I have a miniature schnauzer and we had her groomed on the fifth. When we got her back, she had severe razon burn on her neck. Her neck is swollen and is going to the vet. She can't eat correctly or walk without here head twisted to the side. No one is answering the phone. I can't e enough hold my dog, she is so traumatized. Schnauzer have a week that and can cause serious damage to them. Needless to say she will not be going back there. We spent $90 dollars for my baby to be hurt. Scammers. These people will charge you differently every time you come in. It's not sales or promotions, it's literally them determining how much you should pay *after* they've completed the services, based on what you look like. You know exactly what I'm talking about... I pay by Zelle, to lower the costs on their end. I get only 2 services, a full bath or full bath + haircut. The differences are not whether or not I tip; they are literally changing their prices. I'm fluent in Spanish. It is most certainly not a language barrier. They also do not express the anal glands. I'll be going back to Petsmart and Petco. I would literally rather pay twice as much than get scammed. I went to Petsmart in a different state on vacation, and they told me my poor dog's glands were so stopped up, as if they hadn't been expressed in months. I went to Los Rios the day before I left for vacation... I initially wasn't going to leave this review, as I support hardworking minorities having a small business and being self-employed. But there are just too many problems here. If I hadn't paid by Zelle, I would do a credit card chargeback for every single purchase at this merchant. Also, the young lady who works on school breaks and weekends is super rude. I am literally directly putting food on their table and clothes on their backs. She and her parents would have very different lives and "careers" if it weren't for loyal, frequent customers like me. She should learn to never be rude to customers. Fortunately, I had parents that didn't require me to work. I spent my time being a teenager. She clearly isn't mature enough to be the face of the business. read more

This is the sweetest family owned grooming spot in East plano! My dog never hesitates to go in and doesn't even look back at me when Gloria takes him. He is excited to come and puts his paws right up on the counter when we walk in. Other, nearby, grooming facilities he refused to go in and acted nervous and anxious upon entry. Los-rios groomers do a fantastic job grooming him and he smells good for 1.5 weeks after!!!!! His coat is so soft and fluffy as well. I love how the grooming is done completely out in the open so you can see how well the animals are being cared for. Not to mention it is extremely affordable. They take walkins but i always make an appointment. I highly recommend los-rios grooming if you want an affordable, exceptional grooming experience for your fur babies. read more
