I don't know if this restaurant is just opening or what but I felt like I was in the middle of a restoration and the sign was a jenky banner. The food was pretty plain and didn't have much flavor. There are a ton of Mexican restaurants in Williamsburg for some reason (???) and there are others that are better than this one read more

We decided to give this place a try - we enjoyed ourselves. However, the food was average. We ordered Agua y Tierra and Choripollo. There wasn't much chorizo with the chicken and the beans & rice flavor wasn't too great. The environment was still under construction - they have a bar that had a drill sitting out like it was still being built. Positives about this place - no wait, staff was very friendly, it's kid friendly (they have high chairs and had Finding Nemo on TV), and the food came out fast. read more

Nice and warm, but not homemade We ordered the stuffed jalapeños and they were piping hot with cheese oozing out. Cleaned that plate! Wow, what a great food. It's an easy place to pass up as you travel down the highway, but it is worth a stop. I had great Acapulco tacos. My husband had something we can't pronounce, but it was one of the specials. It had shrimp, flank, steak, and chicken, and was delicious. The servers were great. Only had breakfast, and those were selections with Latin influences (not pancakes or waffles). Our dishes were surprisingly good. We expected less based on appearance of low foot traffic whenever we passed by. Having had similar offerings in TX, NM and Mexico, I can recommend this restaurant based on quality we had today. Look forward to coming back for lunch or dinner. They do serve some alcohol but do not have full bar yet so do keep that in mind. read more

The food here wasn't good enough for the area. Took a chance and ordered fajitas and was very disappointed. The portions were very small and the food tasted old and tough. The beans were a black puree and the rice was not at all good and tasted like uncle bens Spanish rice . Funny thing was the restaurant was empty and not at all busy. The service was ok, but overall I wouldn't come here again. Much better restaurants for the price just down the road. I have been to this restaurant many times and never once have I ever received mediocre food, the food is always good and the hand made tortillas are the best I have ever had. The staff is always friendly and hospitable and you receive your food in the order it was taken. Just because you arrive first but waisted time ordering, does not mean your order will have priority. That is common sense, not rudeness. If your order is delayed, they offer more beverages and queso or salsa and chips. Be sure not to decline and post bad reviews. After all this is the season of giving not receiving and kindness should always be practiced. Complaining about trivial and obvious things, should be thought about before posting reviews. After all we live in a world with entitled Karen's. Before ordering, if they do not have what you like on the menu, you have the right to politely decline, pay your tab and go any place of your choosing. The chains with over priced mediocre food are all up and down Richmond Rd. They will be happy to serve you. read more
