We had the most amazing experience at Edan. It was a large party and we were still treated with such care and they were so quick and attentive. They portioned out all the dishes to come out and truly everything was sooo divine. The mushroom croquettes make you want to lick the plate clean and they have a nice crunch with a pillowy inside. The pan con tomate, although simple, you can tell they use great ingredients because it was so flavorful and well balanced. And finishing with the stunning steak, cooked to perfection and not over sauced so we could truly appreciate the flavor of the meat. Edan does food well and they know it!

Made a resy here after watching a few videos on it and I can say that I totally recommend. The service was intentional and friendly. The chef came by the table and greeted us. Vibe is relaxed and modern. The food was good. Had the mushroom croquettes which were insane. The steak tartare was good but would have like the meat in smaller pieces but that's just my preference. The corn and blue crab pasta was delicious and inventive. The steak was good but because it's so thick it was not evenly cooked but still delicious. All in all a great date night experience. Almost forgot, the basque cheesecake was top tier!

Edan Bistro was simply magnificent! I was so looking forward to enjoying dinner with friends and family after having tasted two dishes at Eeeatsacon(foodie festival) a few weeks back. Warmest of welcomes, and great suggestions for wines; you're able to taste what is offered in a glass and I settled for a Rioja Tempranillo La Sirval so delicious. While we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We ordered their mushroom croquettes and jamon Iberico croquettes. Each has their own sauce but the mushroom ones were my favorite, but the other ones were also really delicious. Next the crawfish with green peas in a white wine sauce and fresh spongy sourdough bread...ooh heaven! We wanted to order everything on the menu, ha..but we decided on the pumpkin creamy rice with aïoli truffle, meat broth, micro greens, absolutely spectacular! Salty..just a touch of sweet perfection! Paired with the Lamb Rack with cauliflower puree, Demi glacé tender, juicy so good and Crowning glory dish was the Dry-aged Boneless Ribeye! With coarse sea salt medium to medium rare temp! To die for! Melt in your mouth! A must for the carnivore in you! Came with crispy potato wedges. And to wrap up the night, their famous Basque Cheesecake!! No price too big for heaven! Creamy, perfect, can't stop eating it. One of the best desserts in Miami!! Recommend going with several ppl to share and split. Parking lot right next to the street where the restaurant is. Cute small place on the corner of 6th and 125 ave. Top of my favorite places in town. All around 5 Stars! Hidden tip: Cotoa is on the same street 1door down!

Got that chance to try out their basque cheesecake during an event called eeeatscon in bayside and I have to say it's probably the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life period. The outside is perfectly cooked and the inside is slightly under baked making the experience worth every bite.

Hole in the wall in north Miami serving up amazing basque food. I initially tried this place at eats con last year and the steak was incredible. We loved the mushroom croquetas, ribeye, and basque cheesecake. Probably one of the best steaks in town and cheesecake is outstanding! Pumpkin rice could have used some salt

This place is absolute perfection. They do not need pretentious decorations in the restaurant. They let the food do the talking. When you walk in, the dining area is very simple and plain. (In a great way). The space is clean and open. I would recommend making reservations given that it is a small dining area. We did walk in and they were able to accommodate us thankfully. The staff is so lovely. We were attended by different people, but everyone was on point making sure we were taken care of. From the moment we sat down, we were given the menus and fresh ice cold water. When our waitress came to take our order she made great wine recommendations and let us know of the specials they had. The service and attention we received alone would make me come back. I felt so welcomed here! We decided to go for the classics because it was our first time and I was too excited to try their food. It's a small menu which lets you know the chef is the most likely going to take you on an experience. To start off we had their mushroom croquetas. These were so delicious! If you think you need meat, I promise, you won't miss it! The croqueta is a punch of flavor. It has a rich umami taste and fried to perfection. You have to try it! For entree we went with the dry-aged boneless ribeye. How can we not? I had been drooling looking at pictures online. And it did not disappoint. OMG.... That steak... *Chef's kiss* perfection!!! The sear and crust on the outside was immaculate. And they top it off with a finishing salt. Wow!! The flavor is just so good. The meat is so tender and high-quality. It is a 30 oz steak so it is the perfect size for sharing and comes with a side of potato wedges (which are also amazing). Our waitress also offered ketchup or aioli to go with the fries which was really nice. For dessert of course we had to get the basque cheesecake. Please do not leave without getting this cheesecake!!! Actually, just come here for dessert! Oh my gosh where to begin? Creamy, decadent, rich, indulgent. Every bite is amazing till the very end. This is a great representation of Basque cuisine and we are so lucky to have this gem in North Miami!!! (Major plus: Free parking lot in the back)

