My husband and I always love to share an order of fajitas when we get Mexican. We have been to several local restaurants and our experience here was HORRIBLE. Our fajitas arrived (half order) and there was about 1/4 cup of carne asada on the platter. We voiced our concerns to the waiter and he told us that the servings are "pre-measured out" so there was no possible way that they made a mistake. Then the manager came and tried to convince us that we received the normal portion (it was enough meat for 1 taco) and that if we wanted more meat, we could buy more. They were not interested in our problem and only wanted to say "sorry" and walk away. We were so disappointed and felt incredibly disrespected that we didn't touch the food and asked for the check. Los Hermanos is local restaurant here in provo Utah. The do have another located in London but it doesn't have the chain restaurant feel. One of my favorite things is their salsa. It is delicious! Try the chimichanga, smothered burrito, or combos. You won't go wrong! read more

Not sure why this place was busy when we arrived or why others have posted positive comments. You must not have eaten at any other Mexican Restaurant in the area to compare. Our experience was not good at all. I let our server know that my Smothered Burrito was not good, and his comment to me was, "oh well, next time order the Chimichanga." My smothered burrito was supposed to be covered with Chili Verde sauce, the little sauce they put on it was dry before it arrived. It had shredded beef that was dry with little flavor. It was more like day old shredded pot roast wrapped in a tortilla. We ordered queso dip that tasted like it was made from powdered cheese. My wife ordered fish tacos that the Menu stated were served with corn tortillas, yet they were served with flour, when she questioned this, the server said that she should have requested corn, yet he made no offer to correct. We found this restaurant very nice. We had a private room for our party that was perfect for conversation. Not a loud restaurant at all. The food was out fast and was wonderful. The waitress knew her stuff. She was right on the drink refills, she didn't even have to ask "okay, now who had the enchiladas"? She was right on it. (16 in our party) the food was fresh, and tasty. I am a huge fan of Mexican food and I can tell you this is not Mexican food. This is very Americanized American Mexican food. The guacamole is disgusting don't get it. Also the service is mediocre at best and that's because it's a bunch of college students that don't give a shit. The chips and salsa are wonderful if you can get a refill on the salsa. I have eaten many times at Los Hermanos for many years starting back when it was on the corner of Center and University Avenue. I love their salsa and Chips, their Brisa drink and Beef taquitos. Today, my family of 9 people ate there for my granddaughter Ashton's birthday. I had talked to Cassidy (manager) and asked for a room where we could sit that would be not close to others. She reserved the Old West room for us and they followed through with everything she had said to me. We mostly had the room to ourselves. I am at high risk if I got covid so was worried about eating out. Cassidy was most accommodating to us. I don't remember the waitress' name but she was excellent. The food was good as usual. My only negative comment was the two full orders of chicken fajitas didn't really have much chicken in it. The pieces looked like they were diced and there wasn't much there. But the taste is good. On person had fish tacos and liked them. I am very thankful that they made this special day for us so nice and worry free. read more

I always eat the salsa and chips and a Taco Loco and enjoy them. However, for me if the place isn't clean and in good repair it not only ruins the abience, appeal and presentation of the food but, it also concerns me how cleanly the kitchen is and the food safety practices that are being adhered to. The tables look and feel dirty and do not appear to be properly cleaned between patrons let alone deeper cleaning at the end of each night. My arms we're sticking to the grimy table tops. The chairs are rickety, unstable, ripped, worn cushioning and have old food and drink stains on the backs, not to mention they also feel sticky. Just looking around you observe filthy baseboards and a generally uncleaned restaurant. We quit going to the Lindon location for this very same reason and now it looks like this location is on the chopping block. It's a shame because getting the food and service right is usually the bigger challenge for any restaurant but, anyone that cares should be able to enact procedures to maintain a clean and healthy building. When I see a dining room like this, I know the kitchen is at least as dirty or worse. Management should create and strictly follow a procedure manual that informs workers which cleaning items should be performed daily as well as each particular night of the week and throughtout each month and year. For example each night deep clean legs and tops of each table and chair; monthly clean HVAC register vents, etc. Each day employees go to the book and carry out each listed task, sign their name and have management sign off on it. We just moved to this state and Los Hermanos was the first restaurant we ventured out to. The food was terrible! Not just lousy 'pretending to be Mexican food' but awful food period! My chicken burrito contained boiled chicken wrapped in a soggy tortilla served next to crunchy rice. We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night expecting a wait...was seated an acceptable 25 minutes later. However, our party of five was taken to a booth meant for four and it was explained to us how we should sit as to best fit all of us. A quick remedy was proposed and an extra chair was brought around. After about 15 minutes our waiter came by and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered our drinks which were promptly brought but spilled on my husbands lap. The waiter said "oops, a little spillage there" and walked away. 15 more minutes went by and a young gal came by apologizing for our waiter saying that he had a big party to attend to. Another ten minutes with no sign of our waiter and we called attention to his deficiencies and asked for a new waiter. New waitress arrives and states "I guess I'll be serving you now." We order our food and are hoping to regain the rest of a decent night out. No such luck...15 minutes later our waitress comes by to let us know that they've run out of beans, "is this ok?" she asks. We state that it's not, as all of our meals revolves around beans. Without any apology she walks away...and with our growling stomachs, so do we. As we're exiting the restaurant I request to meet with the manager who apologizes profusely for our experience and insists that I wait for our bean-less meals to be packed up to take home. I concede, as this woman is very sincere and I feel bad for her. We arrive home and dig into our boiled chicken burritos inside of soggy tortillas next to crunchy rice. I'm sorry to all of you who think that this is acceptably edible food. Unfortunately you have not had the opportunity to taste good food, let alone good Mexican food. I'm also sorry to all of you who order the "mixed drinks" because this restaurant has suckered all of you into paying full price for a "virgin" drink. Alcohol is a very large expense for many restaurants, and for Los Hermanos to omit this ingredient and charge you $5 for crushed ice and flavorings is highway robbery! Please do yourselves a favor and never eat at this establishment! I'm only hoping this is not representative of Utah restaurant food! read more
