    Watermelon margarita

I got the watermelon margarita it was absolutely delicious!!! I also got the chicken shrimp and steak fajita hot plate. So good! The service was good too, it wasn't crowded... anyway, I would definitely go back!

If you can't eat meat on Friday's or if you're craving enchiladas, then come check this place out. This place is a mom and pop place, not to be confused with Los Cucos. Don't let the exterior scare you away. Their restaurant is in a small shopping area and features the best cheese enchiladas in town bar none. Old phrase (look it up kids). If you can name a place that's better, please share. I mean, look at that cheesy goodness. The portions are big and is a great bang for the buck. The refried beans have a smokey flavor and are well blended, while the rice is light and fluffy. Everything is delicious. You really can't go wrong. If you are on this side of town, it's a must try.

Beef fajita tacos plate with charro beans.

This restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. I ordered the beef fajita taco plate with charro beans. The beans were probably one of the best I've ever eaten and the rest of the food was Just as delicious. The green sauce was nice and spicy and I could drink the red salsa it was so good. The server was nice and attentive. I will definitely be back!!!

I had nooo idea of this place until one day we were down the street super hungry but were craving Mexican food! In this area there isn't a lot of variety when it comes to restaurants, mainly fast food places. OMG I absolutely enjoyed this food!! The food was soo authentic and made fast with a perfect presentation just as shown in their pics! I will definitely keep coming back here again.

    Hamburger was exceptionally great

Tortillas freshly cooked light, not a trace of grease. The two choices for a dip were very good. Orchata (drink) freshly home made and 12 on a scale of 10. The tamales were excellent. I opted for the Chili Relleno was excellent and actually had a bite to it. The black beans were well cooked and very tasty. The rice was good. Pat opted for the hamburger and said it rated in his top 10. Rocco had the enchilada which was excellent. Everything was fresh and well cooked and reasonably priced.

Amazing omelette with many delicious trappings

[warning: rave review] This is the best spot I've been to in Houston!! I went here twice the same day I discovered it -- slightly embarrassing. For breakfast I got their omelette that came with many wonderful accouterments. I got out for under $10 for nothing short of a feast. In the evening, I tried their homemade molè. It was wonderful and so reasonably priced. Eating here felt like I was visiting someone's house. Everyone was really friendly, especially the Chef, Francisco!

When I come down to visit my family. This is one of my "let's go get breakfast" places. Food is made with a touch of Puebla and has never disappointed.

    a bowl of vegetables

They should be ashamed of selling this overpriced food. I tried the beef soup. I attached the pictures of what I received. Yes! They just opened a can of vegetables and call it beef soup. The first red flag was the cashier with attitude and then that she charged more of what was described online. This should be the worse mexican restaurant in Houston.

    What a disappointment.. smh

High prices... No flavor. It's sad when Mexicans can't cook Mexican food. Guess they were trained by white people.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

It was my first time trying out Tex mex style. It was so busy on a Saturday evening. The chips that were given to each table was incredibly warm and the sauces paired so well. Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. We will most definitely return.

We ordered the breakfast burrito and the duck carnitas. We added barbacoa to the burrito, and it was honestly the definition of comfort food. It was EXTREMELY greasy though, so I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. If I had been home alone... I probably would've just shoved the whole thing in my mouth. I couldn't not order the duck carnitas. It came on a sope, which is basically my definition of the perfect Mexican brunch. It was really yummy, and I especially loved the salsa that came with it. My only real critique is that the portions felt a little on the smaller side. Either bump them up a bit or add a small side, because I definitely could've eaten a little more.