We came here last Sunday with friends . The ambience is elegant and welcoming. We had a nice table for four by the windows. We started with the appetizer Scallops carpaccio, Mushrooms crquetas, Angus beef Tenderloin brioche. For our entre our friends had Duck margret & radish, Gambas all Ajillo, my husband had Octopus and I got the Grilled grouper ( is over cook),everything was delicious and fantastic ! And for the dessert Tarta de queso this cheese cake is very light creamy and rich flavor ,the service stood out .This is a great spot that I would gladly recommend for anyone who enjoys authentic food at very fair price .

This is a place you can't tell how good it is from the outside. But it's a whole new world inside. The service is amazing and they are super attentive. The menu is not large but I like that because they make sure everything is great. We had the mushroom croquettes which was different but amazingly good. A must try. It was a date night and my wife was crazy to have a steak so we ordered this huge ribeye which was amazingggg. It was alittle pricey at 90 dollars but after you eat it you'll understand why. They also have a great selection of wine. Best part of the night was dessert. We had the basque cheesecake. Just amazing and has the cream oozing from the side. You won't regret trying it. And better make room for it.

Kaixo! We dined at Edan Bistro in North Miami in October for my sister's birthday. Upon entering, our first impression was that the decor was quite busy, with palm tree wallpaper and abstract paintings, and we had expected a larger space. The atmosphere didn't quite align with the food theme, but we were mainly focused on the food, and I was especially excited to try the Basque cheesecake, so we didn't mind too much. Just making a note, as we anticipated a fancier setting than what it turned out to be. Our server was very kind and made sure the kitchen took our food allergies into account. He recommended pairing the dry-aged ribeye with the pumpkin creamy rice, which turned out to be delicious. The ribeye had more fat than we expected, and as a result, we probably lost about 10 oz of meat. However, it was still more than enough for the three of us to share. The presentation was very poor (see image), as the plate seemed dirty on the edges. I personally would have preferred it cooked a little more, but since it was a shared dish, I didn't mind too much. The highlight of the night was the Basque cheesecake, which was hands down the best I've ever had--and it was gluten free, which was a nice bonus! We hope to visit again! Gero arte!

Great little place, fits the "hidden gem" category. Lots of free parking in the back (already we're off to a better start than Miami Beach or Lynwood). Inside the decor is simple, but the tapas (all fitting neatly on one page of the menu) are the star. Ordered the croquettes ($15 - loved by all); octopus ($28 - it was artfully presented and a little harder to share, but I'd get again); steak tartare (4pc on toast - easy to share, $22); foie gras with toast (sooo good, a little pricey at $27 though); duck margret ($27 - mixed reviews because one end was tender but the other a little tough). Finished with the basque cheesecake - save room for this! Attentive servers, and an all around win for this area.

Edan Bistro is one of my favorite brunch spots. Since it's tough to get a dinner reservation here--the place is so popular--we've been sticking to their brunches. In the morning, the restaurant is quiet and almost empty, which I love. One of the best things is that their brunch options aren't the usual fare; they have unique Spanish dishes, like the potato frittata with pan con tomate and, best of all, the steak sandwich. You just have to try it! The burger is fantastic too (coming from me, a picky burger eater, that says a lot!). I also tried the salmon toast and the salmon scramble, but I honestly prefer the other dishes. Now, the cheesecake! OMG, the cheesecake! I can't imagine a better one than Edan's. The center is so creamy, almost like melted ice cream, with an irresistible vanilla flavor. Somehow, they serve it at the perfect temperature too. I could come here just for the cheesecake. The service is always 10/10. It feels like a family-owned place; the baristas and servers are so friendly and warm, which just gives you one more reason to keep coming back. Honestly, I'm so curious to try their dinner--I feel like it will blow my mind!

