Great little independent diner with a great vibe and friendly service. I was surprised when I left to see Leo's across the parking lot - come out and support your local businesses! This is the kind of place we lose and people say they loved it but never went there. I got an omelet and it came out quickly and piping hot. Coffee was very good and the server never let it get low, checking back regularly to top my cup off. Add to everything, the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a place I'll stop back when I'm in for a good meal and friendly service. read more

local diners are sometimes touch and go with me on how the food comes out, so I tend to be hesitant at times about going in. I'm familiar with Lori's Cafe because it's close to work and I never have a chance to really stop in and see what the place is about. I stopped in this morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. I was greeted when walking in and was told I could seat myself. I took a booth by the window and my server was really fantastic. I reviewed the menu and the food seems to really cover the gamut here. I decided to get the vegetarian omelet since it sounded delicious. I stuck with lemon water since I'd already had enough coffee at that point in the day. The food was really fantastic and the prices couldn't be beat. I ate literally everything and they have raisin bread to boot! While the interior decor is very grandma's kitchen/up north type of style, it's still a fantastic local diner that really knocked it out of the park. read more

This was our second time here. We wanted to give it another try. It's a diner. Limited hours. First, the waitstaff was not great. She brought our food and left the building. When she came back, she didn't check on us. The food is not so good. We ordered a coney dog that hubby said was ok. I ordered the chicken pita that hardly had any chicken. Lots of pita. It came with Coleslaw. That was good. I ordered my fries extra crispy, they weren't even cooked all the way through. Their prices have gone up a lot. While the price is in line with chains, this isn't a chain and the food isn't worth the price. So disappointed. Won't be back. read more

This place is one of those places that's not known to Yelp elites. Majority of their customers (that I would have to take a good guess) are 50yrs+. I believe this place is known to locals who lives around the area but otherwise, not so much traffic here. I love that on the inside, it looks very 80's, almost like vintage diner. It doesn't feel modern. It's clean and good for a big family or two. The service was good and I love the interaction that the waitress gave to my child. Food is good and French toast strawberries was superb. Only issue was I didn't like my hash browns because it was way too crispy for me but nonetheless, the food came out in a good timely manner. I would come back again and do recommend coming here for brunch! They serve breakfast all day too! Although it says only till 11am. read more

So I go in and immediately see one of those "yeah I'm racist and unvaccinated, deal with it lol," signs. So I am all excited, for some great Southern cooking. But then they didn't serve sweet tea or Coke products and they were CONVENIENTLY out of sausage. All the waitresses had colored hair, probably pronouns too. Pretty decent standard breakfast. Nothing particularly that really stood out. The place feels like a trip back into the 90s. Leaflet menus. Cheap ingredients at post inflation prices. No real solid deals for what it is sadly, but it's not like you're getting price gouged at all either. The service was decent. My meat skillet was pretty decent. My one friend's tuna sandwich looked like nothing special but she wasn't upset about it. The biscuits and gravy my other friend got were comical though. There was like an absolutely insane amount of gravy. The whole plate just looked like a thick pool of it and you couldn't even tell where the biscuits might be hiding underneath. The gravy itself wasn't good, but I'm not a huge fan of the cheap run of the mill diner kinda biscuits and gravy usually anyhow. That's a dish that needs at least a little extra finesse and quality to pull it off for me. She didn't mind the taste too much but it was still quite comical. There's is no way that this restaurant rank 5 . The salads I ordered for 11-12$ a piece , there were only 5 strips of thinly slice chicken , the julienned salad was awful , the lettuce were not fresh , the ham has brownish edges on them. How can you go wrong on salads . As I feel bad to give a review like this , but hope they can improve their food , and present their food better . read more

Lori's is definitely the best in-town breakfast dinner around! Would definitely recommend! Especially the strawberry waffles!! So satisfying. Last time, we got mozzarella sticks at 9 in the morning, they were definitely worth it and the waitress was super understanding of our odd order so early in the morning. read more

This is a nice lil hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant. Is it particularly delicious? No. Is it super nice and clean on the inside? No. It has its own charm with lower prices for a traditional American style menu and a homey community vibe to it. It's a diner you can take your grandma too and still get decent cinnamon raisin french toast. I'd stick to breakfast dishes you know you'd like. read more

