This was our second time here. We wanted to give it another try. It's a diner. Limited hours. First, the waitstaff was not great. She brought our food and left the building. When she came back, she didn't check on us. The food is not so good. We ordered a coney dog that hubby said was ok. I ordered the chicken pita that hardly had any chicken. Lots of pita. It came with Coleslaw. That was good. I ordered my fries extra crispy, they weren't even cooked all the way through. Their prices have gone up a lot. While the price is in line with chains, this isn't a chain and the food isn't worth the price. So disappointed. Won't be back.

Lori's is definitely the best in-town breakfast dinner around! Would definitely recommend! Especially the strawberry waffles!! So satisfying. Last time, we got mozzarella sticks at 9 in the morning, they were definitely worth it and the waitress was super understanding of our odd order so early in the morning.

I did think the customer chatter was pretty loud, but I do not think Lori will change that.

I ordered the ribeye this time but have tried the filet, an chatobriegn a few times and both of those are delicious. My woman loved the scallops. The lobster cargo is amazing as well. Nice bread basket. Handmade table-side Caesar salad $17 for four servings. Good French onion soup, chops and lobster tail. The sour cream for the baked potato contained fresh cut chive. Delicious. CONS: Weird parking, seating cramped like sardines. Saturday evening dining room was LOUD! Could barely converse. Food is expensive: Tomahawk steak $90+. Ribeye $55+. New York Strip $50+. Most everything was ala carte. Disappointed that the Sander's hot fudge cream puff did not contain hot fudge anywhere near the taste and quality of the old Sanders recipe. Cream puff was stale too. A strong seafood smell permeated the entire restaurant. SUMMARY: Mr. Paul's Chophouse is a REAL restaurant for those special occasions. Total East side. Food is very good but not "great". Eat here for the old school vibe. Kudo's to the owners that keep it going.

I miss have smoothies/boba drinks made this way. I did like the huge menu because there are so many choices of options. I did like the scallion lobster although it was messy to eat. The flavor reminded me that that canned chop suey I ate as a child. I felt their prices were kind of high for the area. Just my personal option. I wasn't a huge fan of the pho broth, but I didn't hate it either. I'm indifferent bout it. But my noodles were very clumped together and hard to break apart to eat them in the soup. I would have preferred more white onion and not more green in the soup. The meat choice (brisket sliced beef) was ok. The price for the bowl was reasonable. The crab pho was not worth the price. This was over priced I feel. Maybe I would give them another try and try their traditional plates. The chicken quarters looked good and so did the seafood boils. Service was kinda slow. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and greet us. We got water and then we wait a little more time for a waiter. Overall the service was not bad. Our waiter was pretty cool. Restaurant wasn't dirty but there were some flies buzzing.

The menu is a Middle Eastern take on fish and shrimp. Most entrees can be ordered grilled or fried. All the seafood is on display at the restaurant counter, all looking very fresh. My dinner companion and I had spicy golden pomfret, which the waiter said was the restaurant's signature dish, and fish skewers. The golden pomfret, a whole fish, was spicy, but underneath the spicy coating, perfectly grilled, delicate and tender. The fish skewers were mildly seasoned but also delicately done. This was fish that tasted like we were dining in an ocean state, not the Midwest. The portions were generous, as was the house salad. Spice is the name of the game here. Since we were first-timers, the restaurant gave us a complimentary eggplant and pepper appetizer, like baba ghannoush but with a real kick. The red shrimp soup had a spicy red broth, cut slightly by the coolness of chopped shrimp. The antidote to the spiciness was a glass of lemon mint juice. It tasted of fresh mint and cut right through any lingering heat to cool down the mouth. The restaurant, a storefront in a shopping plaza, was immaculately clean, with good service. The only thing missing was the crowd Aliz Seafood House is sure to attract.
