I've walked by this place a million times and never cared. Finally went in. It's long and narrow -- basically the perfect old-school Mexican diner setup. Counter stools, booths, open kitchen. Same vibe as Max & Helen's, except instead of a $20 waffle you get tacos and burritos... and no wait. They've got beer and even a happy hour (which they should advertise way more). Honestly feels like it could be a solid football -- aka soccer -- watch spot. If they added margaritas? This place would be packed for this location. That said... it could lean harder into the vibe. Dim the lights. Make it moodier. Give it a little El Comadre energy so people actually stay and drink instead of just eat and bounce. Menu situation is confusing though. The screens show different prices than the printed menu. My enchiladas were more expensive than what the screen said -- not a great look. Also, my food got cold before I even ate it -- and it was to-go and only about 10 minutes later. That's frustrating. Still better than Mr. Tempo, but that's a low bar. I went to this place to get a carne asada burrito and specifically to try their red and green sauces. When I was ordering, I specifically asked if the burrito came with the red and green sauces shown in several of the pictures on their menu and in their overhead video displays. The guy taking my order said, "Of course. He said we don't pour them on the burrito but rather they come as a side. However, when he brought the burrito, instead of the sauces shown in the pictures, he brought two small table top containers with an orange-colored sauce and an olive-colored sauce. They were the factory-made kind they put on the counter all day long and did not taste good. They were clearly not the fresh red and green sauces I had expected. I didn't say anything at first. While I was eating, a young girl walked in to pick up a to-go order, and the same guy who took my order gave her the actual red and green sauces in clear plastic containers. It was obvious that they were completely different sauces from the ones he had given me. I stood up and asked him specifically whether what he gave me was the same as the two sauces he gave to the girl. He lied right to my face and said they were the same, even though I could clearly see they were completely different. For one thing, one of the sauces he gave me was orange, while the sauce he gave her was red. I asked him two more times, and he lied again and again instead of simply offering me what he had actually given to the other customer. I have had these kinds of sauces at many Mexican restaurants and eateries for more than 30 years, and I am very familiar with all types of sauces. The burrito itself was mostly beans and rice and contained very little carne asada. It was also considerably smaller than the burritos served at other Mexican restaurants in the area. I got the Chicken Burrito and the Al Pastor Burritos which came with chips and salsa. The burritos were average at best. Stale and dry, and a ton of beans mixed with rice and meat. That was it. Lacked a lot of flavor. The sauces were old. The green sauce had formed to the shape of the container with water surrounding it and mold growing on top! The salsa was also watered down. What a great surprise to stop into. We were coming to get a refreshing jugo/smoothie, but when we came into the establishment the food said to sit down and order in. What a wonderful decision this was. Momma and I ordered and split the wet carne asada burrito. It was HUGE and full of delicious meat and beans. The side of guacamole was also fresh and tasted really good on a hot day. The burrito was more than filling for Momma and I as we walked the Walk of Fame that is DIRECTLY outside of this restaurant and almost in the middle of the star walk. The restaurant is huge and has plenty of seating inside an air conditioner. The restrooms were clean and stocked with supplies. The chips and salsa were also fresh and really delicious. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE CHIPS AND SALSA and these passed the test for sure. The service was phenomenal! From when my Momma and I walked in the building we were sat immediately and served chips and salsa and ice cold water. Refreshing and delicious. The food came hot and quickly and was served with a very friendly smile and great energy. Momma and I sat, ate and listened some great music as we spent our time together. Now......they have a selection of smoothies and jugos..... I will warn you now. It's going to be really hard to pick one, because they are all delicious. Los Burritos is a no frills, no nonsense establishment. This is an old school spot, with bright fluorescent lighting, plastic utensils and styrofoam cups - What's not to like! The luncheonette style counter with stools is cool, and more importantly, the food isn't bad. We ordered the Vegetable Burrito, Crunchy Chicken Taco and a Bean & Cheese Burrito. Everything was good. The Chips & Salsa were complimentary. The chips were a tad bit stale but the salsa was tasty. The service is