Prices are very expensive for some plantain and two sides $45 what a rip off would not even send my worst enemy there.

It's a cute, small Spanish restaurant. I randomly stopped by one night very late to grab some food…read more I arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but they still let me sit and place an order, which I appreciated. The restaurant has a small outdoor area on a little veranda, and the indoor area that isn't very big either. The design of the place is simple but pretty. The menu offers a nice variety - from small tapas to large main dishes like paella. I decided to try two hot tapas: ham croquettes and octopus with boiled potatoes. The croquettes were good, but not super delicious. The octopus dish, however, tasted fantastic; I really enjoyed it! Price-wise, the place does seem a bit pricey. For 4 small pieces of Serrano ham croquettes I paid $13, and the octopus was $20. Tapas usually don't cost that much, even at many other restaurants around Miami that I've been to. And considering that the croquettes were just okay in quality, I definitely think they should lower the prices a bit. Another annoying thing about this place - the 18% tip is automatically included in the bill. I truly hate when restaurants in Miami do that! And honestly, in this case, I wouldn't have tipped my waitress that high. She wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. She gave me literally 2 minutes to choose my food (yes, I know I came late, but still...), took my order, brought it, and only came back once she noticed I had finished, just to ask if I was ready for the check. She didn't even ask how the food was. In my opinion, this wasn't 18% tip-worthy service. To sum up: I'm glad I tried this place. I might come back one day to try something else from the menu. I can recommend this restaurant, but be prepared - your final bill won't be cheap.

Wonderful, old restaurant with the BEST meat!…read more The restaurant is small- more seating outside. The parking lot is non-existent, so you try to find parking on the street and not get towed, or you pay $10 for valet. We were a party of 4. We were sat immediately on a Thursday night at 7pm. It continued to get busier as the night went on. The ladies split a bottle of a white blend. It was delicious. The men each had a glass of Malbec. We ordered the Procuitto and burrata salad as an appetizer. It was huge. Perfect to split amongst the 4 of us. We also ordered the beef empanada to share. It was really good! They brought out some warm bread with butter and tomatoes. For dinner we all ordered the Vacio, except my daughter ordered the gnocchi with braised beef. We were enjoying everything so much that I didn't take pictures before we were almost finished eating. Everything was amazing! The steak was so tender! Cooked to perfection! Very tasty. We asked for some chimichurri and they brought us some small (2 tablespoons) cups of it. I had the roasted potatoes on the side. My husband had the fries. You could tell that the fries were handmade. For dessert we shared the panqueque with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream. It was really good! The service was great. Plenty of people waiting on you, refilling your water, and checking on you. I look forward to returning again.

This place was packed , alive and energetic. Customers were lined up waiting and honestly were enjoying themselves while waiting with family, friends and significant others. I was with a group of 5 , waited on the outside while having a nice cold IPA and was seated in about 10 minutes. Service was amazing. Very kind , attentive and delivered with smiles on their faces. Food was nothing short of amazing. The Picanha steak was one of the best steak i have had in a very long time. Served medium rare with a char and simply delicious. I will go out and say this... the desert was one of the best i have ever had. I will leave it at that until you see the picture and come try for yourself. My hats off to the amazing staff for this amazing experience and delicious food.

She kindly asked us to wait a bit and promised she would find space for us, and she did! We waited about 30 minutes and made the most of it by enjoying a drink next door at a Haitian pizzeria. And let me say... every single minute of that wait was absolutely worth it. From the moment we sat down, everything was exceptional. The service, especially from Grace was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The wine Vallegarcia Viognier 2022 selection was excellent and perfectly complemented our meal. We started with the mushroom croquettes and beef carpaccio, both outstanding. My friends had the octopus and couldn't stop raving about it. I ordered the fish, and it was simply amazing, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. And then came dessert... the cheesecake. We ordered one to share among the four of us, and it was so incredibly good that even those of us who didn't plan on having something sweet couldn't resist. Truly unforgettable. Idan Bistro delivers not only incredible food, but also heart and hospitality. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Most dishes are shareable. I had ordered 3 because I was not sure what to expect being that I was on my own. 3 dishes was too much for just me but I did enjoy them all. I had mushroom croquettes, beef tartare and a pumpkin rice (felt more like a risotto) yum!!! I def took some home and was able to share some of my delicious experience with others. Service was kind and attentive. The overall aesthetics felt a bit cold, for me to lacked warmth. Considering this to be a more elevated experience for me the ambiance was a miss. It was exactly what I was craving; every bite felt like heaven. I ordered the pollo guisado and salami with tostones (fried plantains), which they had as a special. I arrived closer to the evening and they served me quickly and were very loving. It was pretty much empty, so I think that played a big role, though they mentioned it gets quite active on the weekends. It's like a club, bar, and restaurant all in one. Regardless, I would definitely recommend checking them out. It's a Dominican-based restaurant, so expect a Dominican crowd. If you know how Dominicans are, don't be afraid, surprised, or offended; they are sweet people regardless of the way they speak.

I ordered what looked to be a delicious looking chicken stew on the menu, but I received a pile of cold vegetables, a few tiny pieces of chicken with mostly bones, and a mound of something that looked like rice but tasted like ass. I would've probably given them two stars out of pity since the bartender herself was nice enough... However, when I got about a block away after leaving, an older woman came running out and screamed at me to return to the restaurant. She loudly demanded an explanation for why I didn't eat it. I said I'm sorry but it wasn't good, and she shooed me out the door while continuing to shout at the top of her lungs. If you're going to chase someone down like that, you better be ready for the answer.
