It says 8am, I passed by one day after they were closed for a couple days and the lady said the open at 8 but didn't have product so they had been closed. I live around the corner and would come at least 2xs a week if they were open. 8:58 am Friday. Arizona burrito. I made the mistake of bringing my partner and he's obsessed. Arizona Burrito Carne Asada or choice of meat. Guacamole, Sour Cream, Cheese, Fresh Home fried potatoes (sometimes French fries instead) (This is called Asada Fries Burrito in other locations.) When I say obsessed, I mean it. He actually called me from work to ask me to bring him a burrito. Fortunately, I am working remote today. As further evidence of his obsession, this is the fourth time he is eating this burrito this week. I will say it's a pretty good burrito because the added french fry touch is somehow the unexpected *chefs kiss* for a hood'rito. This morning was the first time it had the cube potatoes instead of French fries and he was sad. French fries stay crispy longer. That being said, do you need to eat it while it's fresh? I would highly recommend yes. You get the crispiness of the potato only when it's fresh by the time you get it home all the crunchy aspects will probably no longer be present. I'm a little disappointed because they didn't have any rice ready yet although it is included in their breakfast platters. Ok, to be frank, we eat here way too much I cannot say that I've had everything on the menu, because I'm pretty into my preferences here. REGARDLESS! If you like shredded beef, this is a solid choice and there doesn't seem to be many. If you JUST wanted shredded beef, get the shredded beef tacos. Beef, cheese and lettuce. Hard to go wrong, but it is delicious. Do not get this expecting super healthy, because it is deep fried. Yes, there is grease from the deep frying. If you don't mind, then I absolutely recommend it! If you get shredded beef in nearly any other dish, it is a mix of the shredded beef with bell peppers and onions. I don't usually want that, but if you like the bell peppers and onions, then it is delicious! The mixture is juicy and flavorful! The other major reason we come here is the veggie burrito. If you cannot find a solid veggie burrito, this is my partner's absolute go to. It has pico, lettuce, beans, rice, cheese, crema and guacamole and is $8.95. I would challenge you to find a better price anywhere else and you don't have to pay extra for the guacamole/avocado. We tried tons of places around LA and this is the winner for the quality, price and taste. It's a triple win. If you don't believe we are frequent visitors, the staff can tell you our regular order we love this place and will continue to bug them too frequently! A couple weeks ago I came by here just because this is one of the places that's closest to my job and I can't be gone for more than 15 minutes. That makes it so I have to be very precise about what I order and when and usually I do so over the phone so I just have to pick up. Unfortunately, my first letdown with this place was me showing up at nine in the morning to find that staff was just arriving, and the restaurant wasn't even open on time. Today I take another chance at trying to order some breakfast since I haven't ate all morning . And I end up having to cancel my order because the drive-through has me waiting and stuck in line for almost 15 minutes in a line that did not move. Then I come to find out that they're taking care of 50 burritos which should be unacceptable, unless they have a heads up. But I guess one big order is better than the 5-6 customers they potentially will lose permanently for wasting their time and at least for me being able to eat today! Do better. Youll never see me again. To the lady worker that gave me a soda and at least showed some empathy thank you, but whoever is a manager needs to be fired. read more

I used to be a regular at this location, but I will never go back. I often ordered the #20 shrimp plate and would specify exactly how I wanted my meal. The owner gave me an attitude when I asked for cheese on my beans and he called me a problem, which I found very strange because I'm generally well-liked everywhere else I go. In the past, at Alberto's restaurant they once added sour cream on my salad, which had never happened before. The owner insisted that this was standard, but I know it wasn't. Such a small requests turns into a big issue for them, which is baffling. I could understand if it was ranch dressing on my salad but not sour cream. I actually liked this restaurant and recommended it to many people but now all of my people are ready to expose them. The owner claimed they never make any mistakes, which is ridiculous since none of us is perfect and everyone make mistakes. His rude behavior was caught on my camera. My best friend, a celebrity influencer, wanted to expose them on TikTok, but I decided to write this Yelp review instead. The owner should be more careful about causing problems, especially given the power of the internet. He was very unprofessional. And if he is truly the owner he definitely used his power of authority instead of solving a simple problem and lost customers in the process. I am black so I know he did not care about losing me as a customer it was so obvious. As a business owner myself I resolve issues with my clients, not run them away especially if they are regulars. I had to read Alberto's restaurant 1 & 2 star reviews on google & yelp, they are true. I wish I would've read the low reviews prior. read more
