Ordered to-go over the phone during this pandemic. Person was nice over the phone and didn't sigh when changed the order. We order three chimichangas. This is my first chimichanga, ever. The ordered was two ground beef and one chicken. They came with rice and beans. Sour cream that was slightly on top but went to the side during transport. Presentation was pleasant with red salsa on top. They do offer the option of green salsa on top. The taste of the chimichanga was all I could hope for in a Mexican meal. Not too spicy but just enough. Their was a good amount of cheese in there. The tortilla had a nice fried taste. The chimichanga was very filling. I ate the rice and beans the next day, which were excellent. Can't wait to order again. They also have daily specials that look and sound amazing. read more

Omg, the Texas tacos are addictive, maybe the best tacos I've had, maybe so good they put the restaurant in the running as the best on AMI. The tacos are a special. So not on the everyday menu. Consider yourself lucky if you find them on the specials board. read more

Going to Los Chiludos is ALWAYS a great idea. The food is fresh, quick and delicious. Plus they make a perfect margarita! During the week you order at the counter and they bring it to your table but on the weekends they have table service. I have tried just about everything on the menu but the fresh guac and sopes are my favorites. Make sure you check their hours before stopping by, they close by 8pm most days. Plus the size of chips they give you is huge Customer service was also great. Everyone in there was very friendly! If you want to have the in my opinion greatest Mexican food in western Pennsylvania and quite possibly the entire East Coast - I highly recommend trying Los Chiludos . Last night we ordered takeout and it was phenomenal. The homemade chips are to die for along with the guacamole. I got the Carnitas and Al Pastor burrito which was to die for. We also got shrimp tacos and shredded chicken enchiladas. Everything was fresh and top-notch. The staff is very friendly as well as the environment is very clean. Went here on a Monday at lunchtime. Not crowded, staff greeted us warmly. It was Margarita Monday, of course we got two frozen mango margaritas. They were tasty. This place is a shell of what it once was. I'm guessing they are just cashing in on what they built. They no longer have lunch specials. No longer offer mini chili combos. They are closed with no warning multiple times ruining my lunch hour. They still don't have inside seating even though covid mitigation has been lifted for over two months. I will be finding a new place rather than rolling the dice on this place. I see el campasino is opening in the old Max and Ermas 8 minutes away. I hope they are better than what's happened to Los Chiludos. read more

OMG! SOOOO freaking good! We got the Mexican Egg Rolls the first time we went, and they hooked us! And the queso and chips are delicious! We've had the soft tacos and the hard tacos, the chimichanga and the birria bowl, and have been very pleased with each one. I want to recommend this establishment because it's so great, but I don't want anyone to know about it because it's it's a small place, and I need to get in without the mob this place would create if more people knew about it!!! It's like we're eating in Mexico again! There is one item I do want to address. For those of you that have the "soap" issue with cilantro like I do, steer clear of the salsas; they all have it. First off - I was expecting an Authentic Mexican restaurant but this place is more of a Baja California vibe ... and it's DELICIOUS! The inside is quaint but very clean, the service is super friendly and all the staff have more of a family vibe. (you can tell these people love their jobs) I don't think anything on this menu could possibly disappoint - the steak tacos were fantastic, the cheese dip wasn't your typical queso you'd expect but every bit amazing (more of a chili con queso minus the spice), and the food comes out quickly and fresh! This is a takeout place. First off the food was amazing. I had a chicken platter that was out of this world. The reason for the four star review. It's all takeout right now, which I don't understand. I ordered a margarita and it was pre-made in a cup. I don't really like takeout. There is outside seating to enjoy your meal. You have to go inside and order, then get your food. We ordered a mix of tacos, cheese dip, salad etc. I ordered the taco salad with shredded chicken, I highly recommend, it was the best taco salad I've ever had and everyone with me agreed it was the best Mexican we've ever had! We tried to eat dinner here on July 30th. Unfortunately we were discriminated against as my husband had his service dog in training with him. Tera, the owner, was incredibly rude and even though we tried educating her on the ADA LAW she refused to seat us inside. She did offer for us to sit outdoors, at the one small table on the sidewalk in the direct unshaded 90+ degree sun. So we had a delicious dinner at Wicked Cantina instead. Great little Mexican restaurant! Located in Southpointe- not sure why I waited 5 months to try out this little gem . FRESH is what they advertise and fresh it was ! It has all the makings of your favorite neighborhood joint - small quaint place , friendly and happy staff , loyal clientele and ofcourse great food ! Just before I forget mentioning it - They have $3 Coronas on thursdays! The food is great! - we tried the carnitas platter - the Pork was delicious and it's got guacamole, salsa , rice and beans along with the tortillas on the side . It really is a filling meal - had it for lunch and surely there was no dinner needed :) The shrimp volcano I thought was a little expensive and probably did not have the zing that we were expecting based on the name - still nice though . Chiludos is my pick for the best tacos in town. I have gone there at least 20 times in the past year simply because I know every time, my tummy will be happy! Chips and guac plus queso. Their chips are crunchy and a bit thicker than your average chip. Guac is basic and does the job without any addition of lime, tomatoes, etc. Get some with your meal. Tacos, what can I say? Chorizo continually on point with the right amounts of spiciness and meat. The carnitas, carne asada, shrimp or fish tacos - you just cannot go wrong here. The plates arrive hot and meat is never dry or overcooked. I like 'em with extra onions and cilantro, topped with their hot spicy salsa. Lastly, finish that deliciousness with either a beer or a Mexican soda. Just a quick note about service, they could do a little better on speed and timing as on several occasions we had to ask for the whereabouts of our food! ;) read more
