Customer service was great and the drinks strong. the food was average and cold. It's like they put premade beans and rice in the plate and forgot to stick it in the microwave. But the tacos and Gordita was hot. My favorite thing was the red and green salsa they served with the chips. It had a nice spicy kick.

One I first came to Houston this was one of my first restaurants and it was legit good food. Haven't been in a while because the food slipped somewhat to me and some subpar visits. The chimichanga here made me fall in love back in 2014. Over time it got inconsistent and a hit or miss. When they are on it this is great Mexican food. Hopefully things get back right.

Excellent Pollo Con Mole Enchiladas dish and good service. This was the first time I tried Mole sauce and I thought it was awesome. The sauce was a bit sweet and reminded me of chocolate, which is weird because it's on enchiladas, but it was good! My co-worker ordered the burrito and was a bit disappointed. It was huge, but he said most of it was lettuce and shredded cheese. He didn't finish it. My other co-workers enjoyed their dish though. When you walk inside you might be a bit confused. Half the place looks like a make-shift night club and the other half looked like a regular restaurant. Keep in mind though, I came in at 1:00 AM on a Saturday morning so it might not always look like this. There were people dancing in the small area and loud music playing. It was kind of weird at first because the dance floor is about 20 feet away from you and you are just sitting on the other side of the restaurant eating food. There was also an older lady wearing a cat costume smoking a cigarette about 20 feet away on other another table. Our waiter was friendly and very polite. This helped contributed to my 4 star review. Pros: -Pollo Con Mole Enchiladas -Good service (Your waiter/waitress may vary) Cons: -Cat lady smoking cigarette

Love this place. The owner and his son are super nice and friendly. I was missing a taco from my order and they fixed me right up with 3 more extra tacosgreat customer service thank you. Try the street tacos soooooo good.

Once Again I Was Let Down By This Restaurant. I Ordered Food TO-GO And When I Got There The Food Wasn't Even Ready And Was Told I Wasn't Able To Receive My Order . I Decided To Give The Restaurant A Second Chance Yet This Happened. I Would Not Recommend This Restaurant To Anyone Nor Give It Anymore Chances . The Owner Refused My Service Even Though I Called Ahead . Not Cool . I Would Give 0 Stars If Possible .

I went in for lunch during the week and it was empty inside, but I was excited to give it a try. I enjoyed the complementary chips and salsa, they were delicious. I also enjoyed the gorditas, which were huge and generously filled. The al pastor pork and beef fajita were so flavorful and tender. But I didn't actually like their rice and beans, the flavor was just off for me, almost sweet and I don't know why it would be that way. Anyway, overall it was okay. I'd go back for the gorditas and salsa at least.

Four chicken bones I found in one single enchilada on the Enchiladas Verdes plate. NOT OKAY.
    Kat E.

I ordered the Chicken Verdes enchiladas and there were not one, not two, but FOUR bones that were in the first half of the single enchilada I was eating. I approached the manager and all he said to me was "Well you're still talking to me now, aren't you?" So the whole didn't kill you scenario was his cop out excuse. I was appalled. I don't do this. I don't complain at restaurants because I know the service industry. I didn't do it with the expectation of getting my food comped, just to let him know this isn't good for business and general health concerns, but he was very rude when I even tried to simply talk about it saying "if a chicken doesn't have bones, is it a chicken?" Which is fair, but not in my enchiladas which I don't wanna choke on? He just tried to make it seem like I was being unreasonable in my claims when no, it was FOUR bones I found in one single enchilada on the plate. He sent us a round of tequila to make up for it but does it really? If I hadn't noticed them and picked out the bones, would I have choked? Who knows but he shouldn't have been so nonchalant about it. Otherwise, the service wasn't bad. Our waiter was very apologetic but the manager tried to make me feel stupid for complaining about FOUR bones in one single enchilada which is frankly unacceptable.

    Enchiladas de mole!!! Must try!

The food was not that good at all. Service was slow. I was very disappointed at the tacos received. I've had better go else where.

This place is delicious! Authentic Mexican food, and the restaurant definitely needs to be more popular. Try the mole enchiladas!

Not without strain ofcourse, I was just a little distracted with other pursuits and unwilling to make the drive to Humble. My first visit to the Spring location, I'm excited to announce that Chick Houz and I have reunited, and the meal was delicious. We ordered the family meal (the chicken special), both desserts :), and ofcourse a chicha morada. The whole chicken plus three sides was enough to feed four (and likely another), and while we were expecting maximum flavor from the chicken, the yucca fries were a beautiful, crispy, soft, comforting surprise. If I could, I'd eat them daily. That being said, I'd honestly reorder everything. If you've yet to give them a visit, know that they're worth droppin

The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating. The menu offers a solid variety without being overwhelming. Our food came out quickly, hot, and smelled amazing right from the start. I ordered the Lomo Saltado--tender beef sautéed with red onions and Roma tomatoes, served with white rice and crispy French fries, topped with a touch of cilantro. It was very flavorful and satisfying. I also had a cup of chicha, the traditional drink made from purple Peruvian corn, and it was nicely done. We also tried the Brasa Burrito, which was packed with pulled rotisserie chicken, queso fresco, green onions, cilantro aioli, and a bit of fried rice (chaufa-style), along with black beans, Mexican crema, crispy onions, romaine lettuce, and Roma tomatoes on the side, plus your choice of sauce. A unique and tasty combination. The rotisserie chicken itself was excellent--juicy and well-seasoned. We had a half chicken (all white meat) served with rice chaufa and French fries, which made for a hearty and delicious meal. Our server was attentive throughout, checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. While it wasn't as authentic as what I'm used to, it was still a very enjoyable meal--especially for Texas.

Boy was I surprised to be seated by a hostess only to glance around to find a bar, enclosed patio and semi open kitchen. Did the meal itself differ from its fast casual counterparts? Not by much, but the offerings were more robust. I love to see pie on the menu alongside shakes, and while Mac and cheese and fries are welcome, orange chicken, Korean spices, broccoli salad, collards and heavenly eggs are a welcome change of pace. Our first trip (dine in) was about a 4-5 star experience. I waiter was not the most attentive and the food took quite awhile but the experience was positive enough for me to return. The second trip was a drive thru experience and it was...not as pleasant. Our service wasn't the best, our attendant less than enthused to be doing their job. A matter of fact, I felt like I was bothering her by ordering. While my food was fine, my sandwich came without napkins and again the food (one sandwich) took quite awhile. I'm unsure if I'll return with so many options in the area, but I'm glad I experienced them twice!

Broccoli salad tasted great, my chicken sandwich was moist and shoestring fries were crunchy! I really liked the dirty mac as the cheese was cheesy and the chicken sandwich was also really good. I hope they open more locations and into a bigger location for this one since it was busy!