very friendly, and the prices are cheap. Also, they don't add any silly fees to the bill. What do you eat when you are up super early to do a hollywood tour, you find a burrito spot. This was highly recommended and open at the time. The food is cool to order so it takes awhile it to be prepared. I ordered the burrito bowl salad. When I tell you it was a lot of food. I tried to same some for later but it filled me up fast. I ordered from here through DoorDash and am giving it a 5 star rating because I was honestly shocked at how good the food was at the given prices. I've had plenty of Meixcan food sitting in the restaurant and getting delivery and I was thoroughly impressed with the delivery from here. I ordered the: - Taquitos whoich was stuffed with shredded beef and came with a huge scoop of gaucamole. - Tamale which was also stuffed with shredded beef and topped with salsa. Some places don't give you additional salasa which makes eating the tamale a bit dry. -Chicken Enchiladas they give you 2 big ones with a side of rice and beans. I had to eat this in 2 sittings. -Pork Chile Burrito it's stuffed to the brim and has great flavors. Also couldn't finish this in one sitting. Will definitely order from here again. So I was on a mission to find the perfect halloween costume and was shopping at a store across the street and asked where I could find a bathroom and they said Los burritos across the street. So I went dressed up looking like I just came from the office and asked to use the restroom. The lady said no I had to eat inside it's the rules. I asked if I could just go really quick, she said no I could go next door for $5. So I said fine I'll eat here. She said sorry no. So I said again I will dine in get me the taco. So she looked at her manager and they took my order of a $5 small shrimp taco. Lucky for me I was starving and was planning to eat after shopping, I just didn't plan on getting Mexican food. So the owner gives me the shrimp taco and I saw that they were giving chips and salsa to other "dine in" customers so I asked where were mine and they gave them to me (I felt like they weren't going to if I didn't ask). The food was actually really good. It's definitely overpriced and I understand there's a lot of homeless in area and they can't let them use the restroom, but when a shopper/customer asks to use the restroom, they shouldn't be forced to sit in a restaurant and eat. I won't be coming back here, I can get the same quality tacos for cheaper and better service elsewhere. read more

I'm not going to give you a one-star review because I actually like the food but now that I can see here on Yelp that your hours were updated 3 months ago it upsets me that on the worlds most used search engine, Google, you haven't. I came in placed my order... Paid in cash right before 9pm. I work NEXT DOOR and every time I order I'm told 10 to 15 mins. Order was $15 and change. I have a 20 tipped the change and went back NEXT DOOR to my work. I was finishing up with a customer about 917pm. Walked back to the restaurant and at 920pm you closed!?!? What upsets me the most is that was my dinner, you never mentioned anything about closing, took my order and payment and pretty much left? I'm 6'2", very deep voice, and ALWAYS wearing my establishment's MERCH and not one employee recognized me or thought to leave my order NEXT DOOR as you walked right by it on your way to your vehicles? As I said I have no issue with the quality of the food here nor the service. It's so close to my new place that I can it in my sleep lol. I dropped by here after the gym one night, but didn't really know what to expect. I'm impressed by the quality of food and service here. I ordered and iced tea, with a California Burrito (chicken). Not sure what the brand of tea is, but it was quite tasty. Just straight up iced tea, with not sweetener. The complimentary chips and salsa are much appreciated. Both the regular salsa and the hot salsa are wonderful. Even better if you mix the 2! The California Burrito was delicious, with bits of crunchy potatoes inside. Loved every bite. Check out my photos. The two ladies working that night were very friendly. Brought my food, more salsa when I asked for some, and refilled my iced tea. Prices aren't bad, because you do get a lot of food. There seems to be plenty of seating inside, but I don't know what it's like when busy. Not super impressed by the décor, but I don't think it matter much at a place like this. The eggs I ordered as Over Easy, came cooked over well and hard as rocks. To say I was very disappointed is an understatement. I have eaten at their Sunset Blvd. location by Kaiser hospital often and have always received great service and great food made as ordered. Tldr; Tasty food with a lot of options. Downside is they use a lot of oil! Came here to get some relatively healhier food option on Hollywood Blvd, and the food was pretty decent. Most Mexican places around only have the classic Burritos/Quesadillas/Tacos option, but thisnplace had A LOT of variety. My boyfriend