We had our move scheduled for last weekend. I had read all their reviews here on Yelp so I felt confident we were moving forward with a good company. When they didn't show up on time as requested, all I could think was how this would affect their review from me. I was irritated, frustrated, and mad since it was about to rain and we were hoping to get as much of the truck loaded before it started. They were an hour late but didn't call to say anything until they were almost a half hour late. The office must've been closed because I couldn't get an answer from a call in there. When they showed up, they certainly redeemed themselves by how fast they moved. They had almost the entire house cleared out within a few hours. If they'd had the option of an 18-wheeler, I have no doubt they could have packed our whole house in the one truck and made it even quicker, but I was certainly impressed with the speed they moved at, their friendly attitudes, and the fact that they didn't slow down. It is back-breaking work and we were certainly VERY grateful for how awesome they did. We haven't finished unpacking but so far, we've not found a single broken item and they treated everything extremely carefully. They also cleaned up their mess afterwards and didn't leave anything behind. I was paranoid having wood floors in both houses that something would get scratched but honestly, you'd never know there was a move as there were no scratches on either floors. I called about 10 different companies before deciding on one and Los Flores had some of the best pricing INCLUDING adding a 4th mover to help expedite the process. Great team, was extremely happy with them, and would highly recommend them. The four gentlemen we used were absolutely awesome. I used them to move at the end of June in 100 degree heat. They were excellent!! I booked my appointment 3 weeks before, and was given a confirmation call a day before my move. They give you a 5-hour window in the afternoon of when they will come (based on their morning job ending). They called me 30 minutes beforehand to tell me they were on the way. The head guy on the team told me once they arrived that my original crew wouldn't have made it there till the end of the 5 hour window, so his crew came so they could get me moved sooner. They packed up a 1 bedroom apartment in just under an hour. They saran wrapped all my furniture, furniture pads, tvs (with padding inside). They check tvs first to be sure they work properly. They maneuvered through Houston traffic at 5 o clock very quickly and efficiently. Then they moved me up 2 flights of stairs into my new place. These guys were RUNNING while it was 100+ outside and this was their 3rd job of the day! Towards the end, a 4th guy showed up to help them finish faster (didn't change the price at all). The head man told me all the crews for the company work together, and help each other out if they finish one job early. They take good care of each other and try to help the customer in any way possible! They finished an hour less than I was planning for. Once I was moved in, they took all the saran wrap off, and set up all my large furniture. They even mentioned one item they thought they had damaged (a small part on a chair that was EASILY fixed with super glue and not a problem at all!!). They were friendly, courteous, efficient, experts at their work. I was super impressed with them, and would tell all my friends, and hire them again in a heartbeat! HIRE THESE GUYS!!! The 3 guys were nice, but when I got to my destination and unpacked most of my kitchen stuff was missing, and other personal items as well. There were a few boxes in the back of the truck that had a blanket put over it. I realized later that those were MY boxes! I later figured out that Those guys most likely knew that those boxes belonged to me and was hiding them from sight to basically steal my kitchen utensils. I didn't have any bowls, pyrex dishes, cooking utensils, coffee mugs, bowls, cutting boards, knives, and was even missing a large box of ammunition that I had for my 9mm (which I did not let the movers move thankfully) and even a big comb from my makeup bag, etc....Of course they denied it. I called Los Flores movers as soon as I noticed my things were missing. The owner called back and was very apologetic. He said that he believed me and was very upset with the company that he had subcontracted. He subsequently fired the 3 movers and came over to my new place to personally apologize and he wrote me a check to compensate me for my losses. At first, I was very upset, but Gilbert really stepped up to the plate when he did this as I know that he could have just let it slide and ignore me, and most likely I would just be out of pocket for my missing items. Lesson learned for me is no matter who is the moving company, I will need to secure my bins securely so that they are tamper resistant and count and label each container before the movers arrive, and re-count before they leave. This incident could happen with any moving company. Luckily, Los Flores movers handled it well! Thanks again Gilbert! I have had some awful moving experiences in the past so I didn't