The deal breaker for me was when the bartender was rude to a few members of our party, one being my husband. When asked to make a Rusty Nail, the bartender told my husband that a Rusty Nail is a glorified Old Fashioned, which is not true, and he should be a man and just order a scotch. When mixing another drink, the bartender started making fun of members of our party. He also used his bare hands to place the ice cubes in the highball glasses, which is completely unsanitary. And when I got my extra dirty vodka martini, it had a long hair in it! When it was returned to be remade, it was basically vodka and olives. I asked to have more olive brine added, and it wasn't much better. The bar has a neat atmosphere but the staff make it unpleasant. Our local family members who recommended the place were completely embarrassed and I felt bad for them. It's not their fault that the staff do not know how to treat people. Hopefully management will make it right.

Middle of the afternoon, only one table occupied, we had just walked through a rainstorm and were dripping wet. The kind waitress at the end of the bar asked if we'd like a towel. Then she looked at the bartender (marine vet), who shook his head no. She looked at us apologetically and shrugged. Simple, common courtesy and good manners matter more than anything else. Bad move, bartender.
