Best taco Tuesday in Reno! $1.50 tacos!!! Yes I said it right $1.50 each taco! These are like prices from 20 years ago with flavors that are through the roof. The deal on these tacos is unheard of, and when I found out about it, I have visited week after week and the consistency has really been there. The Carnitas are probably my favorite. They are crispy and the meat has great flavor. The service is pretty fast and the people are really nice. I haven't had a bad experience yet for my three visits that I have been there. The establishment is overall very clean and they play good music so I liked the vibe there. I haven't tried much else from the tacos, so the review is solely based on taco Tuesday and the quality of tacos they have to offer on that day. It's been a while since I've had food from here and decided to give them another shot. I'm glad that I did! Their tacos are delicious. You can probably skip the pastor, but the carnitas and asada are flavorful! And they are not shy about loading them up either! You will get a large taco for about $2.80. Keeping it 100, that's hard to beat most places. It can be a short wait to get your food, as it's cooked to order. So if you're in a hurry, call ahead of time. The Service wasn't exactly that great when I came in with my party. We ordered our drinks and they brought them out at almost the end of our meal. While on the topic of food, the food wasn't the worst but It was not as good as we had hoped for a $200 bill that awaited us. Something was wrong with everyone's food. It was either flavorless, tasted bad or just genuinely wasn't good in any aspect. I've been coming to this place for years. I've always thought the food was decent and the prices were too bad. Sometimes the service was a little slow but overall they've been good to me. I haven't been here for a couple month and decided to get the shrimp ceviche again today. It was good but not as good as before. It seemed like it was missing something, like a spice or something. It tasted a little bland this time. I noticed that there was a different cook in the back. He's not as good as the old cook. Don't get me wrong. It was good, just not as good as I've had in the past. I also noticed that they changed their menu and prices. But like everything, the prices were going to go up. I'd say stuff went up an extra $2, but I think they're still cheaper than other Mexican restaurants. Their prices were cheap before. It was like a hidden gem. Attended another Mexican taqueria down the road for a YELP event and it was pure chaos so we stopped in here. What a find! From the start the male elder host was cute and helped me w/our Spanish. I have been going to this place for a couple years. Food is good. Never had any issue u til recently. I paced an order to go, which I usually do, and as I was placing my order, the music was increased to an uncomfortable level. As soon as I got my food, the music was turned down. Stopped into Los Potrillos a couple weeks ago for a breakfast burrito after realizing Full Belly Deli next door was closed on Sunday........ So the burritos were very tasty- bacon, egg, cheese and potatoes, very good size that only a big appetite could finish, shareable for smaller appetites for sure. Nice long bar to sit at, we sat and snacked on chips and salsa while we waited for our food , chips were yummy- they sprinkle some magic seasoning on them that make them extra delicious. Salsa was good but not traditional red salsa with cilantro and onion that I prefer, I think it was like a tomatillo salsa that was pretty mild. I happened to be by the neighborhood and saw this restaurant sandwiched between other business centers. I ordered 3 tacos de lengua (cow tongue) and 3 tacos de cabeza (cow head) and they were delicious. I wasn't able to take a picture of the tacos right when they came out, but I took the aftermath.
