All that is grease the meat taste terrible

This place used to be really good, I just went today the meat was not seasoned at all it's like they put straight ground beef on these nachos no flavor!

Easy place to grab a quick bite or takeout. They have chips and a salsa bar when you dine in. Everything was made fairly quick after we ordered. The workers are nice and there's indoor and outdoor seating. There's free street parking. ig: @cravingswithcat

Los Jarritos is our go to on DoorDash for Mexican food. They always have daily deals and the food is seriously authentic and delicious! They order a variety of items from here; we usually get their tacos, chile rellenos, chimichangas, enchiladas, tamales and burritos. Their enchilada sauce has the best flavor and they also put it on their tamales. Their rice and beans are sooo good too!!

Service is always awesome; I appreciate when management walks around and asks how everything is - that alone is worth bonus points! I have too many favorite food items to pick just one. On our last visit I had a small side of carne asada which I mixed into my plate of nopales and black beans; add a bit of any of their tasty salsas, and bam, this became sinfully tasty to me. The husband had a grilled chicken tostada salad on this visit - one of us needs to eat healthy. ;-). He said it was tastier than he expected when it was brought to the table. The veg was overflowing, and VERY fresh. You also have to appreciate free chips and a house made salsa bar. They offer delicious posole, menudo, and also camarones! They sell pan dulces, Mexican cafe, and even fruit icecream bars. Also appreciate how customers can reasonably customize their burritos if so inclined (at least I was able to on a prior visit). They offer indoor and outdoor seating w/TVs playing sports. The space is neat and tidy - another bonus. So next time you're craving south of the border food, drop by Los Jarritos on Broadway...that's what we do!

A medium sized burrito, good for the price. The tacos here are popular but I wanted breakfast. The reason why I am giving it four stars instead of five is because although there is a salsa bar to snack on chips and salsa, the food takes a longer time to receive.

    Cheese Enchilada, beef taco

The cheese enchilada was REALLY good! Beef taco was meh. Service was also meh. Not sure why there needs to be so many words in my review. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Great place, the carne Asada is very flavorful, it has a crunch and moist. Service is great, food is served to the table. I don't mind coming back. The price for the meal is affordable unlike other restaurant out there 20 dollars per meal. Here 9-15 dollars can get you belly full.

Great AC, amazing salsa bar, fun music, friendly service and delicious food! $1 paletas (popsicles) made in-house! Super tasty Happy Hour menu available as well.

Been coming here for decades.... First off, my visit started with bad customer service. Very ignorant staff, with no manners or respect to customers. I have always noticed they have a big turnover with staff workers. Hmmm? Dining floor a mess, with tossed napkins, foil from a burrito, food particles. Never seen the place like this. So, I order my favorite chicken enchilada dinner. Two hours later, my stomach began to hurt real bad, got so sick throwing up for several hours, coming out both ends. What concerns me the most, the throwing up experience has happened to me, several months ago. But I always say, "okay, one bad experience, give it another chance". Well, getting sick twice within a year, means "Hasta la vista" obviously, something is gone bad in the kitchen

The restaurant had great energy and a fun, buzzy atmosphere. The crowd was a lively mix of people from the Capitol, couples enjoying date night and moviegoers grabbing dinner before or after a show. We ordered the carnitas and carne asada. Both plates were generous and full of flavor. The carnitas were tender and practically fell apart with a fork, and the carne asada was cooked perfectly. Add friendly service and a colorful setting, and you have a great downtown Sacramento dining spot!

Unfortunately, the service was lacking during our visit. One of our meals was forgotten and we had to flag down the server to let him know. Our server also wasn't around very often, so it was difficult to get refills or ask for anything we needed. When we requested a specific number of to-go boxes, we weren't given enough and had to get up and ask for additional boxes ourselves. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but I took away 1 star for the lack of service. The service could definitely use some improvement, especially since it wasn't busy when we went. With more attentive service, this could have been a much better dining experience.

They didn't just walk by like frazzled, hurried workers like most restaurants pushing through the crowds. They actually gave me a nice smile and said welcome, and then walked by. And then I got to the reception area found that there was already a pretty big crowd at around the 5:30 PM or so I guess a lot of early birds come to eat there on Sunday. The receptionist asked for how many and said you'd be like a 20 minute wait and there was chairs where people were waiting but it was only like a 15 minute wait. The server was fast with the chips and salsa and ice water and then soon the waiter came and took my order. He was really quick and witty, fun to talk to. What I really enjoyed was as the noise of the table Near quieted down and they left. I saw a young man cleaning up the table and getting it ready for the next group of people. He was dressed really nice and had a tie on. Having been in restaurants most of my life I said to myself, I bet you he works with the owners or something. And I said to him, are your related to people that own the place ? he said my parents own this place. He was very friendly and polite. He told me a tiny bit about the restaurant and how everything had been since 1970, much older than he was, he was only a sophomore in high school I think. I never really got his name, but I was kind of proud of him because he was working hard at his family's restaurant. I ordered probably something bigger than I could eat because I had to take leftovers home, but it was really a tasty meal, and they're coming out with more chips and salsa without being asked, probably didn't help as well as a second lemonade. It's really impressive when you have a well oiled machine and it appeared to me that the people that worked there seem to be happy so that's always a good sign of good management. Several years back, I worked in the restaurant industry doing maintenance and repairs so I went to a lot of different restaurants and saw a lot of things so I know what to look for. I'm definitely gonna come back when my brother and his wife come up from the Bay Area my friend Ivan he'll wanna go there for lunch or dinner I know. He's kind of a picky eater and was born in Mexico, but I think he'll be impressed with this place.

I got the 2 item plate and chose verde enchilada and the verde chimichanga. It came with rice and beans but I asked for no beans. My friend ordered the steak ranchero dish and did not like it very much. It looked more like a stew. The ranchero sauce looked to be very watery.