have high expectations for my move across town. Plus, it was pouring down rain on my moving day so I was preparing myself for an awful day. The movers showed up at the very beginning of their time window. They were younger but dressed in their uniform shirt and behaved in an incredibly professional manner. They did not waste a second getting started; two of the men were already moving boxes and making a plan even while I signed the paper work and discussed with the team leader. They wrapped up all my furniture thoroughly, pointed out any imperfections that were already present before moving so that we could be clear on any damage that was their fault and moved everything out of my apartment in no time. It was actually, incredibly impressive. When we got to my new house, they unloaded just as efficiently, didn't make one mark on my freshly painted walls - despite some very narrow turns and low ceilings on the stairs - and were even happy to help me move stuff around to get it situated like I wanted. (They offered to help me rearrange things that they didn't even move into the house!) They were also very careful about not bringing mud into my house and were overall, just incredibly friendly, helpful, considerate, professional and respectful. They made my moving day easy and dare I say, almost relaxing. I will use them for any moves in the future. Thank y'all! read more

I can't express enough what a great job our movers, Ricardo, Morales & Marco did in moving us from our 2 bedroom apartment to our 4 bedroom townhome. Los Flores came recommended from our Realtor and we were not disappointed. In a little over 5hrs they packaged up 2 bedrooms, the living room, boxed up our kitchen and moved numerous boxes already packaged up by ourselves. They dismantled 2 beds, carried whole chest of drawers from the bedroom, they carefully and delicately packaged up our sectional sofa, making sure to wrap each section in a protective cover and they diligently packaged up our whole kitchen, with not one item broken on the other end. They drove from the Energy Corridor to Cottage Grove then proceeded to load all our items into the various levels of the house - taking care of larger items when navigating the many stairs. They reassembled the 2 beds and the sofa - all this in a little over 5hrs. Did I mention the breaks they took? no that's because they didn't take any, from the moment they arrived at the apartment they did not stop until they were finished in the house. We will not hesitate in using this company again. read more

We had a 2-bedroom move from bottom floor to 3rd floor of the same apartment complex. We received a confirmation call the day before and another call when they were on their way. 4 guys showed up. I was nervous at first as they were not the biggest guys I've ever seen, but they were full of energy and quickly proved that they had the strength to get the job done. I had no idea how they would wrangle our over-sized sofa, love-seat, bookshelves, 55" LCD TV and console, etc up 2 flights of stairs and around a tight corner, but they did it. All 4 worked really hard and were very appreciative when we offered several bottles of water and gatorade. We had some really heavy items, tons of small items, and lots of fragile nick-nacks, but they kept plugging away and eventually got it all moved in with zero damage. All in all, these guys were a delight to work with, easy to communicate with, and efficient. We were very impressed with them and will definitely use them again. PS. These guys were really good. We asked them to unloaded our storage unit into a moving truck. Scheduling was easy over the phone, and when we received our confirmation call as promised I even asked to change our start time for the move at the last minute and they said no problem. Our movers were Melvin, Mike and Antonius. They showed up 10 minutes early and got right down to business. They were pleasant, respectful, professional and efficient. They were very careful with our stuff wrapping all the furniture with care. They loaded the truck like professional movers (unlike others we have used who seemed to just throw stuff into the truck). Melvin was really good making sure the boxes and furniture were secured. When he realized that we didn't have any straps to tie things down, Melvin made his own out the the plastic wrap and it worked really well. They finished the job in 2 hours - didn't drag their feet to go over the minimum time and charge us extra. I really wish we had used Los Flores when we moved into the storage unit - our stuff would have been much better off! read more