Stopped in for lunch today, ordered a cup of soup and cheese burger. Soup can right away but 20 minutes later No cheese burger. It may have been the best cheese burger I ever tasted but I had to go back to work so I will never know, only get 30 minutes to eat cheese burgers. So if you are in the area stop in and see if my cheese burger is done and let me know if it was the best cheese burger you ever had. I guess I will have to settle for the second best cheese burger from down the street because I can get that one in 10 minutes. read more

I don't like country music and it was a bit of drive, but we've come back because our first experience was awesome mostly because the server was amazing, great food and prices. She checked in with us a lot and was constantly smiling and super-friendly. That first impression has lead us to come back a few times. Mostly retired and middle-aged folks with kids come here. You can see it's definitely a local favorite because it seems like everyone knows each other. Unfortunately, you don't see many smiles from the other staff. You seat yourself, if there's a clean table available. You may call in for large party seating. The daily specials are on the north wall posted on a white board, just past the vestibule. Come before 11am M-Sat for specials posted at the tables because their prices are already great, but even better then. Regardless, portions are large and delicious. The menu is typical of any coney island-type fare. If you sit along the glass wall at the front, keep your coat on and keep the hot coffee coming, otherwise the booths along the south wall are much warmer. Country music is played in the background each time we've come in, but today it was classic rock. It's amazing how good classic rock can enhance your experience. Decor is 'country family' and bathrooms are clean, stocked and warm. However it'll take a good 10 minutes before hot water comes out of the faucet. After being here a few times, this place is overall "OK". Food comes out quick, but things are inconsistent. I asked for well-done HBs, but they weren't --even though on the check showed that the request was made. We got charged for 2 coffees instead of just 1. We didn't bother because the server came by half way through the meal, then later gave a coffee warm-up, and at the end gave us the check. She may have been anxious to get us going because she offered a to-go box for my half-eaten meal. But my husband was still eating and then finished off the rest of my meal. So, this place is OK. We stopped in at lunchtime and there were only 3 other tables so we thought it would be a good quick meal. After the waitress took our order it seemed like too long had passed before any food arrived. Then we saw the cook exit the kitchen and wave his arms at our table while looking irritated and talking to a different waitress. A moment later she came with our food, now warm instead of hot. Obvious to us the cook had made the food and then it was left sitting in the window, forgotten until he pointed our waiting at the table. Food was not hot, and bland. No seasoning on the hash browns, the breads used in the French Toast and Patty Melt were "eh...ok". Once our food arrived no one ever returned to the table to see if we needed anything and we had to finish our meals without drink refills or even water. The waitress never even brought us the check, we had to go to the counter to find her and get it. We likely will not return. read more

Went in for a quick lunch just to get me out of the office...I do not think I will go back. The atmosphere was nice and the staff pleasant; however, the food was bland. Looking around, I think the reason is because they cater to the older generation. I ordered the stir fry chicken pita. You could tell the veggies were frozen...probably steamed in the microwave and put on a pita with a cut up chicken breast. The chicken breast was flavorless. I took a piece out and tried it, then I had to dip it in the ranch dressing, which came on the side, to get the taste out of my mouth. I left it half eaten along with the half eaten fries. Maybe they do other things better; however, I will not attempt to try them. read more

I've driven by this place many times. Its in a strip next to Borics and Acco. Its a small restaurant and could easily be missed if your not looking for it. Me and my husband decided to stop in for breakfast. The food was good. It is your typical average breakfast. Nothing pretentious. The prices are what breakfast prices should be. The place was very clean and the service was great. They were very friendly and fast. Would I go back? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes. This is a cute little cafe tucked away in a shopping strip. The Saturday morning that we were there, it was quiet busy and all the tables and booths were full. They offer great breakfast specials and offer home fries (crispy or light), but you have to ask for them as only hash browns are on the menu. The coffee was very good and the waitress was very attentive despite the fact that she was extremely busy. I would say that their breakfasts are about the norm for restaurants.
