Nice food, nice atmosphere.. Great prices to Quality. We came here and it was a fun experience We ordered fish tacos and shrimp with beans and rice. The beans were done nicely and it melted in the mouth. Shrimp was very good but it was a litt small portion. The fish tacos are very good and delicious, i would order them again. I didn't like the flan because it was hard and has strong flavor instead of jiggly and soft, but my husband liked it. I only suggest paying more attention to the level of cleanness . I would come here again to enjoy more tacos and the cool atmosphere.

The food was well prepared, and delicious. Great salsa. The dining room is spacious and inviting. The servers were friendly and engaging.

I had the fajitas quesadilla. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The rice was gummy and no taste Hubby ordered the steak fajitas. The server brought Steak quesadilla. My husband clearly ordered the beef fajitas as he ALWAYS does. The server tried to argue that he'd ordered the wrong thing until I made it VERY clear the SERVER had ordered the wrong thing my husband didn't. There were NO onions in it and also very few tomatoes. My husband said the beef tasted good but was not what he normally gets in the fajitas. Again, he ALWAYS gets this. The chips were old but the salsa was thick and good. The queso was cold and not warmed. I think we'll stick to Los Ranchos in South Haven from now on. The food is much better. Sadly after years and years of going to Los Amigos and having it be our favorite we won't be going back.

Mexican food as you expect it! Delicious and affordable. They serve freshly made tortilla chips and homemade salsa. We opted for chicken quesadillas and we were impressed with speed of the service. It felt like we had just ordered when our meals were presented ! Our quesadillas were crispy on the out side and filled with nicely seasoned chicken, tender crisp peppers and onions , and gooey melted cheese. Along side this was Spanish rice and a salad of lettuce tomato and sour cream. We opted to add a margarita-they offer many flavors but had the traditional lime on the rocks. The lime margarita was good but It'll be mango the next time. So many choices!

Update: My visit this month was amazing. Yes, I did try the fajitas again... and they were perfect! Lots of meat, cooked perfectly, and our waiter was fantastic!! Past review:Chips and salsa were great as usual -I've ordered the fajitas Amigos (chicken, beef, and shrimp) the past 2 times we've gone. Last time I noticed there wasn't much meat. This time it was very, very little meat. The serving size was good, but for $15, the dish warrants a great deal more meat instead of tiny little leftover scraps. I estimate the fish was probably 95% vegetable and 5% meat. The waiter we started with was nice but not terribly attentive -so much that we never saw him again.

This Mexican restaurant in Kalamazoo in my opinion caters towards a younger audience and gets rowdy/loud at night. The servers were not very attentive and we were waiting for drinks/ a check for awhile. Out of all the Mexican restaurants I have been too, I would say this one is on the lower end in terms of quality of food. The salsa that they hand out with the chips is still very good! My taquitos mexicanos were good, but I thought the meat was a little on the dry side. If you are looking for a loud Mexican restaurant this one might be a better fit for you then it was for me and my family trying to have a meal. Everyone I was with was not very satisfied with their food. I thought it was a mediocre experience.

I love Mexican food ! But I was a bit underwhelmed. Let me explain, I love Mexican food for the spice and the earthy goodness. The food here is well made, and comes in good quantities. Just was not what I expected. It tasted like it had been filtered through an angry vegan. (What do I mean by that ?) it was plain, no character, no caramelized crust, and no spicy zing to make me want to come back. It was like they had hired a Swedish cook to make tamales.

We have been going to Los Amigos since it has opened on stadium drive. Food has always been consistently good however the service depends on who you get. Sometimes it's excellent and you get everything you order and other times there is a language gap and it takes a few tries. Take out is another story. If you order over the phone I can almost guarantee you won't have what you actually ordered. We have learned to place our to go orders at the bar and just wait. The service is very quick so the wait is not long. The Margarita's are delicious!!!

We had not been here for a year or two. We decided to do dinner this evening there with friends. This was so great! Our cocktails were delicious. The food portions were huge. The food had flavor and was delicious. We will definitely be back!!

I had the (3) enchilada plate (Asada, chicken, shrimp) and they did not disappoint!! My partner tried the Monterey Burrito and devoured it ... I'm skeptical about Micheladas whenever they're on a menu but again it did not disappoint!! In fact it was exactly how I like it over at my favorite spot in my hometown so yeaahh that pretty much a sums it up.

Presentation - 10/10 Taste & Flavor - 10/10 When getting food here you can get a good variety of spicy and savory especially when it comes to their burgers their drinks are made with much care. Nothing is too overpowering Portion Size - 10/10 I have a very small stomach so things tend to fill me up regardless however my husband is an endless pit and the burger seemed to fill him up for the time being. It's good for a night out on the town or just drinks with friends they have a wide variety of drinks and drafts and a good burger. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already they live up to the hype.

