Can't stand getting super greasy, artery clogging food. But Loreto's never has super greasy food. Absolutely love it here and will always support this business. Just a shame that these times have caused prices to rise. read more

Idk who that one bigger guy is but it seems like he's always in a bad mood every time we order/pay for our food and doesn't seem to wants to be there, like he is unsatisfied with his life working a mediocre job or something? I generally like this place, but the staff aren't wearing masks or hairnets. The cook and cashier are talking very loudly right over the food. I'm sure they're spitting in it on accident. It's all about the Texano burrito son! No seriously, everything else here is just tolerable but the Texano warrants a five-star rating, no contest. So what is it? Chicken and french fries in a spicy red sauce, with cheese and sour cream oozing out of a delicious flour tortilla. Pure. Heaven. If you are going to attempt to eat an entire burrito, I suggest you come on an empty stomach because they aren't stingy with the filling. Have an horchata on standby because these babies are as spicy as they are hefty! I wish the picture did this culinary masterpiece justice. This place was actually delicious. It was in a sketchy area and the building itself was extremely dilapidated but the food was good. I dont want to give it 5 stars because im insanely picky when it comes to Mexican food but also because im 90% positive I wouldnt go out of my way to go back here. Came here after riding back from San Francisco and just didn't feel like cooking. I had a burrito with fries in it, I usually avoid this because it just seems odd and not traditional Mexican. But I will say that it was actually pretty good. The contents could have been more evenly distributed but it was very hot and there was no chance of getting sick I will tell you that! Oddly enough the fried seemed to take up enough space to make it a big burrito but weren't dense enough to really weigh you down and feel like a lead brick in your gut. There is no salsa bar but you get 2 squeeze bottles with a green and a red salsa in them. The red is spicy and the green was just green, I'm not a big green salsa fan but I did try it and it wasn't bad. I don't remember there being a TV in here which was surprising because all authentic taco shacks have a TV that is some how inexplicably always playing a soccer game. I would definitely go here as it's 24 hours and pretty decent food. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Found hair in my food half way into my burrito. I go back to show them and bring the receipt. They don't understand English so there was a lot of confusion. They told me i cant get a new burrito because its not a full burrito. Which makes no sense because I found the hair while eating the burrito. How am I supposed find it without eating it. I was excited to try this place as I recently moved to the area. I called in my order, and when I arrived at the drive thru window and let the employee know I had called and placed an order, she didn't seem to have any recollection that we had just spoken 10 minutes before- they didn't have my order. So giving the benefit of the doubt, I went ahead and ordered again at the window. Got it home and they got my order wrong ‍ not only that but I asked for the fries in the cali burritos to be extra crispy and they were soggy, and the tortillas were way over cooked. Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! I brought in breakfast burritos for a co-workers bday and since we start work early, my options were limited. This place popped up since it was open 24 hours and close by. The exterior (and surrounding neighborhood) visually look pretty rough, and the drive-thru driveway is tight and narrow but don't let that deter you. The bacon breakfast burrito was delicious and one of the best I've had! The bacon was super thick and the burrito was loaded with it. They cut all the burritos in half for me and each half was still pretty big. =) read more

This place is a joke! Not only did they messed my order up, I clearly ordered light beans, eggs and cheese burrito & I get home to find beans and cheese burrito with sprinkles of eggs. I called to ask for the owner because I have been going to this place for a very long time and I have been given the same order correctly & good but today the women working there clearly don't know how to make the food! Manager Gloria acted on the phone like it's only $5.17 that's not the point my burrito can be $12 dollars but if it's made consistently than it's worth it. The food is definitely good, but the customer service is non existent. Went there the other night. I greeted the employee... nothing... I even said thank you when the guy gave me the food and again the employee said nothing. Oh and before I got the food the employee asked if I wanted salsa so I clearly asked for extra all red salsa because I ordered carne asada fries and 5 rolled tacos and in total I got THREE red salsas.