I chose Los Flores for my move because Someone in my neighborhood was moving (I didn't know them personally), and I saw how the workers were handling their household items with such care. I decided to give them a call as I was moving the next month. The person on the phone was very polite and professional. The movers showed up and completed the move but I was disappointed with them and they took so long. Several of my things were damaged and to say the least I wasn't happy. I called the company and the OWNER came to my house and checked out the damage! He told me those particular movers were new and it was one's first day on the job. He let those people go the next day because he said his reputation was on the line! To make a long story short, I can't say enough good things about Mr Flores, because he took care of the problems right then and there. This experience has changed how we percieve moving companies. I doubted i'd get a good service because of previous experiences. Los FLores movers was not just satisfactory they exceeded my expectations 100%. The rep that answers the company number explained exactly what pricing incoudes, detailed any fees that could apply if needed, communicated the updated ETA and moved people around to meet my deadline. The price was exaclty what i was quoted, which was not much. The movers were careful, not too chatty, professional, hard and quick workers, asked me about my preferences and any specifics they had doubts on, making the move run so smooth. These guys are awesome. I moved on September 12 from a duplex with 5 steps to the front door to another duplex that was on the second floor. I have a lot of furniture and stuff and these guys packed the huge truck in 2.5 hours. They were quick, but very careful with everything. Even huge furniture pieces went through the doors without a ding. When my refrigerator wouldn't fit through the kitchen door of my new place, they took the door off the hinges to make it fit, the put the door back up. They were courteous about asking which room boxes went into instead of just setting them down anywhere. And to top things off, they made a stop on the way to drop off an armoire at a friend's house with no complaints or extra charge. I was so happy with their services I bought them an awesome pizza lunch and tipped them very well. I would recommend these guys to anyone. read more

I booked my appointment with them maybe 3 weeks before my move (friendly staff), they called and confirmed my move the day before and arrived on time (8 AM.) the day of the move. In mid-July, I leased a new apartment in Houston. I hadn't moved in a number of years and so was a bit apprehensive about selecting a moving company. A friend recommended Los Flores Movers. I reached out, and we quickly finalized a date. Los Flores was very responsive. On the day-of, their team and truck were right on time. Part of my belongings went first to a storage unit, and then the remaining part went to the new apartment. Everything was handled carefully, with no damage to the furniture or the walls, and everything ended up in the correct place. We got so lucky in choosing Los Flores Movers and also so lucky they had availability when we called since we didn't give much notice. They did an excellent job and we got three guys to move us from one large house to another. It went very smooth, they were careful moving everything. The new house was a two-story and they did great getting everything upstairs as well. They even stopped and picked up stuff from a storage unit. We were glad they had a large 24 ft truck, we needed it :). The guys were all very nice and worked very hard non-stop. We recently moved from a house in Sugar Land into an apartment in Houston and used Los Flores at the recommendation of our realtor. We were not disappointed! They showed up right on time and worked quickly to wrap and move our things into the truck. They were polite and courteous and extremely efficient (not to mention strong!). Once we got to the apartment, they realized that our room was located as far away from the freight elevator as could possibly be however, they moved quickly and got us all moved in just under 4 hours which we thought was great. Los Flores has completed several moves for our offices over the last several years, including moving one from Dallas to Houston. They have also completed residential moves for some of our team members and I always hear positive feedback. So far, no job has been too big or too small for them. The price is always great. This was the best moving experience. From start to finish everything went very smoothly. The three young men arrived right on time. They were polite and responsive to every question and request that I made. They did not waste any time at all. They worked together and efficiently. It took them two hours to do it all. A life saver. I was in the middle of move out of state and realized I had bitten off more than I could chew. I needed heavy furniture placed in a local storage unit. On the recommendation of a friend I called Los Flores. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. While they showed up a few hours late, it was worth the wait. The receptionist called me to tell me they were held up a job lasting longer than they thought. When they did show up they take care of business. They move fast but take good care of furniture. Los Flores moved all of the contents of our office to our new building and suite. They were on time, estimated the amount of time it would take accurately, brought carts to move our files and computer equipment, removed artwork for transport and were very professional. They secured all belongings and were very careful with the lobby floors and elevators.
