Options include not just beers, but wine and non alcoholic rootbeer and kombuchas on tap. Plus there's an awesome Brazilian coffee shop. They have so many events throughout the month, including Monday line dancing once a month, Tuesday night trivia, Thursday night board games and puzzles and Fri/Sat live music. The downtown station is a go to spot for me, not just for the food options but for the variety of events. They are kid friendly, with their play zone and kid shows on one of the TVs. One of the lady bar tenders is super nice - I love her. Plus they do tap takeovers, goat/llama events - you name it. I love this spot

I really wanted to love this food cart pod, but my experience was a bit mixed…read more I showed up right at 11 AM on a Saturday when things are supposed to open, I was specifically craving barbecue. Unfortunately, Chin's BBQ--still listed online as being here--has actually moved, which was a big disappointment and made the trip feel a bit wasted from the start. I ended up going to Ali's Nashville Hot Chicken instead. Even though they were supposed to open at 11, they didn't start taking orders until around 11:30. After ordering, I waited another 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich. On top of that, even by 11:45, several other food carts were still closed. This made the whole place feel a bit unpredictable and disorganized. That said, there are definitely positives. The indoor seating area is very clean, the bathrooms are well-maintained, and the staff across the pod were all polite. The food itself was also tasty once I finally got it. Overall, the biggest issue is consistency--it's hard to know which carts will actually be open and when. If you're flexible and not set on a specific spot, it might be a good experience. But if you're going for something specific, you might want to double-check or be prepared for a backup plan.

Cedar Hills Crossing - 9/11/2024 - At least it was nice out though I wasting a ridiculous amount of time in this empty building for nothing.

A friend and I wanted some fro yo and realized that this had the one and only fro yo spot unless we wanted to head 15+ minutes in any other direction since there is the Salt and Straw and Moberi but not actual fro yo. So, we braved the parking situation - again, read the reviews which almost all mention how bad it really is. People are truly awful and trying to pull in or out of spaces is a nightmare. I am ADA and I genuinely do not feel safe if I get stuck parking here. The parking lot was arranged horribly and it is carved weirdly creating a lot of blind spots. So we walk into the center and realize that all the stores are different, again... every time I try to visit a store here it is gone - they seem to last a few months but the fro yo spot was there for years and suddenly is gone and there is a ceramics class place. I would love to know where people plan to park for that since the lot already is full without 20 people trying to take a ceramics class. So we walk up to their 'map' to see surely there is ice cream or something IN here. We then after a whole lot of confusion since there is this insanely long list of businesses. We then realize that the list which is all over the place and the map is for the entire Cedar Hills Crossing which they include ALL of - stuff across the street and up the street and covering an insane area that we would not be walking to. Maybe you can just do a map of the building we are in which used to be called the Beaverton Mall.... I genuinely was so unnecessarily overwhelmed with all this garbage that I still don't know or care what the hell is in there. The other buildings are open strip malls you can drive and see the name of each business and you would be going there directly. So, I go back to not bothering to go here and the people who seem to know nothing about marketing continue to have no customers and wonder why. Just trying to get in and out of the parking lot was an insane time waste.

I was surprised how big their menu is, and that it spans from Cantonese dim sum to Sichuan spicy dishes. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. The dim sum is your typical standard fare. They make a good pan fried noodle dish and congee. Of the dim sum items, I think I liked the har gow the best. The rest of the items I think they could use some better seasoning. Service wise they do need a few more carts going when it gets busy. The last time we went, my mom just up and walked over to the cart that was on the other side of the room to get some items. Or just switch to the "pencil and order on demand" method. Saves some of the service hassle. There are some nice banquet sized tables towards the back of the dining room, with lazy susans and such. If you're not looking to go east side for dim sum, this is a suitable place.

It felt very traditional, especially with the lazy Susan's and being able to eat family style Chinese dinner. Every dish we ordered was large and perfect for a large family. Very flavourful, too! This Saturday morning, we went for dim sum with a few friends. I loved that they had carts going around. We arrived right at opening with many other guests, but were promptly serviced. We're all from more Asian areas so it's so nostalgic to sit and speak Cantonese. I was impressed with all of the food. They don't have as many options as other restaurants, but they do have all the basics (har gow, siu mai, cheung fun) that you need. And they were incredibly tasty!! The egg tarts especially were so perfect and flaky. I'm excited for them to become more popular.
