My mom and I went here for the first time for lunch. We ordered 1 plate to share. We ordered the Chicken plate with chicken instead of lamb. Which comes with rice and a salad, we really enjoyed it. The pieces of chicken breast were very big, juicy and tender. Plenty of chicken for the 2 of us, including the amount of basmati rice and the salad, plus 2 pieces of pita bread. The rice and salad were very good, pita bread was warm, soft and very good. The dressing for the salad was really good, and whatever the green dipping sauce was, it was very delicious. When you walk in, the color of the decor is bright and cheery, very vibrant. Very clean inside. Prices are very reasonable. You order at the counter and then it is brought to you by very friendly and kind staff. The 2 gentlemen working the counter the day we were there are really nice and friendly people. Very helpful with the menu or questions you may have. It's very quiet inside, and smells delicious as soon as you open the door. Bathrooms are very clean. They also have Baklava on the menu. This Greens and Grill is located on Rancho, in the Smith's grocery parking lot. Stop in for lunch at the Greens and Grill before your shopping trip. Was returning a package nearby when I caught the most delicious smell and decided to check it out. Turns out it was a Mediterranean spot! I was eyeing the burgers at first, but after seeing reviews about their beef, I decided to give that a try. I wish there was more beef served per plate because that was honestly the most delicious, steak-like beef kabob I've had in a long time! The steak fries were great with the ranch, and the roasted tomato was packed with flavor. I don't even like tomatoes, but I still had a few bites out of that! This place looked like a cute little spot to dine in, but I took my food home. Even after a 20-minute drive, it still tasted amazing. Stopped by last Saturday while in the shopping plaza. My husband and I ordered the gyro plate with French fries and a side teriyaki chicken kabob and baklava. The food is cooked to order so it was very fresh, all of the ingredients were. The food was good. There were three other patrons dining during our time there. I have really joyed the food from here in the past, but tonight will be my last time eating here. The guy who helped me tonight was not inviting to say the least. No smile just straight faced. I gave him my order and I paid with a card. Instead of handing my card back to me, he swiped it, set it on the counter, and walked away. My payment did not go through initially so I called him over and he swiped again but this time my total was different. A tip had been added. When I mention this to him he says, "ok you don't want to leave a tip?" Wtf? He then corrects the total on the screen but who adds a tip for the guest?? That's my job! Make sure you're getting a paper receipt after you pay. The food was cool but the service was trash. The price point is already high here so if you are not engaging your customers and doing the little things like smiling then it doesn't really make people feel like their money was well spent. A platter of rice with two kabobs, half a pita bread, and a side salad was a whopping $24.92. There are better and friendlier places to spend $25. read more
