The waitstaff here is excellent. They're kind, interactive, attentive, and really make sure you're satisfied throughout your visit. One area I believe they could improve is the quality of the food. I recently visited this restaurant with my family, and I'm sharing this review in hopes that it can genuinely help them. I truly want to see their business succeed, and I think there are a few changes that could make a big difference. I ordered the chicken pita, and personally, I felt that the chicken could be improved. The texture made me wonder if it had been microwaved, and I think using a better-quality, fresher chicken would really elevate the dish. The fries, however, were good! I also had a cup of coffee, and I think they could definitely use a better-quality coffee. (I know...who gets coffee and a chicken pita? I didn't know what I wanted, but coffee sounded good!) I didn't try their breakfast, so I can't speak to that, although I've heard good things about it from the folks who sat behind me. My review is based solely on the chicken pita and coffee that I had, as well as the Reuben that one of my family members ordered. Personally, I don't think I would go back again based on this experience, but I truly hope they consider making some changes to the food quality, especially the chicken. I have mixed feelings about strawberry fields... sometimes everything is spot on and others can be a miss. We were in the mood for salads so we ordered a carry out of Greek salad & blackened Caesar. I ordered my Greek minus onions with extra feta. I was excited because the menu said creamy Greek dressing. First, my salad had onions. I can't eat them and having to pick them off is a pain. The cream Greek dressing was super thick and questionable based on appearance... I gave it a try, but it was quite odd. It tasted like a lot of mayo base and a tiny bit of Greek dressing. Quite a disappointment! The salad had plenty of veggies and my husband enjoyed his. I'll go somewhere else next time I'm craving a Greek salad. read more

The food we have had here has been "good" and portions were good size. I always opt for breakfast food and hubby goes for the burger/sandwich section. There are days service is great and days where it is slow even though the restaurant is empty. Strawberry Fields is a Beatles themed restaurant and it does need some updates. Wasn't able to get pics because I didn't have my phone on me but we had a great breakfast at Strawberry Fields near 23 and Sass in Chesterfield. They were already full when we arrived around 9:30 am but we were seated about 10 minutes later. I noticed while we were waiting that they have a machine that grinds coffee beans and brew their coffee with the fresh grounds - delicious! It makes such a difference in taste. The kids meals are about $6 and generous portions - my daughter enjoyed the giant Mickey Mouse shaped pancake with sausage and my boys enjoyed the chicken strips and fries. My husband tried the strawberry soup which is essentially just a strawberry milkshake in a bowl lol we also tried the cheese crepes (delicious) and the cowboy hash which was different but pretty good. Huge menu so there is something for everyone. Staff works well as a team and helps each other out. We will definitely be back to try more. Oh and it's Beatles themed if you're into that, even the menu sections have Beatles song titles and various Beatles art all over the walls. read more

Its been over 10 years since I dined here. My wife stated it had new ownership since I last visited. Unfortunately, despite new ownership nothing has changed for the better. Upon walking in the smell was of diapers. Since there was a bit of an elder crowd, it might not have came from the kitchen, but the entire special menu was fish, so who knows. The main area still had the basement feel, just now everything is older with worn edges. It even had bugs in the overhead light fixtures. Since its January, its been dirty for a long time. Prices were still overpriced for quality of food. We ordered moz sticks and one of them was hollowed breadcrumbs with no cheese. The chilli was very hearty. The strawberry soup had one child enjoying the other did not. I ordered a patty melt that was a giant grease gut bomb. Others at my table ordered chicken and it was dry. I dont plan on coming again for the next 10 years. I would be happier if it was a fast casual restaurant. read more

My GF and came to this restaurant 2 years ago in the thick of COVID... it wasn't anything like it is now... she got sick and there was barely any meat on the sandwich at that time... 2 years later... This is the SPOT! Took my GF and my son up here for dinner tonight and the restaurant inside was very clean and nicely decorated with the Beetles photos and music playing. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked! My son wanted Pink Lemonade but unfortunately they don't serve it, but the waitress was NICE and offered to try to make a pink lemonade... My son loves it and was very happy. My son opted for the BLT with Fries, which he loved! Finished the big sandwich and was too full for the fries he said it was VERY TASTY! My GF got club sandwich with fries, she loved and the amount of meat was great, she also couldn't finish the sandwich and fries. I went for the Ruben with coleslaw on top with fries, I went for the extra and moved to 1lb version.... This sandwich will rival anything in the area with best of them. Plenty of meat SUPER tender not dry, nice amount of coleslaw and cheese. No thousand island dressing which was fine, the fries were plain no seasoning which was ok. I'm very happy we tried it once more giving them a second chance, the waitress that served us tonight was great thank you for making my son happy! The chili is a steal at $4.99, and the other prices are comparable to similar family restaurants. I'm doing a part-time gig as a food delivery person ( a 'dasher') and thought it'd be helpful to do reviews from the dasher's POV, since everyone is doing carryout and curbside dining these days... I received an order for pickup at Strawberry Fields; the place was sold to new owners some years ago, and I wanted to see what's new at the place. Well... Since there's no indoor dining, the dining room is gutted. No Beatles memorabilia, no booths or tables, even the floor has been pulled up. The kitchen, however, is still humming along and my order was bagged as I walked in. The bags were hot and everything ordered was inside...but the bags aren't sealed (as many other places are doing). I like delivering sealed food; it seems safer for the customer, and I don't have to worry about spillage enroute or missing items. It's a small thing to nitpick about, so that's all I'm saying about it. The soup containers had tight lids and nothing slopped out, and I delivered the order without issue. I ordered a chicken salad pita wrap, while my boyfriend had a Philly cheese sandwich. Chicken salad wrap was served on a flat bread wrap, which i thought was pretty different but cool. Except the chicken salad was very dry and I had to ask for mayo (which was an up charge) Steak fries were soggy. My boyfriends sandwich was served on a dried out sesame seed sub bun. Nothing like trying to eat dinner while breaking your teeth in the process. Service was very very slow. Never got refills and took over 20 minutes to get a bill. Each time a waitress came to our table it was a different person. Parking lot doesn't have any lights, beware. Menu could be downsized. Very dirty inside and out (including restrooms) Waitstaff could be more friendly. Prices are in the steeper side compared to similar restaurants in the area. read more

I found this hidden gem at the recommendation of my coworkers. I have been here several times now and have never been disappointed! The service is great from the moment you walk into the restaurant till when you walk out. I recommend the "big biscuit breakfast" or the "all American." Raw chicken! I have been going here for some time. I have had raw chicken from here before and chalked it up to a one time only thing sent it back and asked for something else . Sadly the last 6 months or so has been awful. I love to support local but just can Not do it any longer. Just in the last month my family and I was there on a Sunday busy as usual, then the place went silent there was some type of fight in the kitchen. Cook walked out We placed our order at least 30 mins prior We had 2 salads and a kids pancake. We watched other diners get served their food that sat way after we did so about the 40 min mark I started to ask how much longer ( politely) After a full hour of sitting waiting on our food we had to get up and leave. My sons sugar drops too low can cause big trouble for us. The server never offered us as much as a cracker. We were very patient and understanding as they were busy and had a cook leave but it was one pancake and 2 side salads. I was irritated only after I noticed everyone that came way after us was already eating. So I didn't go back for a few weeks. Then went back with a co worker and we were served this raw chicken. This is so very dangerous, we could have been seriously sick from this. This place is tanking in a BIG way This chicken is unacceptable and they are lucky that I don't call the health department at this point!
