This place would get 4 star, but they are NEVER open. It says 8am, I passed by one day after they were closed for a couple days and the lady said the open at 8 but didn't have product so they had been closed. I live around the corner and would come at least 2xs a week if they were open. The flavor, and customer service and quickness are on point, they could use less oil on the food, but overall the flavor and price and customer service is great... IF THEY WERE JUST OPEN ON TIME AND CONSISTENTLY.

8:58 am Friday. Arizona burrito. I made the mistake of bringing my partner and he's obsessed. Arizona Burrito Carne Asada or choice of meat. Guacamole, Sour Cream, Cheese, Fresh Home fried potatoes (sometimes French fries instead) (This is called Asada Fries Burrito in other locations.) When I say obsessed, I mean it. He actually called me from work to ask me to bring him a burrito. Fortunately, I am working remote today. As further evidence of his obsession, this is the fourth time he is eating this burrito this week. I will say it's a pretty good burrito because the added french fry touch is somehow the unexpected *chefs kiss* for a hood'rito. This morning was the first time it had the cube potatoes instead of French fries and he was sad. French fries stay crispy longer. That being said, do you need to eat it while it's fresh? I would highly recommend yes. You get the crispiness of the potato only when it's fresh by the time you get it home all the crunchy aspects will probably no longer be present. I'm a little disappointed because they didn't have any rice ready yet although it is included in their breakfast platters. But apparently, yes, it's still worth it to me to break my schedule and pick up the burrito. Will I take a bite before he sees it? Possibly. You're welcome.

Ok, to be frank, we eat here way too much I cannot say that I've had everything on the menu, because I'm pretty into my preferences here. REGARDLESS! If you like shredded beef, this is a solid choice and there doesn't seem to be many. If you JUST wanted shredded beef, get the shredded beef tacos. Beef, cheese and lettuce. Hard to go wrong, but it is delicious. Do not get this expecting super healthy, because it is deep fried. Yes, there is grease from the deep frying. If you don't mind, then I absolutely recommend it! If you get shredded beef in nearly any other dish, it is a mix of the shredded beef with bell peppers and onions. I don't usually want that, but if you like the bell peppers and onions, then it is delicious! The mixture is juicy and flavorful! The other major reason we come here is the veggie burrito. If you cannot find a solid veggie burrito, this is my partner's absolute go to. It has pico, lettuce, beans, rice, cheese, crema and guacamole and is $8.95. I would challenge you to find a better price anywhere else and you don't have to pay extra for the guacamole/avocado. We tried tons of places around LA and this is the winner for the quality, price and taste. It's a triple win. If you don't believe we are frequent visitors, the staff can tell you our regular order we love this place and will continue to bug them too frequently! They also have taco Tuesday deals now!

The quality of food has gone down so much and the price has only increased. I eat here often bc it's the only albertos around but lately it's just been awful.. soggy taco shells..dry meat.. small drinks it's ridiculous..last straw ordering 8$ chips cheese and guacamole ripped off!! Oh and their medium drink which apparently shrank in size in 2 days! I will not be going back any time soon if at all..

One of the best carne asada burrito in the area. A cross between Roberto's and Alberto's from the 90s in San Diego.

The restaurant is small, but we were able to get a table in the back corner. It was a little snug, but honestly, our hunger was more pressing. First up--the chips and salsa were THE BOMB! That salsa was so fresh, flavorful, and had just the right kick. I could have--and pretty much did--drink it. They also brought us a bowl of beans topped with crema, and my kids were practically fighting over them. My husband and kids ordered burritos: two steak, one chile verde, and one chorizo. They were a good size and were instantly devoured, which is always a good sign! I ordered their $11 special: an enchilada, chicken taco, beans, and rice. It was flavorful, filling, and straight-up OG Mexican food. I really enjoyed my entire plate, especially for the price. My only complaint was the noise level. We had a speaker directly over our table, so the music was pretty loud, and the table next to us was a little loud as well. It made conversation a bit difficult at times. But all in all, we will definitely be back! I'm so happy we discovered another Mexican restaurant to add to our rotation. Now, La Villa... I just need that salsa recipe! I need a few cups so I can drink it! I loved learning that they've been around since 1969.

Ended up ordering burritos, tamales, enchiladas, hard and soft shell tacos, etc. - Tamales were the best. Meaty carnitas - burrito was next best. Meaty, not too much filling. I'm from NM so love the wet style. It bugged me that you have to pay extra for Christmas style. Who really likes getting charged for a lick of sauce? How much does that sauce really cost the business? Look, I walked away and I still remember you wanted to charge me some nominal fee for the sauce. I told my friends. Now I'm telling my friends on Yelp. The owner should read up on pricing psychology. He probably doesn't want to be known as the guy who charges for sauce, is my guess. - Chicken taco was a nice size and tasted ok - enchiladas were mid Salsa is only free for the first 2 servings. Even for a table of 4, that bugged me. Again, he's known now as the guy who nickels and dimes. Sigh. Ambiance is dark inside like a pub. It would look more modern and family friendly with more natural light. As most would expect out of a restaurant. We came here during a World Cup game. The game was on. That was a plus We were thinking of coming back to order the family pack. Then no one at home would charge me extra for the salsa. ha!! I read just now in another review that this place charges for hot water. Ok then, the owners is STRIVING to be the nickel and dime people. Yelpers are talking and people are listening. Do yourselves a favor and reverse these dumb pricing practices. You'll never know the business you are losing for the $2 here and $3 there. It's never worth it!

We normally get the carne asada/pollo fries and they're awesome. Fries are cooked perfectly (I swear there was a period of time where they coated the fries and that wasn't it, but thankfully they stopped), comes with the usual toppings like guacamole, onions, cilantro, etc. They top it with a hefty amount of juicy meat - both carne asada and pollo options are solid. The wet burrito was the star of my visit, big, saucy, and exactly the kind of comfort bomb you want from a spot like this. The red sauce had that perfect balance of savory and tangy, and the burrito itself was stuffed generously. Every bite was so good, so delicious! And the tacos.....Fire. The homemade tortillas make all the difference, soft, warm, and with that fresh‑masa aroma that tells you they didn't come from a plastic bag. No... no... no! They hold up beautifully to the fillings without falling apart, and they add this subtle sweetness that elevates everything. Chips and salsa were simple but solid. The chips had a good crunch, and the salsa tasted fresh, bright, and not overly blended, the kind you keep dipping into even when you tell yourself you're "saving room for the burrito." "Maybe we were just hungry..hungry huh?" The drinks were honestly refreshing as hell. True Mexican style if you're going to complete the meal....que no?