Tried Edan for the first time and it was really good. Food was very fresh and tasty. Spanish Tortilla was really good and the steak over bread was very tender. The cheesecake was different than other basque cheesecakes, it was a little runny and soft, not sure which of the ones I had was the real taste. Restaurant was small and in a sketchy area but very clean. The service was very friendly and prompt. I wish they had a better brunch menu, it was just the typical lunch menu.

A simple dinning area, absolutely unpretentious, served by kind people including the chef's Mom. Aitor, the chef from Bilbao and former Leku chef, offers a delicious menu inspired in basque food. Food which is full of flavor and ideal for sharing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but you can't, by no means, leave without having the Basque cheesecake.

We kicked things off with the Cuban sampler, which was the perfect introduction to the menu and got everyone excited for the main event. Every dish that hit the table was a hit: the Red Snapper was incredibly fresh, and the Chicharron de Pollo had that perfect crunch. My wife really enjoyed the Chicken Milanesa, but for me, the Paella was the star of the show--rich, authentic, and packed with flavor. It's safe to say everything was delicious yet again. We've officially added this to our "must-visit" list for every trip to Miami. If you're looking for a meal that feels both high-quality and welcoming, you can't beat this spot. We dined in, and the visit blew away the food from the previous week. I really like Cuban sandwiches, so will be something my brother and I keep seeking out during short visits to Miami. We had a one-day rental car, so found Little Havana Restaurant, coming a bit after peak lunch time. It's on a major street, with surface angled parking in the back. There are a lot of wild birds in the area, with their guano being everywhere outside. It's a big dining area inside, and we were immediately directed to a prime location with views of their small lush adjacent green space, and the birds that live there. Elizabeth was our server, with water and complementary rolls being immediately offered by helpers. She and her team were great throughout, offering suggestions and bringing the food nice and hot. We ordered off the Happy Hour menu (11:30 - 18:00 M-F) and the Lunch Special Menu (11:30 - 16:00). We were greatly satisfied with every dish Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, appetizer size ($14.99) - 5 jumbo tail-on shrimp, sauteed in a scampi type sauce. It's what you expect when you douse good shrimp with a butter garlic sauce. The appetizer does not come with rice/beans, but we had plenty of it from the other dishes...loved spooning the sauce over the rice while eating. Roast Pork Lunch ($12.99) - what a deal. A dish of pulled pork with a big piece of fried pork skin on top...reminded me of the Filipino lechon, or even the Hawaiian kalua pork, with the tenderness of the mean. It came with a big scoop of rice and a bowl of red beans. Lamb Shank ($18.49) - This was recommended by Elizabeth when asked by my brother, what he shouldn't miss. It's a Cuban special, cooked in wine sauce. It was a big piece, still on the bone, coming with a big plate of rice and fried plantains. He enjoyed it, though he was struggling a bit at the end. Cuban Sandwich ($12.49) - A full size Cuban sandwich, cut in half. It had been grilled on a sandwich press with a little oil, resulting in the cuban bread being crispy at the top. It had the right mix of that same delicious pulled pork, along with ham, melted swiss, mustard and pickle slices. It was very good, great value for the price. Paying was done at the top, and we intentionally did not take any leftovers. There is a framed newspaper article from 1991 in the lobby, where you can read more about their origins.

The service is incredible, the chef and other staff were quick and very attentive, making sure each dish is crafted to perfection. It's a very casual spot but the presentation of the food is up to par with some of the Michelin star restaurants you can find in the city. I do want to note that each group is served one at a time. We unfortunately showed up right after a group of 6 with another party of 2 already at the counter. The chef takes the order of the party that comes in first. The group of two ordered almost everything on the menu and the group of six put in multiple things meaning we were not able to put in an order until 6:30. Though this does make sense since there were only 3 people preparing the food, it was unfortunate since we were hungry and waited an hour to put in our first order. That being said, the food was incredible. We got the fish ceviche, spicy. tuna causa, and the cilantro lime rice. If you like spicy, get the ceviche spicy! It was one of the best ceviches I've ever had. The causa was very well balanced and the cilantro rice had a good amount of seafood in it. Everything was so beautifully prepared we almost didn't want to eat it! Overall, the food and service is amazing and I think the food is fairly priced for the amount of time and attention is put into each dish. But do be warned about the waiting time.
