Fresh chips and salsas , Really friendly staff , great service and clean restaurant. Would come back again definitely not a one off spot.

The wife and I were invited by another couple and asked if we wanted to try a place a little further out. It was a solid recommendation. Amazing flavor in the grilled items, pleasant atmosphere, attentive without being overbearing, smiles seen on all of the patrons. I would HIGHLY recommend allowing time in your travels on I-45 to stop and partake.

They were worth every penny! My Pops took my mom and I out for lunch. Heads up, the Frescas are not free to refill but the tea and other fountain drinks are. It was clean, the staff were polite and attentive. Definitely worth stopping by!

We were on a road trip with family and were always on the look out for a new restaurant . The lady who attended us was very sweet treated and treated as if we were at home. I ordered La Huerfana (funny, ik). The burger came with al pastor, piña, avocado and everything else a burger would have. **A little warning, its big**. They recommended some plate like menudo, pozole and caldo de res which is a specialty on the weekends. 10/10 Will probably stop by for more on our next trip.

Quaint restaurant with a friendly staff. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Nice place to stop right off 45 if you're traveling.

It has photos of everything. I love ceviche and I had a very difficult time deciding. Ceviche, Aguachile made in multiple ways, Coctels, Seafood Tower, Tostilocos con Ceviche! Hacha and all kinds of shrimp. Beautiful Snow Crab. They make trays of items. Bowls. Boils. Molcajete. Ramen noodle bowls. There is Zarandeados style to cook shrimp and octopus. There's Beef, too. Fajitas. Carne asada. Bistec. Barbacoa. Burgers. So, we had our favorites. I ordered a Plato de Ceviche that comes comes with fresh thin fried corn chips and a fish tacos platter (4). My husband ordered this huge Carne Asada Plate. Our sweet waitress was kind and patient. Much of the menu is in Spanish for items that I'd never heard of and wanted to know about. I tried not to monopolize her. There was all this incredible looking food around us! It looked like we were served a very tasty fire roasted salsa Negra to kick things off. Our food arrived fairly soon. My husband's Carne Asada Plate was enough for two. Served on a tray, it came with 6 flour tortillas and he took half of what you see in the photo home. The meat was so tender and the grilled whole onion was delicious. My ceviche rocked. Crunchy veggies and well seasoned and marinated fish and shrimp, lots of avocado and a surprise! Tender bites of octopus at the edges of this enormous serving of Ceviche. It was perfection. Next time I want to try the Aguachile. My only problem will be which one? I opted to take half the ceviche home and jump into a fish taco. There was so much fish, it barely fit into the tortilla. My husband had one too. There were two delicious creamy sauces, Pico de Gallo and purple cabbage. Crunchy enough to stand up to everything, it was SO good. I took the other two home of course. This area of downtown Ennis is so very nice. Plenty of parking. Benches. The restaurant has patio dining but it was much too cold. On a Sunday evening, every table was packed, but we waited just a couple of minutes. Service was lovely. We'll definitely be back. I can hardly wait!!

The food and staff where amazing will be going back. The tacos were great. Food came out fast as…read morewell.

I am amazed and pleased that Corsicana has a place like it! Gourmet food, fine wines, and an intimate setting are the offerings they bring and anyone should be fortunate to be able to partake in this place. I was REALLY glad that we had decided to stay through dinner and even more glad they were able to accommodate us without reservations. Ideally I would say reservations are a good idea because seats are limited. My recommendation: The Filet! Also leave room for dessert!

She has been here a few times and the young lady server working tonight recognized her immediately and gave her a warm greeting and hug. Our server Andrew was so professional and knowledgeable about the menu, he took excellent care of us, didn't mind us visiting, and had wonderful timing as we lingered over the menu and took awhile to decide. Mom and hubs both ordered the Filet, as it's listed it came with Bleu Cheese, neither of them are a fan, so they both asked to remove it, mom traded her asparagus for green beans, and hubs kept his as the chef had created it. Both of them raved about the temperature being perfect, the meat was tender and flavorful. I had the New York Strip that came with green beans and the truffle mashed potatoes. Everything was amazing! My steak was cooked a little past medium, closer to medium well, but it had no ill effect whatsoever, it was tender enough I believe I could have cut it with my fork, the mashed potatoes were silky and so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and topped with melted butter. The green beans were cooked perfectly, fresh, but also tender, exactly how I like them. 10/10 Will visit again when I'm in Corsicana. This would be an amazing place for a special date night, or to impress clients you might be doing business with, I'd even recommend this Bistro for a rehearsal dinner, or special anniversary. If you want to impress someone, make sure to spend an evening at Across the Street Bistro by Andreas!