We arrived exactly at 4 PM after seeing this weekly promotion on social media. Upon arrival, the venue was empty, yet we were completely denied access to bowling due to a private event, and told that no bowling customers would be allowed until 6 PM. Before anything else, I want to clarify an important point: "Free" does not mean customers should be treated poorly. Free events are often meant to introduce people to a business, attract new customers, and create a welcoming first impression. Offering something for free does not justify rude behavior, dismissive communication, or shifting responsibility onto customers. Respect and basic courtesy should apply regardless of whether an event is paid or free. What bothered me most was not being turned away, but the blame-shifting that followed. When a business publicly advertises "Free Bowling Wednesdays" and encourages people to show up at 4 PM, it is reasonable for customers to rely on that information. Adding the word "limited" on social media posts does not communicate that no bowling customers are allowed at all until 6 PM due to a private event. Those are two very different messages. Instead of acknowledging the lack of clear communication, the responsibility was shifted onto us as customers with statements like "you should have called." This is unfair. Customers should not be expected to double-check an advertised public event by phone when no such instruction was mentioned. What made the experience more disappointing was the lack of empathy no apology, no ownership of the confusion, and no attempt to acknowledge how frustrating it is to arrive on time to an empty venue and still be denied entry. This review is not about complaining. It's about accountability. Clear communication and basic courtesy go a long way, and this situation could have been handled very differently with a simple acknowledgment and apology.

Had they informed me that a shorter bowl would result in me getting in sooner, I would've selected a shorter timespan. Either way, I decided to give them a chance, selected a seltzer (the cheapest at around .35 cents/ounce) and my drink came out to $10! It left me confused. Then proceed to go drink and watch the bowlers and there were 3 open lanes out of 4. For 20+ minutes, not a single group came in to bowl. As I was watching, it became increasingly clear that the host at the entrance wasn't trained to ensure everyone gets a chance, or for clear communication. Only positive? My drink was good, the few customers in there seemed to enjoy themselves. Just don't come to bowl, you wont get in. Look at the previous reviews, I am not the first to complain about this. Also, it looks like whomever is supposed to be checking these reviews doesn't care as there seem to be no responses to rectify these issues.

We stopped by around 1 PM on a Saturday! It was super busy and packed! I love that it's family-friendly! It was fun seeing all of the kids running around and playing games - there are SO many games (two full rooms) from air hockey to arcades games to darts to duckpin bowling to pinball machines to pool tables - they literally have it all! Our daughter enjoyed playing ALL the games while my husband and I enjoyed our beer flights and waited for our food! Food: Our daughter ordered the Kids Mac and Cheese with Kettle Chips. The mac and cheese was cold and dry and her kettle chips were cold and stale. She did not enjoy her meal at all! I wonder if her food sat out while my husband and I's food was being prepared as my kettle chips were more fresh and actually tasted good! I ordered the Cuban with Kettle Chips. This was probably the best Cuban sandwich I have ever had (and I have had quite a few Cuban sandwiches in my lifetime)! The pork was smoked and absolutely delicious and tender! They were not skimpy on the pork either (like some other restaurants can be when ordering a Cuban sandwich)! The bread was perfectly toasted too! My husband ordered Buffalo Wingdings. These were perfectly smoked and fall-off-the-bone good as well (maybe a little too fall-off-the-bone for a wing though)! However, the chicken wings still tasted great! Drinks: My Flight - Straight Forward, Grandpa's Hard, Bad Adz, BBA Wizard Potion, and Bogged Down. Husband's Flight - Stained Glass, Ripped Right, Bad Add, Rogue Red, and Simco. These were all good and we enjoyed them! We will definitely stop by again if we are ever back in the area!

The fact that you can't see it's layout from the ground floor lends to the allure. All this is to say that I created a legend in my head that sadly wasn't true. Skydeck was interesting, fun for a night, and not much more. Perhaps it's for this reason that I gave it an average rating. But I also think that there were a few flaws regarding the space and I'll lay them out here. First and foremost, you pay a premium to be in this space, both in the form of a cover ($10, nothing insane) and an apparent tariff on the drinks (maybe it's handling fees for hauling it all up so high?). Either way, you should expect to be a bit gouged for cash. Not all of the drinks are insane, but mixed drinks are pricey, and some of their "signature" drinks top $12. Now, initially, this might seem like a fair trade: a bit extra for high quality drinks and a higher quality view. But here's the rub: it's a small space, it's packed, and the edge seats go first. For me and my group to enjoy the breathtaking view of Kalamazoo, we would have to stand or share tables. It's difficult to blame them for being popular. That being said, I don't really feel like we received the main feature of the venue. A friend of mine put it sagely: it's a great date spot, or celebration, but you don't go their to drink. You go there for the experience. Therefore, this won't become one of my "regular spots." Here are some positives to end on: -Amazing view of the city -Great ambiance, especially at night -Wonderful service -Elevator!
