Los Dos Amigos Taco Supreme with vegan Al Pastor.
    Wendy L.

Hubs and I were part of a large group tonight, visiting for the first time. Let me tell you that the Los Dos Amigos Tacos Supreme and Quessabirria were spectacular, amongst tasty offerings. We ordered five dishes to share (see pictures), plus two alcoholic drinks, all in for a good price with leftovers for tomorrow. The folks we interacted with were great, the place was spotless, and parking easy. We ordered exclusively from the extensive dedicated vegan menu this time, and would like to come back to try the other vegan dishes out and check out the regular menu. Why not a 5-star review? The flutas were a bit overdone, several orders took awhile to appear, and we were surprised to see a tip and service charge added before another tip line with 18%+ suggested. May just be that we don't get out much, but we had planned ahead for separate checks for our group.

We decided to try this place because it replaced another place that was in this location. We are always looking for a new Mexican places to go to. This place did not disappoint. The inside is very nice. The service was wonderful it did take a little while for us to get our drinks but it was just because there was only one person serving at the time so we were patient. The queso fundido was one of the best I've had in a while! Shrimp taco is amazing. I also tried my husband's tacos which were also good. We will for sure be coming back !

Great Mexican food, this place is spacious and can take up a lot of customers, high ceilings, booth and table seating. They ave a wide selection of food for both the meat lovers and vegetarians or vegans. Not sure about gluten free options, I didn't really look closely but it's always a nice to have on menus. Service was great! Fast! One thing I didn't see on the menu is the horchata, but on the check it was marked as aguas frescas, so I learned something new. BEST horchata I've had! And omg their home made chips are so good, can't beat homemade! The salsa was good too a little spicy . I like it more tomatoey with some chunks of onion but it was really good! I had a slow cooked pork plate, highly recommend, the portions were so big o couldn't finish it so I had my friends help me out lol. I'll definitely come back for more!

Slow service...had to get our food to go. Served burnt tacos! Don't think I'll go back.

Wanted to try a New Mexican restaurant and the one we were originally going to try was too packed so we decided to check this place out and I'm glad we did! We loved the variety of food options, including vegan options! The food was homemade and made to order, even the chips! This place is also great for larger parties as there was a few when we walked in. I will say only thing we didn't like was, we said no chicken for the enchiladas but they made it seem like it came with chicken so we said chicken on the side and then got charged for adding chicken other than that we're glad to say we found a New Mexican restaurant when on this side of town.

Go ahead and just come to this restaurant! The chef and service will not disappoint! The food is soo fresh and authentic! Full of flavor and the portions are large and filling. I had to force myself to stop eating because I kept eating even after I was full lol! The restaurant is family owned and they put their heart and intention into their food and service. Very polite and amazing people! We will definitely return to this restaurant every year when we come to Vegas. P.S. the meat is DELICIOUS!

The customer service was amazing! I got queso birria with beans and rice---Oh my goodness delicious! I also got queso fundido and with the corn tortillas, this is a delicious appetizer and the corn tortillas are made fresh everyday. The other person in my party got a Birria chimichanga wet with green sauce....10/10! Please try this place, it's in a not so great area but it worth the trip.

Our new favorite place! Delicious food, affordable prices, wonderful service, & comfy vibes! The partner started with the shrimp michelada and it was a hit. They have mock meats from Pancho's Vegan Tacos! The vegan birria tacos are a favorite! The hot sauces/salsas alone are worth the visit.

No lie, this specific location is probably the biggest cash cow on the strip racking in millions of dollars. I love their highly popular Al pastor meat; its crisp edges and tender texture makes it the best. It has just enough sweetness from the pineapple but not too sweet. The creamy green/white sauce poured on top is EVERYTHING! It tastes perfect. I have to have 6 tacos ($4) each every time. Pair these tacos with a plate of grilled onions and jalapeños too! The business comes in waves but notice the early afternoons are the lightest with a quick wait time. If you come at night/late night, the wait time standing can be about 25 mins even. Tacos El Gordo is THE ONE!!

There is a small free parking lot which is convenient given its proximity to the Strip. There are lines for each meat that you want. Just a tip that there are two adobada lines which are usually the longest. Go to the one that's shorter for a shorter wait. We ordered the adobada ($4.12) and asada ($4.12) tacos. The adobada meat was okay and didn't have as much flavor as other locations I've had. I liked the meat of the asada and could taste and smell the char. It was more tender and the taco was slightly bigger. Adobada is usually my favorite overall taco but this time I preferred the asada more. There are lots of tables and is a bigger space than other locations. It's a good taco spot but they also sell fries and other Mexican fare.

I tried the lime margarita, also excellent, and we couldn't leave without trying the churros for dessert. The ambience is lovely, with gorgeous decor, comfortable booths, and an excellent Hispanic music playlist. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Big shoutout to our server, Brandy, who knew just when to replace the lemonade, and suggested the excellent street corn. We will be back very soon!

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

Sadly, the nostalgia wasn't enough to make up for the food, and I don't see myself coming back.

We started with the chips and salsa, guacamole, calamari, hamachi, and caesar salad. All were incredible. Their salsa is more thick and creamy and not too spicy! Guacamole was delicious and flavorful. It came with plantain chips, but we preferred the normal chips. Calamari was perfectly cooked, not chewy, and came with a green salsa sauce. The sauce didn't have much flavor. This dish could be elevated by adding a spicy pepper or spicy aioli as the sauce! Caesar salad portion was huge! Perfectly coated sauce, a little kick, and so delicious! For drinks, I tried their new wellness mocktail, the Alchemist. Though it was tasty, it was a very small glass, which I didn't feel was worth $16. For entrees, we had the ribeye and New York strip. We had the side of whipped potatoes, corn, and truffle fries. Both steaks were delicious, but a little under cooked for both of them. Whipped potatoes were smooth and fabulous. Corn was better than I expected! Like elote style but it's not on the cob. Truffle fries were very tasty, but just like any average curly fry. For dessert, we had the platter with a variety of 3 desserts. All of them were AMAZING! The warm cake was like a butter cake with ice cream, the strawberry tres leches was light and sweet, and the brownie was rich! All of the desserts had fresh berries. We paired our desserts with an americano. We left so full and happy. What an amazing restaurant. I can't wait to come back.
