The chicken fajitas were delicious. The service was great and very attentive. Large group of seniors with separate checks can be challenging but our waitress did not miss a beat. The large table was near the rear of restaurant but worked great. Conversations were easy even though the place was busy. Definitely my go to for good Tex Mex. Great food and service. Came here for breakfast and loved everything, even the coffee.

This place is good enough. The queso is very greasy- I did add beef to it so that may have aided to it but it really seemed that it was cheaper cheese. I got the chicken quesadilla and it was huge, and good. However the burrito (burrito teotihuacan) I got was awful. It was really wet and the tortilla tasted like wet mush. I think this could be elevated if they grilled the burrito after it is made and then add the sauce- the normal tortilla just leached in the sauce and killed it. The service was not great- our drinks sat empty for a long time and they took our chips before we were done with the queso so the queso just sat. The restaurant was clean in the inside but the menus were filthy and could have used a good cleaning. There was also a very long black hair in my burrito that was not mine, as I have very short hair. I tried to bring it to the waitress' attention but she was too busy to talk. I also paid with a $50 bill and I don't think she thought it was real and had to ask a manager if it was right. read more

This location has sunken its feet into the neighborhood and that's great. This local chain is well established after many many years. Food and service are always spot on. As a former resident of Westbury we still eat here when possible and are never disappointed. The owners are some of the nicest people in the industry. Check their other locations, esp Airline at N Main. Delma was our waitress and she wasn't anything as described and all smiles with us. Everybody's food was very good but as usual there were issues. My son ordered the mixed beef and chicken poblano fajitas. What he got was the mixed plate with a little non-poblano sauce on the chicken, when he talked to the waitress about the problem she showed up with some poblano sauce, when the bill arrived there was an upcharge for the sauce. It's just a lot quieter here on the weeknights where we would be the only diners at 8:30pm. It turns out that it's because it closes at 9pm. If for whatever reason you are in Southwest Houston, I'd encourage you to give them your business rather than the popular Tex-Mex joints in Meyerland or taquerias in Sharpstown. It's the right combination of quality and quantity. They also sell a variety of alcoholic drinks, including piña coladas and margaritas. The last time I was here I ordered the chicken fajita quesadillas and a house margarita. The food came quickly and tasted pretty good. I like my margaritas strong, and this one just missed the mark. But it was still good. And as you can see, the quesadilla was pretty big. Definitely shareable. This restaurant is becoming one of my go-tos for Mexican food. Also I just wanted to add that there is nothing wrong with this neighborhood. I am reviewing this place from a vegetarian point of view. The first time I visited Teotihuacan, I did not see many vegetarian options. Only the spinach/ mushroom enchiladas and quesadillas. I decided to try the enchiladas. I felt they were a bit too creamy for me. Not worth the price. The next time I went to the restaurant, I tried to see it they could customize a cheese enchilada with vegetables. They could not as it was not on the menu. Each meal comes with rice and beans. The beans are cooked in lard and same with the rice. After hearing this, I decided to get the quesadillas which were with mushrooms inside. I did not enjoy the quesadilla. It was oily. They came with a bit of sour cream, guacamole, and vegetables on side. When we got our bill, it was $30 dollars for one quesadilla and they charged us $10 for vegetables. They ended up fixing our bill but we ended up with about $18 quesadillas which we did not enjoy. To sum up if your a vegetarian I would not recommend this place. read more

There are so many options that I was overwhelmed about what to order when I was in Houston. I settled on the pollo ixtapa which was absolutely phenomenal. For $19.99, I got a huge piece of moist chicken breast topped with tons of green peppers, mushrooms, AND shrimp. I was nervous about the garlic, butter, and wine sauce but it was delectable. Excellent service! Waitresses are efficient and caring, making the flow in the place the best! I was only there for lunch on a weekday so it was not extra busy but they had their good amount of customers (at least 15 people). We had beef enchiladas, they were real nice Texas (big) size. Flavors were great! Sides were just fine, rice, refried beans, chips, all standard taste and freshness. Plenty variety of dishes to choose from and there are also plenty lunch specials. Prices are quite acceptable for "strip mall" tex-mex food. The place could try refreshing the general looks and updating booths and furniture. But other than this, I definitely recommend and will stop by again if around that area. read more

Trying to find a good mexican food place close to Missouri City. Menu looks OK and prices are reasonable. We tried the enchilada plates (spinach plate and beef fajita/chicken) and they were both pretty good with more than enough food to qualify as two meals each. My wife loved the spinach enchiladas and they were huge! The Spanish rice was tasty, but the refried beans were a little bland.