and I both went for the Pollo Asada plate, which was 2 pieces of grilled chicken breast, a side salad, rice and beans. I asked to sub my rice and beans for the fajita veggies instead to lower the calories. Unfortunately, that made things worse, since the vegetables were literally drenched in oil! I used around 4 napkins to absorb it until they couldn't hold any more oil, but that still wasn't enough! I ended up just asking for some extra salad instead. The server was very sweet and gave me the salad with a smile on her face. Quite a pleasant surprise! The chicken also had a fair amount of oil in it, so I had to press that between some napkins too. It was seasoned really well though, and my boyfriend and I hope enjoyed it. They also serve some Tortilla Chips and Pico de Gallo when you sit down. The chips were nice and crispy, but I only had 2 pieces coz I noticed when we entered that they're deep fried. Overall a good experience with nice food. Let me start off by saying their Steak Super Burrito was my absolute go to for literally YEARS. Could call for a delivery and would arrive in a heartbeat by the nicest delivery personnel one could ask for. NOW TO PRESENT DAY..., I know they changed ownership/management at this location a while back....for a bit everything kept its traditional look and feel but wow....slowly but surely everything and I mean EVERYTHING started to change for the worst. Prices went up - totally understandable for the Hollywood area with competition in every direction around but at the very least keep the food quality the same. Nope, drinks started tasting off, portions got smaller, chicken became dry and bland, Super Burrito turned into a weak excuse of a burrito. Staff is always rude with no ambition to keep their loyal patrons nor care if a new customer were to come back. Customer service is non existent here now - called in for a delivery, they sent the wrong drink, no big deal, but when I called to let them know there was a mistake on my order, not the first time its happened either, mind you, I didnt expect anyone to come running to swap it, just an attempt of preventing it from happening again...they decided the years and years of praise and support meant nothing and came to a conclusion they would no longer deliver to me. The best thing about this burrito is the barbacoa and the fact they include chips and salsa in the $7.5 is a bonus but after adding sour cream and guacamole this thing is $9.50. I usually love everything from this restaurant. But today I ordered the Menudo soup- I called the restaurant to make sure they added hominy to the soup. The lady who answered the phone reassured me that it would be added because I mentioned to her that last time they did not. Welp, my soup came and NO HOMINY! We discovered Los Burritos by accident and made a point of seeking it out again. We arrived tired and hungry on Hollywood Blvd after a long flight and bus ride from LAX. The restaurant isn't far from the bus stop so we wandered in. What a delight! If you like Mexican food - and we do - you will love this place. There is a saying that you should not eat in an ethnic restaurant if there is no one of that ethnicity eating there. No worries, as there seemed to be plenty of Mexican clientele. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and there is plenty of it. On the first visit i had the shrimp quesadilla which was full of melted cheese. On the second i had a salad that arrived in an edible fried tortilla bowl. It contained shredded lettuce hiding a very generous portion of refritos, a dollop of guacamole, grilled chicken strips and a golfball of sour cream. Delicious but i couldn't finish it. Oh, and the staff are lovely. Very friendly and helpful. If ever we are back in LA, we will definitely eat here again. read more

Los Burritos is located on Hollywood Blvd, you may have passed it many times without noticing it. It's just a block down from Cahuenga and close to all the bars and clubs. Walking in I thought it was a takeout type place but to my surprise it was a sit down restaurant. It is the type of place I have been looking for...a hole in the wall, there is nothing fancy about this place. Contrary to what other reviewers reported, I thought the taquitos were good but the meat had a BBQ sauce flavor which I didn't care for. I ordered the chicken taco and tamale combo. I had plenty of food leftover to make another meal. The chicken taco was good, they provided a generous amount of meat and the flavor was good. The tamales wasn't bad. One of my favorite places on Hollywood Blvd. However, like many other restaurants their food quality has suffered since Covid. I usually rotate my favorite dishes so that I do not tire of them. However, the food doesn't measure up to what it use to be. For instance, I ordered a bean, cheese, and rice burrito this past week (my favorite). When I cut into the burrito, the cheese was not melted and just fell out in chunks (still cold). The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has the BEST green salsa in the area.
